Context (from the Latin for “to weave�) is an evolutionary timeline in the form of a basket beginning with typewriters and looms, then branching into computing.


Copper Bowl, 2001

12" high x 6" diameter at top Copper sheet, wire, tube.

Mimicking wigwam construction and shell growth patterns, Copper Bowl uses all available (found) parts of a single material: copper.


Trilobyte, 2001

5 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" Found metal, copper wire, bubble wrap, telephone cord, jute.

A play on words, Trilobyte, refers to both the extinct, egg laying arthropod and thousands of bytes communicated through outdated techonology..
