CURRICULUM English AREA/CONTENT KS4

KS4- ENGLISH From 2014-15, the majority of our pupils will study both AQA English Language and AQA English Literature. Our rationale behind this curriculum choice is our belief that it gives our pupils the broadest study across English including a broad range of literature over time and a broad range of practical English language skills which will prepare them for professional communication in the world of work. The challenging nature of this course, builds technical skill as well as opportunities to develop deeper thinking skills. Independent study skills are crucial to success in this course and therefore we believe it thoroughly prepares our learners for higher English study.
