Angelo’s at Chevin Golf Club

Since opening in Duffield three years ago, Angelo’s Bistro at the Kings Head has become a popular destination, widely known for its delicious Italian food and excellent service.

When the opportunity recently arose for the team to expand their business to the local Chevin Golf Club they jumped at the chance, and now bring their renowned quality and service to this stunning location nestled at the foot of the Chevin.

Open to members and non-members, the bar and restaurant welcomes everyone from golfers to family groups. Their extensive menu is more traditional than Angelo’s Bistro but equally as delicious, with breakfasts, light bites, lunches and their ‘all day’ menu available daily, as well as à la carte evening meals (served from 6pm – 8.30pm) and Sunday lunches (12 – 5.30pm).

Sitting outside on the terrace, when the weather permits, you’re afforded beautiful views – you’d never believe you’re just a stone’s throw from the A6! Inside there’s a large dining area and conservatory with a glorious outlook and a separate private function room, making this the perfect location for a party, wedding, baby shower, wake or any other event. “With different areas available we can accommodate groups of all sizes and will work with you to plan exactly what you want for the occasion, from a finger buffet to a sit-down meal.” explains manager, Hollie (pictured centre). “After all this time away from friends and family it’s so nice to be able to get together once again, and we’re thrilled to be able to host long overdue celebrations!”

On Fridays and Saturdays throughout December they are offering ‘Dinner and Dancing’ evenings, with a 3-course seasonal menu and DJ, ideal for groups or work Christmas outings. They’re already proving very popular so booking is essential – large groups can be accommodated but do plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

Of course they also welcome more ‘spur of the moment’ visits at other times – booking is not always necessary if you want to just call in for breakfast after the school run, a lunchtime catch up or an evening meal after a walk on the Chevin.
