Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (South), since raising and operationalization, has played a key role in stability and prosperity of South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Kurram, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan Districts. Numerous measures for enhancement of security have been undertaken. Significant achievements include: Border Management Erection of border management fence is nearly in the process of completion all along the Western Frontiers of Kurram, North Waziristan and South Waziristan Districts passing through arid and inhospitable terrain. This initiative has contributed towards:

Effective management of international border to check for any un-warranted ingress and control on informal trade / smuggling. Curbing the tendency of facilitating and harboring terrorism within Pakistan. Construction and establishment of forts, watch towers and posts all along the border region for effective monitoring.

• Surveillance through installation of state-of-the-art Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras having 24/7 live feed coverage along the international border, lines of communication and major towns / cities. Capacity Enhancement Contribution of immense value equipment, arsenal, stores and material for operationalization. The assistance rendered as enumerated has transformed the outlook of the force.

Construction of the Frontier Corps Headquarter at Dera Ismail Khan. Raising of canine platoon for enhanced tracking and tracing of suspects. Provision of Explosive Ordinance Disposal Equipment to newly raised Search and Explosives disposal outfit for neutralization of Improvised

Explosive Devices, thereby saving innumerable lives.

Assistance of special grants for establishment of water supply schemes in the far flung and inaccessible area for use of locals and troops. Maintenance and construction of approach roads and tracks; enhancing communication capability. Revitalization of mechanical transport of the force through availability of tractors, trucks, water bowsers and miscellaneous other assets.

Aviation Flight Administrative Sortie Fortnightly administrative sorties provided by the Ministry of Interior on Rawalpindi - Wana and back has further strengthened the capability and morale of the deployed troops in the hardest areas of the country. Approval of the third sortie in a month has further boosted the motivation of all ranks, extending valuable assistance towards evacuation of war wounded, injured and deserving personnel. Raising of New Wings Initiation of phase-II new raising of 4x Frontier Corps South Wings is expected subject to availability of financial outlay. Corona Pandemic Enormous efforts and contributions are made in collaboration with Civil Administration for control on spread of pandemic.

Establishment of free relief camps for the distribution of cooked meals and delivery of free ration packages.
