X.

RE-ADMISSION AFTER BREAK OF STUDY:  The regulations for re-admission are as per the University Common Regulation for Readmission after break of study for all courses.

XI. WORKING DAYS IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR:  Each academic year shall consist of not less than 270 working days. XII.

ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION TO EXAMINATION: a. No candidate shall be permitted to appear in any one of the parts of B.Sc. in Nursing Degree course (Basic) Examinations unless he/she has attended the course in the subject for the prescribed period in an affiliated institution recognized by this University and produce the necessary certificate of study attendance, satisfactory conduct and progress from the Head of the institution. b. A candidate is required to put in a minimum of 90% of attendance inboth theory and practical separately in each subject before admission to the examinations. c. The classes for Under Graduate students will commence from 1 st August of every year and the University examination will commence from 1stAugust of the subsequent year. Therefore, the attendance willbe calculated for the Under Graduate students from 1st August of the same year to 31st July of the next year including examination period. d. If the candidate is lacking attendance in any one of the subject(s), he/she will be detained for the subject(s) in which the candidate lacksattendance but will be permitted to appear for the rest of the subjects in which the candidate is having minimum required percentage of attendance. e. A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areasbefore award of Degree.

XIII.

CONDONATION OF LACK OF ATTENDANCE:  There shall be No condonation of lack of attendance. Thereshall be no condonation of any leave for any reason including Pregnancy, Child Birth, Medical conditions of any nature.

XIV.

VACATION:  The Heads of Institutions shall declare 3 (three) weeks of vacation in an academic year to the students. The period(s) of vacation can be decided by the Head of the Institution.

XV.

INTERNAL ASSESSMENT MARKS: The Internal Assessment should consist of the following points for evaluation: 1. Theory 2. Practical & oral WEIGHTAGE OF MARKS THEORY 50 MARKS (common to all subjects) a. Term test b. Assignment
