Letter #5 to bilbao final

March 14, 2014 Good morning Bilbao, We think your project is awesome and we have a lot of questions about it! What are the different colored rectangles made out of? How long did it take you to make your project?

How did you come up with the idea for the project? We notice there is a sink and some stools in the pictures you sent us, but we don’t see any desks. What room did you build your wall in?

Today in class we worked together to create an artwork—just like you guys did to build your feelings wall! Miss Molly asked us to arrange our objects by size, color, and distance, and we tried putting them into different groups, like living and non-living things, and things that smell bad and things that smell good. We are practicing different ways to arrange our objects as a collection. We discovered that collaborating can be fun, but it can also be challenging since we don’t always agree on the best way to do things.

What do you guys think about collaborating? How did your class decide how to arrange the colors in your project?

Here are some pictures of us testing different ways to arrange our objects. Next week we will experiment with putting our objects in different places inside and outside of school, and we’ll send you more pictures.
