By Chuck Neighbors When a woman is put on trial for speaking an "illegal language" on the island of Cretin, the complex, ever-changing laws of the court provide a hilarious experience for audiences of all ages. This one-act parodies both the complexities of a legal trial and the seemingly necessary need for a universal language. Younger kids will enjoy the ageless informality of the trial, while the older "kids-at-heart" will chuckle at the many cracks directed towards the absurdity of the legal proceedings Judge Fickle - Greg Simons James Caprice - Jesse Farmer Sally Striker - Lane Blaha Alice Wright - Katie Hall Bailiff - Jennifer Mardis Court Reporter - Keegan Robison
A Musical Adaptation of Margaret Slattery’s “The King in the Kitchen.” Adapted by Lorrie Harris There is trouble in the kingdom! The Queen hates the food that the Chef and cooks have been making, so she decides to take matters into her own 4
hands, and makes a very interesting dish! In the meantime, a Peasant has asked for the Princess's hand in marriage - becoming a "royal pain" to the Queen, who wants her daughter to marry the Duke! The twists and turns of the silly tale receive an added "ummph" from a selection of Motown song segments intermingled with the dialogue. Think "Shrek in the Kitchen"...sort of. Queen - Holly Harris Princess - Maggie Clark Duke - Marcus Megahee Chef - Gabby Beteag Cooks - Jackie Lenz, Meghan Long, Aubree Robison, Charity Robison, Kevin Robison Guards - Albert Strickland, Medley Long II, Medley Long III
