Wake up 15 mins early: Not a tall ask; just wake up 15 mins early than a regular schedule. Dedicate the first 5 mins to breathing deeply. Focus on your breath and make a conscious effort to breathing deep. You could also alternative method of breathing in through your nose
and breathing our through your mouth. Once you are done with deep breathing, it’s time to stretch your body. A simple routine of 10 min full body stretch can help your body to warm up and improve the blood circulation, range of motion, and of course calms you mind. A Fruit in your breakfast:
A healthy breakfast is synonymous to healthy mind and body. A very simple way to kick start your day with a sumptuous breakfast which must definitely include a Fruit; any fruit of your choice. Remember, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Try to eat a different fruit every day.
Chant a Mantra:
A Mantra can work like an anchor in one’s life. It helps to create certain kind of positive energy around oneself. And when regularly chanted for certain number of times helps to align the body, mind and spirit. A mantra need not be of religious kinds. It could also be just a positive, simple, short affirmation for ex. It’s a beautiful day or Today is a very happy day!
10 mins of Fresh Air:
A daily escape from your everyday chore and routine is essential to find the centre in you. Also it does help you to refresh your mind and cut-off from the ever piling and constant intrusion of thoughts. A simple way would be just to take a quick 10 min break, may be stroll in fresh air in a park near you should do great to Up your mood and spirit. Practise Gratitude:
Practising Gratitude can be become one way of Life. It uplifts once state of mind instantaneously and can have manifold benefits on one’s health. Individuals who regularly practice Gratitude and take time out to be grateful for the things, people, situations , experiences etc, tend to enjoy more positive emotions, better sleep, fulfilling relationship, strong immune systems and therefore healthy body and mind. Practising Gratitude is a very simple and easy. Consciously make time before you sleep, remind yourself about all the beautiful aspects of your life.
