GILGIT BALTISTAN SCOUTS (GBS)

Operational Deployment

1x Wing of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts remains deployed on Line of Control (LOC) under command Force Command Northern Areas. 112 Wing is deployed at Piun Sector under command 323 Brigade. 1x Wing (-) at Gilgit and 4 x Platoon at Skardu employed on Internal Security duties. Total, 40 xplatoons are deployed in Gilgit Baltistan to maintain Law & Order. Recovery of Illegal Weapons/

Ammunition-2019/20 Major Internal Security Duties Employment

During Internal Security deployment, 12 illegal weapons / ammunition have been recovered.
