The Grace Lawrance Bursary | Years 7-8 2018 Description

Girls in Year 6 or Year 7 in 2017 at any school other than Queenwood are invited to apply for the Grace Lawrance Bursary for Years 7-12 (if in Year 6 in 2017) or Years 812 (if in Year 7 in 2017). The Bursary will be awarded on the basis of academic ability and general excellence. Continuation of a Bursary each year will be subject to an annual review of the candidate's progress and financial circumstances of her parents. A Bursary covers tuition fees at Queenwood each year. It does not cover the cost of books, uniforms, excursions or additional individual subject fees etc. Recipients receive additional benefits including mentoring from esteemed Old Girls, regular attendance at the Balmoral Lecture Series, involvement in the Catalyst Programme for gifted and talented students and participation in events as offered by the Principal. As a Bursary is means-tested, parents of short-listed candidates will be asked to present their financial circumstances, signed by a registered chartered accountant or CPA. This information will be kept strictly confidential. All scholarships are awarded at the Principal’s discretion. The School reserves the right in its absolute discretion not to award a scholarship in any particular year or any particular award.
