Introduction

Jesus had to break a lot of molds, mindsets, false theology, false doctrines and teachings to set women free to take their place in His Kingdom; to take their place for the new dispensation as women who would become new creatures in Christ indwelt by His Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:16-18). As members of His Body, flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone and as spiritually one in Himself women were released to serve Christ Jesus. Freeded from the mainstream heresy and era that kept them under Rabbinic traditions and customs. Women were certainly oppressed under these Rabbinical Patriarchal laws and traditions. We know Covenant gives a God-given right to social justice and fair treatment of the oppressed, the fatherless and the widow (Isaiah 1:17). And we know that Yahweh instituted a Patriarchal and not a Matriarchal headship. We know that Christ is the head of the Church and man is the head of woman his wife. But a lot of us do not know about their position in the Church? This book will reveal by an extensive study to proclaim woman is permitted to be a Pastor, Leader and in authority over men. Christ Jesus Bride who is both male and female, then would He not allow both His Bride of either sex to Shepard or be a Leader or to teach the opposite gender. Reading this book will either convince you that the last paragraph is truth or false. Make no judgment by the introduction until you have read the book. The book has had to be split into two books, the second book is 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Be blessed and be a blessing Agape

Chapter 1 He Shall Rule Over You “And He said to the woman, I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception; you shall bear sons in sorrow, and your desire shall be toward your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3:16

Jesus was born in a day where the culture and status of the Jewish women were governed by Torah Law with much heresy and error of the various rabbinic schools of teachings both passed down from old, and teachings of that era. Therefore women from Eve until the time of Christ knew they had distinct social roles to play and these women under Law their rabbinic custom and their Jewish culture knew this oh so well. It was the females do this only and males do this only, women knew their role was to be a wife and a mother and through this they would hope to have respect or status. They knew they were to be fruitful and multiply under Yahweh’s commandment. They knew they were responsible for the household and looking after the man. They also knew their status was ‘low,’ and they had to by Law go through ritual cleansing after menstruation and childbirth, with twice as much cleansing needed after having a girl baby. They knew that boy babies were regarded by rabbinic teachings as a sign of God’s favor as opposed to girl babies. They knew that in some rabbinic traditions they were considered as low in status. In the Talmud writings “males were taught to thank God daily that they were male (the prayer is recorded in the Talmud, Menachoth 43b).”1. [Ramey Mollenkott 1977:10] now we know the Talmud was not a translation of Scriptures, but a compilation of the traditions and oral laws of Rabbinic Jews. In some Schools of Rabbinic teachings it was taught of women as follows: ““Not to be spoken to in public or to wives or daughters (Talmud, Berachoth 24a). Considered her/woman’s voice as a sexual enticement (Talmud, Berachoth 24a) Not to be a witness in a court of law. Not to read from the Torah during prayer services because of the “dignity of the congregation.” (Megillah 23a) 7

Not permitted to pray aloud at their own table. (Berachoth 20b) Not to recite the blessing over wine on behalf of the whole family, if a male allowed his wife to do so he was to receive a pronounced curse. Some men considered it preferable to burn the Torah rather than let women have it in their hands. Not to be taught the Torah if they did they were teaching her lasciviousness (Sotah 3:4) To be divorced if she spoiled his cooking - Hillel Gamaliel’s grandfather. To be divorced if he found a woman more beautiful. (Gittin 9:10) Not entitled to financial settlement at divorce if they spoke too loudly at home, or did not wear a head covering in the street or spoke to men in the street. Considered to be light-minded-unreliable and a pitcher full of filth with its mouth full of blood (Shabbath 152a) Considered as this - “For out of clothes comes the moth, and out of woman comes woman’s wickedness. Better a man’s wickedness than a woman’s goodness; it is woman who brings shame and disgrace (Ecclesiastics 42:13-14 NEB) Considered as this - woe to him whose children are daughters. Considered not a complete person until marriage - “A woman is a shapeless lump, and concludes a covenant only with him who transforms her a vessel, as it is written: For thy maker is thy husband” (Babylonian talmud, Sanhedrin 22b) Was required to give any income she made from her handicraft or premarriage assets to her husband, this became his property (Kethuboth 65b, 78a, 48b) Was required to wash his face, hands, and feet, make his bed, pour his wine (Kethuboth 59b)”” 2. [Ramey Mollenkott, 1977:10-12] So you can see the culture of the day and the status some Jewish women had, even though it was not the total majority of rabbinic schools of thought however it was mainstream. Nevertheless it was against such heresy and error that Jesus had to break a lot of molds, mindsets, false theology, false doctrines and teachings to set women free to take their place in His Kingdom; to take their place for the new dispensation as women who would become new creatures in Christ indwelt by His Spirit, (2 8

Corinthians 5:16-18) members of Body and flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone and as spiritually one in Himself. By the time of Jesus many decades of laws and Rabbinic traditions customs and commentaries had been written surrounding the interpretation of The Torah the Prophets, all laws, Eve, creation, lifestyle and women. However just because they were Rabbi’s it did not make their interpretations correct and or truly Biblical for after all Jesus had to dispel so much of the Pharisees and Sadducees teachings. In this chapter we will view woman’s status according to the original command “he shall rule over thee” and the next Chapter according to Torah, according to Yahweh’s will for womankind and lets realize he shall rule over thee has an application to all The Word. According to The God we know to be a God of Covenant, a God of His Word, A Holy Righteous and Just God (Deuteronomy 32:3-4; Isaiah 45:21). The God we know who has killed, who has kept alive, who has wounded and who heals, who has cursed (Deuteronomy 32:39, 28:15-69). The God we know who cares, who is patient, merciful and compassionate and whose loving kindness will not be removed from us (Isaiah 54:7-10). The God of great understanding who has sworn not to be angry with us as He swore not to ever flood the earth again (Isaiah 54:9). The God we know who is Love (1 John 4:8) and gives us a Covenant of peace (Isaiah 54:10). The God we know who trains our hands to war with the weapons of His might so no weapon formed against us legally or illegally will prosper and any tongue that accuses us will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The God we know who has done a finished work with the handwriting to no longer be against us (Colossians 2:14), who has redeemed us from the curse (Galatians 3:13) of the Law. We are set free (Galatians 5:1) to walk in the law of The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Roman 8:2), delivered from the powers of darkness (Colossians 1:13). The God we know today who instructs teaches and does correct (2 Timothy 3:16) us. The God we know who judges so we will not be condemned with the world (1 Corinthians 11:32, Hebrews 13:4). The God we know who can destroy (1 Corinthians 3:17), especially if we destroy His temple. The God we know of today and pre the cross of Christ. “Ascribe greatness to our God the Rock” (Deuteronomy 32:3-4) What does His character revealed above reflect towards women in the Old 9

Testaments, in the Covenants? Women were certainly oppressed under these Rabbinical Patriarchal laws and traditions. But were they under Mosaic Covenant Laws? Did Yahweh’s Law plead for women, liberate or make equal? Or did the Law oppress, exploit and put women in submission and subrogation you might say in bondage? Did the law set up a system to mistreat women? Were women socially and economically dependent upon men because of Biblical laws? You will be able to answer this for yourself throughout this book. Firstly we have to consider what was the essence of the Covenant regarding women? Was it to preserve a Nation, a family unit, and a community? Therefore the law should reflect what was written in Genesis 3:16? Especially in determining if this was a curse or a command or a known result of their sins. “Yet your desire will be for your husband, And He will rule over you.” (KJ) “... yet you shall crave to have your husband, and he shall master you.” (James Moffatt) “.. submission shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” (Septuagint - Brenton 1986) “Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.” (NASB) “15. I will put enmity between thee and the woman. And between thy seed and her seed. [Prophesies, words in brackets here mine] It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 16. Unto the woman he said ‘A snare has increased thy sorrow and thy sighing thou art turning (teshuqa hebrew, apostrophe Greek) away to thy husband, and he will rule over thee,” (Septuagint Greek translated from original Hebrew according to Bushnell’s teaching - is that Adam was expelled from the garden (Gen 3:23) not Eve as she repented. Therefore Eve turns away from God to follow Adam and the consequence of that deflection would be in the natural Adam would rule over her, therefore God did not curse or judge Eve, for God was making a statement she would turn from Him and make an alliance with her husband. She writes the Original Hebrew had no divisions into verses, or even divisions between words.). 3. [Bushnell, 2003: ] 10

We know Covenant gives a God-given right to social justice and fair treatment of the oppressed, the fatherless and the widow (Isaiah 1:17). And we know that Yahweh instituted a Patriarchal and not a Matriarchal headship, but why not both equal Patriarchal and Matriarchal? When Yahweh said to Eve: “He said to the woman, I will greatly increase your sorrow and your conception; you shall bear sons in sorrow, and your desire shall be toward your husband; and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3:16 (Interlinear Bible Hebrew Greek English) “… I will greatly multiply thy pains and thy groanings; in pain thou shalt bring forth children, and thy submission shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” Genesis 3:16 (Septuagint with Apocrypha - Brenton) “...To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you will bring forth children; yet your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” Genesis 3:16 (NASB) “To the woman he said, many are thy pangs, many are the throes I will give thee to endure; with pangs thou shalt give birth to children, and thou shalt be subject to thy husband; he shall be thy lord. Genesis 3:16 (Knox Version) We have to consider was this the foundational premise for His Laws for women before the birth of Christ Jesus? Also we have to know do those verses witness as a curse, a judgment or as a statement saying this is now the consequence of your deception Eve. Even though we see the word curse is not used, neither is it used in this scripture, but we know physical death is considered an original curse: “And to Adam He said.... 20. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat thy bread until thou return to the earth out of which thou wast taken, for earth thou are and to earth thou shalt return.” Genesis 18, 20 (Septuagint with Apocrypha - Brenton) “Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife... 19. By the sweat of your face you will eat bread, till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; for you are dust, and to 11

dust you shall return.”

Genesis 3:17, 19 (NASB)

Many writers believe Yahweh made a statement to Eve saying this is the consequence of your sin. In simple words “because of the snare, by your sins, you have brought this upon yourself for your husband to Rule over you.” Writers believe Yahweh was not cursing her but informing her that sin was the causation for husband to rule. The curse was painful childbirth, enmity between Satan, his demons and her seed, hence against all women. Further writers believe God would not bless Eve and women as the progenitor of the coming Messiah and herald them as the enemy of Satan all in one breath. Then curse them in the next breath by putting enmity with Satan and his kingdom, or be the causation of painful childbirth, or be the causation of desire to please the husband or be the causation of the husband having total Rulership. In addition that Satan is the one who would have us believe God cursed Eve and all women under such conditions to defame the name of God, and so he could cause great devastation to women knowing he was the one who cursed Eve and all women by lying about Genesis 3:15-16. However, “Yahweh is known by the judgments which He executes” (Psalm 9:16). Consider the judgment of ‘stoned to death,’ it’s cruel, can be slow and would be painful and frightening then that person male or female would spend an eternity in Sheol. Therefore consider the nature of God in these following Scriptures: “See now that I, I am He, and there is no other God with Me. I kill, and I keep alive. I wound and I heal, and there is no deliverer from My hand. 40. For I lift up My hand to the heavens and say, I live forever!” Deuteronomy 32:39-40 (Interlinear Bible) “Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. 2. “All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the LORD your God: 3. Blessed shall you be ......... 15. “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the LORD your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, then all these curses will come upon you and overtake you: 16. Cursed shall you be...” Deuteronomy 28:1-3, 15-16 (NASB) “So I will hurl you out of this land into the land which you have not 12

known, neither you nor your fathers; and there you will serve other gods day and night, for I will grant you no favor. 14. “Therefore behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when it will no longer be said, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ 15. but, ‘As the LORD lives, who brought up the sons of Israel from the land of the north and from all the countries where He had banished them.’ For I will restore them to their own land which I gave to their fathers. 16. “Behold, I am going to send for many fishermen,” declares the LORD, “and they will fish for them; and afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they will hunt them from every mountain and every hill and from the clefts of the rocks. 17. “For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes. 18. “I will first doubly repay their iniquity and their sin, because they have polluted MY land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable idols and with their abominations. 19. O LORD, my strength and my stronghold, And my refuge in the day of distress, To You the nations will come From the ends of the earth and say, “Our fathers have inherited nothing but falsehood, Futility and things of no profit.” 20. Can man make gods for himself? Yet they are not gods! 21. “Therefore behold, I am going to make them know-This time I will make them know My power and My might; And they shall know that My name is the LORD” Jeremiah 16:13-21 “Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and all that your fathers have laid up in store to this day will be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,’ say the LORD.” 2 Kings 20:17 (NASB) “So Israel was enrolled by genealogies; and behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. And Judah was carried away into exile to Babylon for their unfaithfulness.” 1 Chronicles 9:1 (NASB) “Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2. ‘Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations. ... 27. “Behold now, I have stretched out My hand against you and diminished your rations, And I delivered you up to the desire of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who are ashamed of your lewd conduct.”.... 38. “Thus I will judge you like women who commit adultery or shed blood are judged; and I will bring on you the blood of wrath and jealousy. 39. “I will also give you into the hands of your lovers, and they will tear down your shrines, demolish your high places, strip you of your clothing, take away 13

your jewels, and will leave you naked and bare. 40. “They will incite a crowd against you and they will stone you and cut you to pieces with their swords. 41. “They will burn your houses with fire and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women. Then I will stop you from playing the harlot, and you will also no longer pay your lovers. 42. “So I will calm My fury against you and My jealousy will depart from you, and I will be pacified and angry no more. 43. “Because you have not remembered the days of your youth but have enraged Me by all these things, behold, I in turn will bring your conduct down on your own head,” declares the Lord God, “so that you will not commit this lewdness on top of all your other abominations.”.... 60. “Nevertheless, I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish and everlasting covenant with you. 61. “Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, both your older and your younger; and I will give them to you as daughters, but not because of your covenant. 62. “Thus I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall know that I am the Lord, 63. so that you may remember and be ashamed and never open your mouth anymore because of your humiliation, when I have forgiven you for all that you have done,” Ezekiel 16:1-2, 27, 38-43, 60-63 The Lord GOD declares.” (This whole chapter 16 of Ezekiel and chapter 17 is worthy of reading as it reveals how Yahweh judged Jerusalem for her unfaithfulness and Judah for his treachery in breaking covenant with the king of Babylon and reveals how Yahweh takes part with the king of Babylon against Judah (Ezekiel 17:20). Then proclaims a blessing on Judah by promising to raise the royal family from this tribe, the house of David, then from there the Messiah and his kingdom would come (Ezekiel 17:22-24). Consider this; is this the same pattern and nature of Yahweh displayed here as in Genesis 3:15-16? God judges His chosen people, then proclaims blessing on this line of Judah with Messiah so He can gather the lost sheep of Israel that He judged with pangs-the totality of all judgments written in Ezekiel, to add His other judgments on that Nation of people - God judges Eve/woman with pangs-the totality of all judgments written in Genesis, then proclaims blessing on her with Messiah so He can overthrow her enemy that He used for her judgment. Scripture will always prove Scripture no matter how incorrectly Scripture is translated. Law given to Moses was from Yahweh, reveals husbands ruled over their wives, even the whole household of women. Law regulated all aspects of life, the 14

father had supreme authority in the family, and this authority extended to his married sons and their wives if they remained under his household. Even polygamy was permitted and recall in the beginning Lemek, Methushael son had two wives (Genesis 4:19), but, monogamy the general rule. Today in this dispensation we are still judged by curses (2 Peter 2:14), corrected as children, even though we read we are redeemed from the curse of the Law. Today He still does judge (Revelation 2:22, Colossians 3:6), curse (Galatians 1:8-9, 3:2, 10; Romans 7:1; 1 Timothy 1:9-11 Romans 8:9,16 Ephesians 2:2), destroy (1 Corinthians 3:17) and chasten (Revelation 3:19; Romans 1:24, 28; 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12). Further if He wills, deliver us unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh (1Corinthians 5:5) or if it were His will a messenger of Satan to buffet us (2 Corinthians 12:7). Now consider if a curse from Yahweh there has to be a demon spirit for every female-daughter/wife pre-the cross of Christ to outwork the fulfillment of this curse (Romans 3:19, 1 Timothy 1:8-9). From the pronunciation of words a “curse is a sending mechanism, and the demon spirits bring about the fulfillment of the curse. 4. [Kitchen, 1997:20] If a directive as in a command, or a judgment then no demons and nothing could annul it other than a New Covenant, a new law, thus only coming and in fulfillment of Messiah the seed. To me it was not some conflict of all ages that women were going to be subject to, or had to guard against coming from the natural sinful fallen state of the male gender that willed to rule and have women desire them. Or from Satan because Eve was the progenitor of Jesus or because it was to be the female gender that would birth the seed that would destroy him. Neither do I believe because there would be a feud between women and the kingdom of darkness. Neither some Satanic strategy to have women crippled so they could not contend with him in the fullness of the prophecy of Genesis 3:15 or in addition to have the husband have total dominion over her to cripple her more. Or through Satan mistranslating Scripture because he hated women and hated every time woman was to become a mother, as this might be the prophetic seed that would be his doom. Neither do I believe it is some Satanic, demonic masculine strategy by the mistranslation of Scripture to read God as cursing woman, thus Satan is causing snowball effects of devastation against women. 15

Neither, sin causing women to be warped for a twisted personality that would cause her to want and need male approval and him as her only source of satisfaction. Or that fallen state of woman would make woman vulnerable to be ruled by her husband because sin had corrupted the relationship between men and women. Neither do I believe because woman being the physical weaker vessel was totally dependent on men or a description “of the quality of life in a fallen world.” But a strategic directive from Yahweh, thus Yahweh and by His command The Law puts man over woman to rule. We see firstly creation reveals Yahweh’s directive of unity and equality of husband and wife (Genesis 1:27-28). But after the fall, Yahweh’s directive is “your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.” (Genesis 3:16) Or according to Bushnell’s interpretation of it just being as if it were a statement from Yahweh “thou art turning away to they husband, and he will rule over thee,” 5. [Bushnell: 2003: ] Mosaic Law gives us the major standard of judgment for interpreting “...and he will rule over you.” to reveal was this, the foundation command from Yahweh, or a curse against women. Or was it just causation because of sin entering the world because of her deception, their sins, or a mistranslation from the doctrines of the devil, the Law will reveal the truth. Consider again, Yahweh is known by His judgments. “And when a daughter of any priest pollutes herself by going whoring, she is polluting her father; she shall be burned with fire.” Leviticus 21:9 I believe she was to be ruled over for Patriarchal orientation and to pattern the Father premise of Heaven and The Tabernacle of Heaven (Hebrews 8:1-6, 9:11, 23, 24, 26), and for Yahweh’s redemptive plan for all mankind. It is from here the enemy has gained great footholds. Footholds intertwined of doctrines of devils under rabbinic perversion of The Torah and theologians, translators and teachers to date - who I might add 90% have been men and these say women are deceived more than men because of Eve – I think the percentage of male doctrines / denominations say a lot about deception don’t you? Hence this has caused great destruction against all women, religiously, socially and globally. Consider Jesus Christ “was foreknow before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you.” (1 Peter 1:20) The Gospel has been foretold from creation; the seed would bruise the heel of Satan (Genesis 3:15), the sacrifice with blood to make coats of skin for the sin of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:21), the serpent on the pole in the wilderness (Numbers 21:8-9), Abraham offering his only son Isaac (Genesis 22:2) Moses the type of Jesus 16

(Deuteronomy 18:15) and the tabernacle with all its symbolism. Also the appointed times within the feasts of the Israelites and The Lamb slain before the foundations of the world. Therefore, we should not be alarmed of a strategic move for the husband to be given the rule over women in Genesis 3:15-16 so as to bring forth a Patriarchal head. A divine order of all things as part of the plan in redemption and reconciliation of His heavens, His creation and creatures and to add to strategically plan for the new heaven to come and new city of Jerusalem. Recall the 24 elders, the heads of the twelve tribes, the twelve male Apostles with masculine names! It is noteworthy here to mention scripture is willfully translated as Knox a Scotsman. “A protestant reformer and patriot who did not accept Yahweh would appoint a woman, neither this Catholic woman Mary to the throne. He challenged “Mary’s right to the throne mostly on account of her womanhood. As a theologian, he interpreted biblical passages that deal with the role and the position of women in the most restrictive ways possible. By over emphasizing what the Scriptures tell women not to do, John Knox blinded himself and his followers to the many things to which women are entitled.” 6. [Bushnell, 2003: ] Knowing this read again his translation with his bias and keep this in mind whilst reading other scriptures from his version. We can see even in the year 1945 1948 when this version was printed his choice of the word men, man replaced the word women, woman in each account where it should read woman, women, her or she.

Chapter 2 The Law Concerning Women “And I will establish My covenant between Me and you, and your seed after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your seed after you.” Genesis 17:7

Now even though Yahweh’s Law appears to be bias against women it actually reveals Law for family identity, than laws against ‘gender’ of women or on the other hand laws for the ‘gender’ of men. Women were and would have felt a gender inequality and powerlessness coming from the Law but it was geared towards the preservation of a Patriarchal family and generation. The Laws put in place preserved the National Patriarchal identity of a race. A race as a Jewish Nation that was to be Yahweh’s signal to the Nations of Himself as The One True and Living God. Women we have this to rejoice about for Psalms 68:11 reveals Yeshua gives His Word as the General of His army to women who are a great host to proclaim His good tidings. Great is this company of preachers, teachers, prophetesses and leaders who advance the Kingdom of God against the Kingdom of Darkness according to Psalm 68:11 in the last days. Even the women who will not be called according to this will or His will to proclaim the good tidings, those who remain at home shall even divide the spoil. When we proclaim the good news, when we preach, teach, write and prophesy among the sheepfolds of where there are men, women are considered to be laying down among the sheepfolds, we are like the wings of a dove covered with silver, and our pinions are glistening gold. It is interesting to read as this writer notes that prior Mosaic Law when Yahweh told Noah to enter the ark with his household; Noah first entered then his sons, then his wife, and the sons’ wives 1. [Silvoso, 2001:107] (Genesis 7:7). “Then Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him entered the ark because of the water of the flood.” The order was males first, then females. This gives witness to “he will rule over you, and your desire shall be to your husband”! 18

Reading further in Genesis 8:16, Yahweh “spoke to Noe, saying come out from the ark, thou and thy wife and thy sons, and thy son’s wives with thee.” Genesis 8:16 Septuagint But we read Noah went out with his sons first, then his wife and his sons’ wives. “So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.” Genesis 8:18 NASB Noah did not go out literally as written of what Yahweh spoke. But according to a precedent of custom he was accustomed to, men first, then women. We know the human race to that time was instructed in ways of righteousness (Matthew 19:8) divorce was not permitted until Moses permitted it because of hardness of heart; new testament Scripture of Adam knew better than Eve for he was instructed and they had customs (Genesis 24:65) and customs of daughters as written in Exodus 21:9. The writer believes Yahweh’s heart willed for wife to come along side of the husband as equals as one flesh! However we see what had been custom for Noah from the fall, from such early days of creation carries on throughout the Mosaic period. Would things of been different for woman if this was the intended command of Yahweh to bring his wife in equal position as himself as he went out of the ark? Given they were the start of a generation that would bring forth the Hebrews, the Israelites to which the Word, The Covenants, the Passover, the feasts, the temple service and the promises, and the giving of The Mosaic Law (Romans 9:4). I do not believe this when you consider women’s place in a Patriarchal Law structure that was given by Yahweh throughout the Old Testament. I again believe not, as Yahweh had a plan, as Israel and the Hebrews or Jews were pre-ordained to be distinct and to birth Messiah at the consummation of the ages (Hebrews 9:26). They had to become Yahweh’s signal to the Nation’s that He was The True and Living God, Father of the only Begotten Son. Further, Yahweh’s redemptive plan was for The Hebrews to have a National and family/generational identity, not gender identity (Genesis 17:7-11). This was part of His plans and purposes of Salvation for the world from the 19

beginning “.... her seed; He shall....” And consider, the foundations of The New Jerusalem are the twelve tribes the gates are the twelve apostles. The Law was not geared towards gender favoritism, but family and generational identity, and Jewish National identity and redemption and salvation and of a whole household. The Patriarchal structure of the Law put men responsible for the wellbeing of their families, the wellbeing of their wives, their female generation and generations. Consider whereas Yahweh judges the Nation as a whole - The Covenant People (Ezekiel 36:20) and The Law convicted both male and female for violation, it was not egalitarian. Even though Patriarchy put men responsible for women, it did not on a whole depersonalize women. Yes, women were less significant than men in stature and status yet The Law governed their lives within a family unit, community and National structure. And The Law determined their legal status by their relationship to men; determined their dependence upon the father’s authority; dependence on belonging to a household of father, husband and sons; dependent upon betrothal; dependent upon the husband providing a household; dependence upon husband initiating a divorce; dependent as the family is the father’s house/hold, and if divorced she was to leave the husband’s household, she belonged to it but did not own it. But, The Law’s intention was for males to give identity, provision and protection and witness to the Covenants that would bless both genders. To make mention even Israel was a strategic location of land for then and for end times in as much as Patriarchal was foreordained. You can see the beauty in identity, protection and provision, but you can also see another side of powerlessness of woman coming from The Law. Food for thought; Deuteronomy 28 curses were for both males and females and some curses throughout The Word were directed at the Nation as a whole. Yahweh did not single out women to render them powerless or to depersonalize them by men ruling, because of Eve’s sin. He dealt with them as a generation(s), a Nation as a “People of Covenant.” and as a Father to their spirits. He had a plan, strategic plans, and way before He planned the consequences of sin from Eve and Adam. Let’s read some of The Law concerning women. What was to be the norm in their status of economics, social and political relationships between themselves and their Father’s, husband’s, son’s, family, community and Nation? “For I proclaim the name of the Lord; Ascribe greatness to our God! 20

4. “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He” Deuteronomy 32:3-4 (RSVB) “I will bless her, and indeed I will give you a son by her. Then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples will come from her.” Genesis 17:16 (NASB) “Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Depart, go up from here, you and the people whom you have brought up from the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘To your descendants I will give it.’” Exodus 33:1 (NASB) “Look to Abraham your father And to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; When he was but one I called him, then I blessed him and multiplied him.” Isaiah 51:2 (NASB) “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, (seeded by The Holy Spirit not a male human being) born under the Law,” Galatians 4:4 (NASB) “You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.” Exodus 20:5 (NIV) “So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.” Galatians 4:31 (NASB) “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.” Exodus 20:12 (NASB) “Now these are the ordinances which you are to set before them: ... 4. If his master gives him a wife, and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall belong to her master, and he shall go out alone. Exodus 21:1, 4 (NASB) 21

“If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do, 8. If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master who designated her for himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He does not have authority to sell her to a foreign people because of his unfairness to her. 9. “If he designates her for his son, he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters. 10. If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights. 11. If he will not do these three things for her, then she shall go out for nothing, without payment of money.” Exodus 21:7-11 (NASB) “For the Lord has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,” Says your God.” Isaiah 54:6 (NASB) “If your kinsman, a Hebrew man or woman, is sold to you, then he shall serve you six years, but in the seventh year you shall set him free. 13. When you set him free, you shall not send him away empty-handed. 14. You shall furnish him liberally from your flock and from your threshing floor and from your wine vat; you shall give to him as the Lord your God has blessed you. 15. You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God redeemed you; therefore I command you this today.” Deuteronomy 15:12-15 (NASB) (Compare Exodus 21:1,4 with these scriptures, above the woman has children and has to remain a slave to her master and the husband stays only if he bond slaves himself to his master, then he can remain with his wife and children) “If a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod and he dies at this hand, he shall be punished. 21. “If, however, he she survives a day or two, no vengeance shall be taken; for he she is his property.” Exodus 21:20-21 (NASB) “When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. 20. ‘Everything also on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean, and everything on which she sits shall be unclean. 21. ‘anyone who touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be 22

unclean until evening. 22. ‘Whoever touches anything on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and unclean until evening. 23. ‘whether it be on the bed or on the thing on which she is sitting, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening. 24. ‘If a man actually lies with her so that her menstrual impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean. 25. ‘Now if a woman has a discharge of her blood many days, not at the period of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond that period, all the days of her impure discharge she shall continue as though in her menstrual impurity; she is unclean. 26. ‘Any bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her like her bed at menstruation; and everything on which she sits shall be unclean, like her uncleanness at that time. 27. Likewise, whoever touches them shall be unclean and shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening. 28. ‘When she becomes clean from her discharge, she shall count off for herself seven days; and afterward she will be clean. 29. ‘Then on the eight day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them in to the priest, to the doorway of the tent of meeting. 30. ‘The priest shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement on her behalf before the Lord because of her impure discharge. 31. “Thus you shall keep the sons of Israel separated from their uncleanness, so that they will not die in their uncleanness by their defiling My tabernacle that is among them.” 32. This is the law for the one with a discharge, and for the man who has a seminal emission so that he is unclean by it, 33. and for the woman who is ill because of menstrual impurity, and for the one who has a discharge, whether a male or a female, or a man who lies with an unclean woman.” Leviticus 15:19-33 (NASB) “When I break your staff of bread, ten women will bake your bread in one oven, and they will bring back your bread in rationed amounts, so that you will eat and not be satisfied.” Leviticus 26:26 (NASB) “And Moses said to them, “Have you spared all the women? 16. “Behold, these caused the sons of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, so the plague was among the congregation of the Lord. 17. “Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man intimately. 18. “But all the girls who have not known man intimately, spare for yourselves.” Numbers 31:15-18 (NASB) 23

“When you go out to battle against your enemies, and the Lord your God delivers them into your hands and you take them way captive, 11. and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire for her and should take her as a wife for yourself, 12. then you shall bring her home t your house, and she shall shave her head and trim her nails. 13. “She shall also remove the clothes of her captivity and shall remain in your house, and mourn her father and mother a full month; and after that you may go in to her and be her husband and she shall be your wife. 14. “It shall be, if you are not pleased with her, then you shall let her go wherever she wishes; but you shall certainly not sell her for money, you shall not mistreat her, because you have humbled her. 15. “If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other unloved, and both the loved and the unloved have borne him sons, if the firstborn son belongs to the unloved, 16. then it shall be in the day he wills what he has to his sons, he cannot make the son of the loved the firstborn before the son of the unloved, who is the firstborn. 17. “But he shall acknowledge the firstborn, the son of the unloved, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; to him belongs the right of the firstborn.” Deuteronomy 21:10-17 ”If any man takes a wife and goes in to her and then turns against her, 14. and charges her with shameful deeds and publicly defames her, and says, ‘I took this woman, but when I came near her, I did not find her a virgin,’ 15. then the girl’s father and her mother shall take and bring out the evidence of the girl’s virginity to the elders of the city at the gate.” 16. The girl’s father shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man for a wife, but he turned against her; 17. and behold, her has charged her with shameful deeds, saying,” I did not find your daughter a virgin.” but this is the evidence of my daughter’s virginity.’ And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city. 18. “So the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him, 19. and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give it to the girl’s father, because he publicly demanded a virgin of Israel. And she shall remain his wife; her cannot divorce her all his days. 20. “But if this charge is true, that the girl was not found a virgin, 21. then they shall bring out the girl to the doorway of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death because she has committed an act of folly in Israel by playing the harlot in her father’s house; thus you shall purge the evil from among you. 22. “If a man is found lying with a married woman, then both of them shall die, the man who lay with the woman, and the woman; thus you shall purge the evil from Israel. 23. “If there is a girl 24

who is a virgin engaged to a man, and another man finds her in the city and lies with her, 24. then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death; the girl, because she did not cry out in the city, and the man, because he has violated his neighbor’s wife. Thus you shall purge the evil from among you. 25. ‘But if in the field the man finds the girl who is engaged, and the man forces her and lies with her, then only the man who lies with her shall die. 26. “But you shall do nothing to the girl; there is no sin in the girl worthy of death, for just as a man rises against his neighbor and murders him, so is this case. 27. “When he found her in the field, the engaged girl cried out, but there was no one to save her. 28. “If a man finds a girl who is a virgin, who is not engaged, and seizes her and lies with her and they are discovered, 29. then the man who lay with her shall give to the girl’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall become his wife because he has violated her; her cannot divorce her all his days. 30. “A man shall not take his father’s wife so that he will not uncover his father’s skirt.” Deuteronomy 22:13-30 “When a man takes a wife and marries her, and it happens that she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out from his house, 2. and she leaves his house and goes and becomes another man’s wife, 3. and if the latter husband turns against her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife, 4. then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her again to be his wife, since she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the Lord, and you shall not bring sin on the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance. 5. “When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out with the army nor be charged with any duty; he shall be free at home one year and shall give happiness to his wife whom he has taken.” Deuteronomy 24:1-5 (NASB) “When brothers live together and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the deceased shall not be married outside the family to a strange an. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her and take her to himself as wife and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her. 6. “It shall be that the firstborn whom she bears shall assume the name of his dead brother, so that his name will not be blotted out from Israel. 7. “But if the man does not desire to take his brother’s wife, then his brother’s wife 25

shall go up to the gate to the elders and say,’ My husband’s brother refuses to establish a name for his brother in Israel; he is not willing to perform the duty of a husband’s brother to me.’ Deuteronomy 25:5-10 (NASB)

Chapter 3 The Firstborn Man In His Own Image “who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation- 16. for all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth; the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Colossians 1:15-16 I do not denote the written maleness of the Godhead, as the scriptures teach of the maleness of Yahweh as Father. Therefore, let us read creation of man and women and other scriptures to reveal if there is a total maleness of the Godhead. “And God created the man (Strongs 120 - human being / an individual or the species mankind) in His own image; in the image of God He created him...” Genesis 1:27 “For a man (Strongs 435 individual / male)... because he is the image and glory of God, and woman (Strongs 1135 a woman, wife) is the glory of man.” 1 Corinthians 11:7 “she shall be called Woman (Strongs 802 - woman, wife), for she was taken out of Man (Strongs 120 - human kind / and individual or the species mankind). 24. Therefore, a man (Strongs 376 individual / male) shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh ” Genesis 2:23 “And God said, / let Us / make man (Strongs 120 - human being, species mankind) in Our image, / according to Our likeness; / and let them rule / over the fish of the sea, / and over the birds of the heavens, / and over the cattle, / and over all the earth, / and over all the creepers creeping on the earth. /” Genesis 1:26 IL “And God created the man / in His own image; / in the image of God He created him, / He created them male / and female. 28. And God blessed them; / and God said to them, / Be fruitful (male and female, words in brackets here mine) and multiply, / and fill the earth, / and subdue it, / things creeping on the earth,” Genesis 1:27-28 IL 1. [Strongs 1980] These scriptures above in Genesis 1 are the introductory scriptures to creation. In chapter 2 we see man referred to as mankind was created first in the 27

image of God. Then scripture reveals Eve was formed from the rib of Adam and then it is written of Adam not as mankind or a species but as an individual male. Therefore seeing as Adam was created first in the image of the “us” as in God; to me scripture reveals God as being the masculine. For man/Adam was without a suitable helper to rule with him and help him. He was without an equal partner to share this joint commission to rule, to multiply, to fill the earth, subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, birds of the heavens and living things creeping. God having made man/male first, in His image and then made woman from man’s rib appears to me to be; God and or the “Us” “let us make man in our image” are as male or masculine. To me God is not an androgynous God - a God who possesses both male and female sexual characteristics and parts. Even though the Word does write of His various feminine traits, like nurturing, being the Breasty One, comforting like a mother comforts her son, (Isaiah 66:13), to me that make Him as others have said ‘genderfull’ and not a hermaphrodite or at that Adam as one. Jesus is called the “Rose of Sharon” (Song of Solomon 2:1) and that does not make Him a female or an androgynous God. We know today in Heaven He is as He was and looked on earth with His new resurrected heavenly body (1 Corinthians 15:40) to be our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. God referred to as Father to me is not a metaphor, a figure of speech, a word to help us relate in a personal or intimate way. God to me is a He, the first knowledge of that is in Genesis 2:15-23. And the let US make man in our image, this to me is a masculine firstborn reference to Himself. We see Yahweh willed to first create a male, and then it was not until a time after that a suitable helper was created from a male/Adam who became woman. We know that through Jesus all things were created in Him and Him is now in heaven as a Him. We know through Jesus The Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2). He/Jesus, is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15) and all things consist in Him (Colossians 1:16-17). Therefore to me the trinity appears male. Let us make man in our image. To me, God said, Son and Holy Spirit let us make a human, let the first human be a him, be a male just like our image for we are male. Let’s read below male was created first. “And Jehovah God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden, to work it and to keep it. 16. and Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree in the garden; 17. But of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die. 18. And Jehovah God said, It is not good, that man being alone, I will make a helper suited to him ... 21. 28

And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh underneath. 22. And Jehovah God formed the rib which He had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man. 23. And the man said, this now at last is bone of my bones, and flesh from my flesh. For this shall be call Woman, because this has been taken out of man.” Genesis 2:15-18, 21-23 IL Adam had already been formed a created being, Yahweh did not add to Adam a penis; he already was formed with one. He only took away a rib if this word is the original correct translation, to create a woman. Women were given the womb, with the capacity to carry children, men the penis to seed children. This scripture below clearly writes man is the image and glory of God; woman is the glory only of man, not the image and or the exact photo copy. And Jesus - male is the image of the invisible God. So we have man/Adam the image of God and Jesus/male the image of God as Jesus was in the beginning the Word made flesh. “For truly a man ... being the image and glory of God. But woman is the glory of man-8. for man is not of the woman, but woman of man; 9. for also man was not created through the woman, but woman through the man; ....... 11. however, man is not apart from woman, nor woman apart from man, in the Lord. 12. for as the woman is out of the man, so also the man through the woman; but all things from God.” 1 Corinthians 11:7-9, 11-12 “who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation-16. for all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth; the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17. and He is before all things, and all things consist in Him, 18. And He is the Head of the body, the church; who is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that He be pre-eminent in all things; 19. because all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him, 20. and through Him making peace by the blood of His cross, to reconcile all things to Himself through Him, whether the things on the earth, or the things in the heavens.” Colossians 1:15-20 “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” Genesis 3:16 29

“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28 The image of God to me is the masculine. The characteristic of a male to me is the image of God, who Adam was created the being of a male. Woman, to me is the glory not the image of man. This is why we do not have the same ‘private parts’ or grow hair on our face and chest as does a man because we are not in his image. This logic can be used with man being created in the image of God. So this can determine the spiritual gender of Yahweh. Because, it is written in Genesis 1:27 “...in the image of God he created him. Where it is written, “He created man-mankind/species” “He created them male and female.” This is often interpreted towards the logic as woman being the image of man, when woman looks completely different to man and has a different ‘blueprint’ than man. Discerned that man as in male may not be the exact image of God, and Jesus has left this a mystery that it may not be able to be discerned only assumed. But, we know a scripture taken out of context is just a pretext, and one scripture has to be interpreted by various scriptures to arrive at an interpretation. One cannot make a doctrine from just one word or one scripture alone. To some writers they say, “It does not seem to be detrimental to the authority of Scripture that God is neither male nor female fitting our human gender.” [Authors not referenced] But, in answering is God a male or a female for us to address or is He both, I believe moreover male and it does matter when it comes to doctrine. He may be a gender in His own right, to what is as many say ‘genderfull’ or not categorized as in the sex of a male or female of our understanding. And, Yahweh’s gender may be distinguished in His own terminology know in His own ‘realm or world or heaven’ not as ours, as the living creatures that are around the throne with four faces, six wings are not the norm to our natural realm, world or earth. However I believe He wills us to know Him as The Father who created man in His own image so surely this makes up the totality of His God persona! Some writers say “He” is written for our understanding to fit in with our language. The masculine ‘He’ being a pronoun, as in wisdom is named ‘she’ or Jerusalem is referred to as ‘she’.” But to me Yahweh’s choice was the masculine not the feminine. To me “forever my Word is settled in heaven.” and to me He is He not neither he nor she, but He, a Father. Consider, in the New Jerusalem, will we not see the heads of the twelve tribes being the masculine (Revelation 21:12), and the twelve apostles being the 30

masculine (Revelation 21:14). Consider also, above all Jesus Christ our King is masculine and the only begotten Son and a firstborn male. There is a definite hierarchy structure of the masculine, a definite Kingdom of heaven honoring the Patriarchal and masculine, not Matriarchal and feminine. Recall, the covenants of old were with the fathers (Jeremiah 11:10). The heads of the twelve tribes and the twelve apostles may be the ones who have places of honor as the twenty-four elders around the throne (Revelation 4:4). Or maybe these positions of the twenty-four elders around the throne are for angelic elders and the twelve apostles have the gates and the heads of the twelve tribes the foundations, I am not certain concerning these truths. I have only heard, King David is said to be Prince, Jesus Christ we most definitely know will be King. Consider this precedent Yahweh has set after the image of Himself. He gave Jacob from his four wives, four firstborn sons and eight other sons and only one daughter. To Leah He gave, Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zeblun and one the female Dinah; because she is believed to “have prayed for a female least it bring too much humiliation upon Rachel.” 2. [First Fruits of Zion Torah club page 153] To Leah’s handmaid Zilpah, He gave Gad and Asher. To Rachel He gave Joseph and Benjamin and from her handmaid Bilhah He gave Dan and Naphtali. Yahweh gave only one daughter to Jacob and it is noteworthy to consider with all sons the Word describes something about the meaning of each of their names but there is no comment about Dinah’s name. If Yahweh were both male and female why did He not call women to be numbered amongst the twelve apostles? Why did He give Jacob twelve sons? Yahweh knew that through all eternity they would share in the places of honor in the New Jerusalem, He knew the beginning from the end – “having been foreknown before the foundation of the world” (1 Peter 1:20). I believe Yahweh is masculine - Father, and had the masculine, the Patriarchal in view from before creation (Ephesians 1:4). He had His image in view from the beginning as a Father to remain know as a Father for the now, for the New Jerusalem, for all eternity. Consider Lucifer’s iniquity of his heart was evident in heaven before the foundation of creation as heaven was defiled. Yahweh had a strategy to cleanse the heavens to reconcile heaven He had in view from the beginning of the foundation of the earth for a male, a King progenitor to be the destroyer of Lucifer/Satan. The twelve elders of the tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles will not lose 31

their masculine identity in the New Jerusalem, neither will we; we are just not taken in marriage and to add we will know our father Abraham. Yahweh has made Himself know to be seen and referred to as Father, to be viewed in the masculine, “forever His word is settled in heaven.” the divine order is Patriarchal, “our Father who art in heaven” as the Godhead and Father of His only begotten Son. He is not going to be some androgynous Ruler in the New Jerusalem; I believe that Yahweh is to be attributed to He as in the masculine. No matter how gender-full in His own right as a God He is. To me all scripture is to be taken into account in interpretation not just these isolated words of “And God created the man in His own image ... He created them male and female”, “Let us make man in our image” because man is referred to here as generic. In addition, we are not to read these scriptures as if mankind was formed a created being like a Siamese twin in one body or a split personality of a definite masculine and feminine identity in one person. Neither evident half male and half female, or in the form of looking male in an androgynous or hermaphrodite state with a bi-sexual nature with penis, vagina and breasts, then to form Eve from the feminine side of Adam - this type of mankind for the differentiation of two sexes defies all truth from Genesis to Revelation. I don’t believe we read Matthew 19:4-5 with this singular androgynous being in mind, however it can read this way. “Have ye not read, that He which made [no them in the original, words in brackets here mine] at the beginning, made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife.” Matthew 19:4-5 Consider, woman looks completely different naked than man and when God opened the first Adam up to take a rib, a flank, a side, or a side being the female to form a woman or whatever you believe He used. Did the Word mention he had to form Adam any further or form a penis, or form anything else to complete Adam? No, the Word mentions He only took away not added to His first formation of Adam. Therefore we can assuredly know the first Adam was originally formed with a penis with masculinity. The firstborn was to be seen masculine a photo copy an image of the second Adam - Yeshua firstborn, first fruits, second Adam, the masculine who is the perfect image of God (Colossians 1:15). Today also is not the body of woman the same image of Eve and man the same image of Adam. Down the centuries to the time of Christ did woman’s image change from having a womb that birthed Cain, Able, Enoch, Abraham and Isaac. Woman has remained the same creation to bear children and men the same creation 32

to seed children. I believe Adam had a penis when Yahweh put him to sleep He was created “good”; it was only not good for his state of happiness that he had no partner like the animals the birds and the fish did. So Yahweh formed a partner for him from him and he called her woman for she was taken from him, a man with penis a man called the first Adam to make way for the seed, the second Adam who would bruise Lucifer’s head (Genesis 3:15). It is noteworthy to mention here “It is her seed, not Adam’s, which God said would finally undo what she first caused to be done. Interesting, is it not, that it is the seed of Eve which will take us out of the first Adam and place us in the second Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45-49)! 3. [Murphy 2003:206]

Chapter 4 Jesus Appointed Women Within The Seventy “And after these things the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place, even to where He was about to come.” Luke 10:1 Have you considered that Jesus appointed women within the seventy? Yes, no, not at all? In this chapter I will reveal in scripture that women were of the seventy sent and in these last days are being restored more and more for appointed positions. Women were, and are to be a part of the redemptive plan of Yahweh for the new dispensation of His Church after Law, and the heavens will retain Messiah until the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21) is fulfilled. Restoration of the acceptance of women in all positions as men needs to take place to make way for Messiah’s return. Jesus came to redeem the Jew the displaced Jew those of the lost tribes and the Gentile thus all man and the woman to their rightful places within His Kingdom. This is only one reason why He would have set a precedent for the seventy disciples to consist of both men and women. However there would have been more men than women, and I believe given the introduction of such a truth and because of the culture of the day with women’s status and traditional role’s being what they were in Jewish society He would have lost many religious people to Himself bringing in such a radical change of custom and doctrine. Recall in the time of Jesus the curse of the law and the original curse of men ruling over women was operative, this contributing to women’s inequality in the ministries and or the things of Yahweh, The God of Israel. Curses took away the equality of commission to rule together until Jesus was crucified, buried, raised and ascended to redeem us from the curse and the curses of the law. The curses set up a dominant patriarchal culture, so any immediate change would not make the teaching about the Gospel attractive (Titus 2:10). In other words it would discredit the Gospel by quickly changing all mainstream social custom of the last 4 thousand years being under the curse of the law and the curse that man shall rule over woman. It was not wise to distract the Jews from the Gospel message in losing (1 Peter 3:1) them for Christ with a radical change of 34

custom or doctrine in allowing apostleship, overseeing and leadership to women on any equal, equal basis in God’s Kingdom at that time. This was one reason why Jesus did not reveal this hidden secret, this mystery to His disciples in great depth. The redemptive plan for women to have equal opportunity in the Kingdom of God was not even revealed in depth to Peter. When Jesus said to him “upon this rock I will build my Church” the plans, the specifications and instructions were given to Paul as the “Master Builder” not Peter. It is there in Paul’s epistles that we read of women in identical positions as men, thus building upon the precedent that Jesus set when He sent the seventy to be both men and women. Paul “the master builder” gives specifications for women then and now and for tomorrow. The specifications are for the church today and are His specifications for women in the Kingdom of God. When Jesus was teaching and preaching the Kingdom of God, Rabbinic Judaism and Greek culture was extremely patriarchal. The men had absolute authority and rulership over their wives and daughters and, females were subservenant. But, recall, Jesus came to redeem us from the curses of the law (Galatians 3:13) He became the second or last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45), and the first new man from the dead (Colossians 1:16-20). Annulling the curse of Genesis of men Ruling dominantly over woman, this is not taking their firstborn rights or their headship in marriage but He does require them to “love your wife, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up on its behalf.” (Ephesians 5:25) He brought us back to the original command to come along side of one another to rule over the fish, birds, cattle, all the earth, and the creepers, to both be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth and subdue the earth. But, recall this truth, this time, this rulership is only entrusted unto us of both sexes as co-workers or partners with Him. It is not given to the males only or females only or in our own standing as disciples. This means we as both male and female have been given back this dominion under the directive and power of The Holy Spirit’s will, the Christ within us. Not as a man or as a woman but as the collective body of Christ, a Covenant people, His body as a body of people who belong to the family of Yahweh. He now is no respecter of man/woman, or shows no partiality (Acts 10:34) to which He offers salvation and callings for both genders in His redemptive plan. Recall “… man is not apart from woman, nor woman apart from man, in the Lord” (1 Corinthians 11:11) and or positions of Ministry freeing women to take their place in His redemptive plan for His creation. We know salvation is not about going to heaven, but about living the plan and 35

purpose of one’s individual destiny from Yahweh for advancing the Kingdom of Heaven. If that destiny is Jill be a Pastor or Mary to be an Apostle, or Robyn to be a Deaconess, or Linda to be a Priest, or Helen to be a Teacher, or Ruby to be a stay at home mother or an Intercessor or Catherine a medical Doctor or Teena to be a spiritual commander and prophetess or Katie to be a business woman taking the Kingdom into the business arena then as He wills, He will. As He wills, being the second Adam He will distribute His gifts, His callings, His plan and purpose for advancing the kingdom as He determines “man is not apart from woman, nor woman apart from man, in the Lord” when His works have to be done He has made it clear He will choose both sexes. There is neither male nor female, Jew nor Gentile when it comes to the distribution of gifts, anointing(s) and callings for Kingdom work, it is as He wills, just like tongues (1 Corinthians 12:11). It is heresy and error that robs us as women; it has been heresy, error and works of darkness and with some the male ego that wanted the rule which has robbed us from our rightful positions within the church structure. Yes I acknowledge men willed to honor Yahweh in their understood truth however through their own ignorance and studied negligence by not thoroughly studying the Word of Yahweh this has maimed the church, themselves, their daughters and women to date. It is only in these days we are seeing the move of women, and seeing us restored to our rightful place and as we are seeing this move even in the Anglican Church where women are becoming Ministers, Priests and Bishops. Part of Jesus’ redemptive plan was for women to be restored back to Kingdom position that He intended for them in the beginning with man, bringing them out from under the curse of males and husbands dominantly ruling over them. His plan was to restore women as being seen as neither male nor female in Kingdom matters, but spiritually as one in Himself to fulfill His redemptive plan and purpose through the work of The Spirit. And then to commission them with the same commissioning as men as He willed, for the calls and the gifts are from Yahweh. These calls come without repentance (Romans 11:29) and God is no respecter of mankind (Acts 10:34). However we cannot deny or not take heed to understanding custom, culture and spiritual implications of Motherlessness and Husband’s headship is an establish truth when it comes to matters of the home. Recall, heresy will not inherit the kingdom of God, or in other words if you have a belief that women cannot do what men can do in the Kingdom of God than that is what your life will be and a possibility your daughters. God will honor and watch over His word to perform it, in other words it will be done according to your faith or beliefs, your doctrines if you do not allow Him to teach you. 36

Believe women or yourself as a woman cannot do what men do and that is what you will get, for heresies will not inherit the kingdoms ways or the blessings, they cannot. Your true blessings are clogged or blocked because of your belief/doctrine (Galatians 5:20) of wrong interpretations of scripture. To add again, just as our rule as men and women is under the directive and Lordship of Christ the second Adam through The Holy Spirit so is our callings and our gifts. For we are many members in one body who do not have the same function, but have different gifts according to the grace given to us (Romans 12:48). We are a body in Christ and members in part, and God has placed some men and women in the church; “firstly apostles; secondly prophets; thirdly teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governing then kinds of languages.” (1 Corinthians 12:28) Not all but only some men and women have these mantles. Not all but some men and women are apostles. Not all but some men and women are prophets. Not all but some men and women are teachers. Not all but some men and women do works of power or heal or speak languages or interpret languages/tongues. Because He distributes separately to each as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:27-31, 4-11) as He wills to place women and men to do the works prepared for them. Jesus’ redemptive plan for women could not be made possible until He had lived under Law Himself, enabling women to be set free to take their rightful place within the church structure; also to redeem us from men dominantly ruling over us women because of the curse in Genesis. And to redeem us from all the Mosaic curses of Law He had to fulfill the laws requirements, fulfill prophecy and returning back to The Father having reconciled all things unto Himself, thus having reconciled women unto Himself. Then to make us one new man in the spirit (Ephesians 2:11-22), both male and female being seen as joint-heirs of Christ, and co-heirs of life (Romans 8:17, 1 Peter 3:7), all members in part of the one body Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-31) and all ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18) all as brides of Christ and having raised us all up together and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus, at the right hand of God (Ephesians 2:6) all these blessing were and are not for men only, women are to have the same callings as He wills. Now, I do not denote a Patriarchal Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and it is noteworthy to mention here, Jesus is equal with Yahweh (Philippians 2:6). Nor do I denote our foundations being built on the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20) being male and Jesus Christ Himself-male, the only begotten Son being the foundation (1 Corinthians 3:10-11) and cornerstone’ (Ephesians 2:20). Or male being born first, or Jesus Christ the head over all things to the church, (Ephesians 1:20-23) or husband being the head of the wife or men being the origin of women (1 37

Corinthians 11:3-15). To add, even as Jesus is the second person of the trinity is equal with God (Philippians 2:6), as is The Holy Spirit. We as women being the second created are equal with man, but we all are different members. There is a divine order of things, such as there is in the heavenlies of thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers (Colossians 1:16). In this light, we see Father, Son, Spirit and Man and Woman. Further, when Jesus said if you know me you know the Father, and what I do the Father does, this same principle is to be applied to women, what you see man doing you are to see women doing too. Women do have a place in building upon the foundation of Jesus, Paul and Peter (1 Corinthians 3:10) as members of the body of Christ; because we as women are part of the living stones of the temple of the Godhead (Ephesians 2:21-22), the church that is Christ’s body.

Chapter 5 Paul The Master Builder “…which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations, as it now has been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit, 6. For the nations to be joint-heirs, and of the same body, and sharers of His promise in Christ, through the gospel; 7. Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me, according to the working of His power.” Ephesians 3:5-7 As the dispensational change has taken place of grace where we know no man-generic after the flesh (Colossians 1:25; 2 Corinthians 5:16) in the things of The Lord (1Corinthians 11:11), Paul according to the grace given him has laid down a foundation as the “master builder.” This being for us both male and female to build according to the plans and specifications set out in the Epistles by the breath of God or according to the working of His power (Ephesians 3:7) in and through Paul. Paul confesses and we know there is no other foundation to be laid other than Rabbi Ben Joseph Yeshua - Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11) and upon this Rock His Church is built. Peter given the word upon this rock yet he was not to reveal the mystery of the Church; Jews, Gentiles, male and female in his writings as one in Christ. Peter was not to write either on men and women being fellow heirs of the same body and partakers of His promise in Christ (Ephesians 3:5). Neither was the other eleven given these mysteries to be written, it was committed to Paul to write, teach and preach. It is in Paul’s writing we find the truth of women’s place in the Church when you study these epistles at all angles you will see these mysteries about women’s place and position in the Church and in the body of Christ. When Yahweh created woman for a helpmate He hid a mystery of the Church. Adam is a picture of The Lord Jesus Christ who is the image of the invisible God Yahweh. Yahweh put man asleep and took from his side and formed what Adam called woman, because she was bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh (Genesis 2:23). Now we both as men and women are the church, and members of Jesus body, members of His flesh and of His bone (Ephesians 5:30). Now Paul continues to reveals the mystery, for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. As we woman and man are born again we are all as men and women joined to Jesus as one flesh, His Church, 39

His body, men and women as one flesh. All blessed with all spiritual blessing, all have obtained an inheritance, all being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will (Ephesians 1: 3, 11 see all Ephesians 1). The plan and specifications for the building of the church were “kept secret since the world began” (Romans 16:25), “hid from ages and from generations” (Colossians 1:26), and “in other ages...not made known” (Ephesians 3:5), but now revealed to and through the Apostle Paul in His writings. And in his writing by the breath of Yahweh, we see Paul reveals women as one flesh, bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh, His body the Church who are to have the same positions as men in the Church. Paul indicates a dispensational change has taken place when he says, “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.” 2 Corinthians 5:1 When Jesus told Peter, “upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail” and the keys of the kingdom were given (Matthew 16:13-19). They are not and were not only given to men but also to women. Given, according to The Gospel of Rabbi Yeshua The Christ, not by the gospel of Rabbi Gamaliel, or Rabbi Hillel or Rabbi Eliezer or theologian Calvin or Henry or even Luther but Rabbi Yeshua, The Word made flesh. For whatever Jesus the second Adam permits or forbids in heaven is forbidden or permitted within the Church as His body (Matthew 16:13-19). Therefore if Jesus permitted women in the same positions of ministry as men in the Epistles, than today, women are to be permitted in same positions men have today (Romans 16:1-2; Romans 16:3; 16:7, Acts 21:9; 1 Corinthians 1:11; Colossians 4:15). You will see if you look these scriptures up Paul did permit women in the same ministry positions as the men. He writes, “have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord’s brother do?” (1 Corinthians 9:5). To make mention these names mentioned in the above scriptures would have been some of those who were sent in the seventy, sister does not always mean kin as in blood sister, but Jewish sister from the house of Israel. “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, being a servant of the church in Cenchrea that you may receive her in the Lord, as is worthy of the saints,” Romans 16:1-2 “Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord’s brother do?” 1 Corinthians 9:5 40

Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus Christ the second Adam, the firstborn, permits women to be Apostles, Overseers, Deacons, Priests, Pastors, Reverends, Leaders, Ministers, Prophetesses and Teachers. He is the foundation that we together with males are building His church (Ephesians 2:19-22). And, we are to follow His Word that was given to the master builder Paul as specifications and instructions for both genders to build. We are all being built together into a dwelling-place of God in the Spirit as He directs, or as He wills and according to His wisdom. If He wills 80% male to 20% female, as He wills for the works prepared for us the body of Christ. If He wills 60% males to 40% females it is to be as He wills. It is to be His will not our will. Neither is it our will to be self-appointed women, or self-appointed men. Or is it males place to say “women you do not have a place within the Church” and recall the Church will not be whole or well but ‘sick’ because of the ‘we will’ and the ‘I will.’ In humility men ask Him, “search my heart and know my thoughts my God if there is any wicked way in me and lead me to your way everlasting.” Why do I not like the idea women have opportunity within the Church as we do? Am I closed minded on the doctrine of women to be in equal positions as men within the Church, if so renew me in the spirit of my mind. Awaken my heart and mind my God to your will for women in the last days for your redemptive plan of all mankind.” Let us both build the Kingdom together and go about Kingdom purposes together as He wills. Let us go out together against the kingdom of darkness together not against ‘the brethren.’ Let us go out as He wills, as He allows women to take their rightful places within the hierarchical structure of the Church. If He wills to appoint a woman to the same positions as you, then when the rubber hits the road He is Lord and God. Recall it is He who wills to distribute the gifts and callings as He wills (1 Corinthians 12:11); it is His will for the works He prepares for either gender. We, as both genders are being built together into a dwelling-place, living stones, and the temple of The Living God. Which is the now, in His Kingdom, us female and male being build together, both reigning with Him. Not the Millennial church which will be build upon Jesus as Israel’s Messiah, but the church in this present dispensation is built upon Him the second Adam, firstborn from the dead, as The Glorified Head of the body who is exalted to the right hand of God in heaven with all power and all authority, all rulership. Again with Paul the master builder, “and another buildeth thereon.” (1 Corinthians 3:10) the another buildeth thereon is both male and female partakers in His promises, both as joint-heirs and co-workers with the second Adam both flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone, both under His command for thus and so 41

and to do the works prepared for us individually as gender types. Consider; the one-generic overcoming will sit with Me in My throne “The one overcoming, I will give to him to sit with Me in My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father in His throne.” (Revelation 3:21) And, I will make the one-generic a pillar (Revelation 3:12) in the temple of my God. Also the one [generic] overcoming shall be clothed in white garments and I will not at all blot his [generic] name out of the Book of Life; and I will acknowledge his [generic] name before My Father, and before His angels ... The one who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says to the churches (Revelation 3:5-6) [all words in brackets here mine] To mention humbly, women are called to the exact same positions as the men in the Church as He wills to distribute these calls and positions, women are also called to sit with Him in His throne as overcomers. Even though the balance is more man, women are permitted to be Apostles, Overseers, Deacons, Pastors, Leaders and Ministers of the Gospel, even Priests. Because a position of a Priest is no different than Pastor, Minister or Reverend, Priest is only a denominational name. Jesus Christ has fulfilled the position of Priest, He is The Great High Priest, and so the Levitical Priestly line is no longer necessary. Therefore, a Priest is just a title of a denomination, further we are all considered as the bride of Christ and as Kings and Priests. Yahweh’s callings and promises are not exclusive to male only, but both female and male being His body, His Betrothed, His Bride, His Living Stones, His Body as flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. The enemy has targeted women to rob, kill and destroy. Wounded emotions, broken hearts bring infestation of the demonic. He knows not only can he harm women from bringing forth doctrines and teaching to hinder and not allow women in ministry positions like men, but that it will wound some and bruise others. A wounded spirit or a broken heart grieves the soul brings it into bitterness and pain causing a snow ball effect – sin upon sin upon sin, opening more demonic doors. “Heaviness in a [woman’s – word in brackets here mine] mans heart makes it droop, but a good word makes it glad.” Proverbs 12:25 “A joyful heart makes a good face; but by grief of heart the spirit is stricken.” Proverbs 15:1 “A cheerful heart makes good healing; but a stricken spirit dries the bone.” Proverbs 17:22 “The spirit of a [woman – word in brackets here mind] man will nourish [her – word in brackets here mine] his sickness, but who can bear a wounded spirit? Proverbs 18:1 42

Chapter 6 Women In Ministry Positions “After leaving the prison they went to Lydia’s home; and when they had seen and encouraged the brothers and sisters there, they departed.” Acts 16:40 NRSV “Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.” Colossians 4:15 NRSV

When you view the Biblical condition of women it hits a few nerves. Even when we consider the cultural condition of Rabbinic Judaism it also seems unjust, and most definitely was in many teachings. Praise Yahweh, we see Jesus in every encounter with women releasing them from such stereotypes, racial prejudices and doctrines and even His own laws. When He spoke to the woman at the well, He dispelled rabbinic tradition to replace it with the truth of His Rabbinic teachings that were easy and light (Mathew 11:30) that all women could be spoken to in public. This woman, not only a woman, but a Samaritan woman (John 4:27) was not to be spoken to under some schools of rabbinic teachings. By Jewish tradition they did not even speak to men Samaritans or even enter their city let alone speak to the women or any women in public places. So we see Rabbi Jesus speaking to her in the open where other men and women may see Him and even talking The Word and doctrine with her. She was even His special evangelist or witness to her own city and many Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of the woman’s testimony” (John 4:39). Jesus broke traditional Rabbinic thought and customs by His lessons He gave the disciples, the Jew and the Gentile and us. Even when the woman hemorrhaging for twelve years touched Him, He did not rebuke her for touching Him or not talk to her in public. In the Law of Moses if a woman with an issue of blood touched anyone they were considered unclean and had to go through ritual cleansing (Leviticus 15:27). This woman was ritually unclean all the time and rendered unclean any man/woman whom she touched. She would not of felt significant at all under the 43

Mosaic Law and under such rabbinic customs about women, or being a woman at the best of times. But Jesus did not belittle her but said “take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you (Matthew 9:22). This woman would have also thought before she touched Him He would become unclean. Knowing He was The Messiah who would come with healing in His wings so she touched the tassel or tzitziyot of His tallit or prayer shawl. Jewish culture understood the prayer shawl as being symbolic of wings, so she has received the healing from His wings. This was another sign from Yahweh in the midst of the Jews witnessing He was Messiah with healing in His wings, fulfilling prophecy (Malachi 4:2). So we see Jesus bringing in this new dispensation to release all women to not be considered unclean and not to go through ritual cleansing for childbirth or if they touched men, or if another man or another woman touched them because they had any type of issue of blood. There was no need for women to go through ritual cleansing either. For recall, He did not tell her to segregate herself for seven days and then to make expiation by sacrificing two pigeons at the temple (Leviticus 15:28-30), but “take heart, daughter...” Nor did He go through any ritual cleansing Himself, He went on to raise the ruler’s - ‘significant’ daughter from the dead (Matthew 9:23). He actually emancipated women that day, honored them! Jesus was again revealing His yoke and burden (Matthew 11:30) of the significant, worth and value of women. Revealing He was bringing women into this dispensation in the New Eternal Blood Covenant as daughters, to be born again of The Spirit to become new creatures in Himself, flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. And for them to be members of His body for works prepared for them; and again bringing women up from their servile, second-class positions and also before men restoring woman’s respect, and giving woman back their self respect. Jesus’ Rabbinic teachings were the foundations in changing the custom and cultural view of women. He brought correct doctrines about women, for His yoke was easy and His burden light. A Rabbi’s teachings were his burdens and the lifestyle to those teachings was the yoke. He taught the Kingdoms way of lifestyle for woman, not the way taught that was full of cultural socialization and heresy and error taught by most schools of sexist Rabbinic Judaism. Recall He said “you have heard that it was said to the ancients: “Do not commit adultery”. But I Rabbi Yeshua say to you, “Everyone looking at a women to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:2728). When Jesus delivered the woman caught in adultery. (John 8:3-11) She was by law to be stoned to death, as was the male (Leviticus 20:10) who was caught 44

with her in the act. There we see the condition of woman again in first century Judaism that they had released the adulterer and brought only the adulteress to be stoned to death. Jesus asked only the sinless males to stone the woman, for they all held their own rabbinic traditional beliefs of the interpretation of the law. But this time they stood before Rabbi Yeshua Ben Joseph of Nazareth, the Word Himself who was flesh. Who would of revealed to the men their errors in their Rabbinic beliefs revealing they were just as much adulterers as she was and would they like to be stoned to death themselves for they had broken the trueness of the law by their divorcing women because they did not cook well, or they had found another more prettier and the way they look at women to lust after them was adultery in itself. Jesus revealed also when not condemning this woman that the penalty of instant death and instant hell for adultery was going to be totally inoperative for the New Eternal Blood Covenant. For Grace was to come forth and mercy, mercy for a second chance and another chance and another chance as His Spirit would bring to death iniquity (Romans 8:13), would sanctify the soul caught in bondage of a sin structure. Christ would take the penalty of death upon Himself for the Eternal Blood Covenant and pour forth the provision of Grace that gives all who believe His Holy Spirit not just a select few and not just for a season but a sealing until death. So He freed woman that day from being stoned to death and added to the law of do not commit adultery, of, do not even lust in your heart after any woman if you do and are married you have committed adultery. This dispelling the rabbinic teaching of you can marry another woman if you find one prettier than the wife you have, or for her not cooking meals right and the other ordinances they had arrived at from their interpretation of The Law. Again giving women value and worth as persons and freeing women of low self-esteem and low self-respect and status and insecurity. He reveals to woman you are as good as a male you are acceptable. Jesus is again, dispelling rabbinic customs of double standards in divorcing women. He said to them “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?” (Matthew 19:3) then reminds them of the original creation of man and woman being one flesh to be equal as one. He tells them if anyone divorces his wife except for marital unfaithfulness and marries another woman he commits adultery (Matthew 5:32) – how many with stones that day were guilty themselves of adultery. Jesus again renews their minds about woman’s value and worth and their disobedience and double standards to the Torah, the laws of God and the error they were under of their Rabbi’s. For men in some Rabbinic schools of thought thought 45

of themselves as persons and women as property to be used or disposed of at their pleasure. And women as a womb and a pair of breasts to bear children and to cook clean and keep house for them. But Jesus dispelled this often as we have seen, giving women back their value before man in public and by His teachings as ‘The Rabbi of Rabbi’s. Recall when the woman cried out “happy the womb that carried you and the breasts that suckled you!” (Luke 11:27) He did not agree but immediately redefines blessedness and does not reduce woman to a womb and a pair of breasts, a wife and mother; “Rather, blessed are they including women that hear the word of God, and keep it” (Luke 11:28). Blessed are those who receive women in leadership, authority and ministry! He also reveals biology is not destiny; rather spiritual commitment is destiny in obeying His Word. And He has taught much and revealed much and in the books following the Gospels through Paul the “master builders” letters. Jesus reveals much about how women are to be treated and viewed and to have positions of power and authority, ministry, gifts and callings within the church the same as men as the body of Himself. Jesus taught greatness was not in terms of biology but in terms of humility. Becoming like a little child (Matthew 18:1-5) and servanthood (Luke 22:26), and whoever obeys, does and teaches His commandments (Matthew 5:19) is called great in the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus teaches mutual submission and mutual service with dominance and submission being the world’s ways not His ways. And He reveals Himself being the Messiah, God in the flesh among us as a servant giving up His life, even unto death in serving. Jesus is teaching to all of us whoever wants to become great must be someone’s servant, and whoever wants to be first must be someone’s slave. Just as He did, He did not come to be served, but to serve. He also came to die to self and give His life as a ransom for both men and women. (Matthew 20:26-28) Now lets look at women of The Bible, first Mary, who birthed Jesus. She is recorded in Church historical archaeological writings according to author Ann Johnson as being a disciple of Hillel and a disciple of her Son Jesus and a disciple of the Disciples. 1. [Johnson, 1987:10] The early Roman Church managed to keep hidden much writings because of the corruption and power of heresy of male dominance. They kept copies of original writings, accounts written by women that were not chosen to go into The Bible and works of many different women for power and political reasons. It is not unbelievable that Mary was a disciple and a teacher because “Women names appear along with men’s as leaders and members of ancient synagogues” 2. 46

[Johnson, 1991:15] and, are also recorded in some Jewish records as being Rabbi’s and having teacher and leadership roles within some synagogues. We know from Old Testament Scripture women were anointed by God to be Prophetess’s. In Exodus we see Miriam, Moses and Aaron’s sister a Prophetess and a worshipper. Miriam was also seen as a leader in those days when God brought the Hebrews out of Egypt. Here we see the Sovereignty of God in this Covenant to appoint a woman as a leader as pre The Cross of Christ. Today women are and will be given the same positions as men because of the Cross. Under the decision or will of God because it is Eternal Blood Covenant that women should be in the same positions as the men. However, it will not be a rare appointed work, but this Covenant allows women to take equal positions as the men only as He wills to appoint or as He calls them to take that position. “And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.” Exodus 15:20 “For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron and Miriam.” Micah 6:4 Deborah was another prophetess; judge, anointed with a Spirit of Judgment. Huldah was another prophetess, and who has gates named after her as ‘The gates of Huldah’ “And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time. 5. And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Beth-el in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.” Judges 4:4-5 “So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.” 2 Kings 22:14 In New Testament Anna was a prophetess, however still under the sacrificial Law of Moses as was the above-mentioned women. Prophets and Prophetess’s were people who spoke for God. They all spoke in the authority of The Holy Spirit, proclaiming God’s word not their own but in utterance of The Holy Spirit. The main role of any prophet or prophetess was to speak God’s word for the purpose of teaching, reproving, correcting, and training in righteousness. They were God’s messengers (Isaiah. 44:26; Haggai. 1:13), servants of God (Amos 3:7) and 47

shepherds (Zechariah. 11:4, 7 Jeremiah. 17:16) and watchmen (Isaiah. 62:6), for, and to His people or in today’s terms, to His Church, or His body, either Jew or Gentile male or female. Noah was a prophet and a preacher of righteousness (2 Peter 2:5) Abraham was a prophet and a preacher of The One True God and an evangelist who put his tents on the caravan trails to tell people of Yahweh the True and Living God (Genesis 20:7). Isaac was (Psalm 105:9, 14-15) and his grandson Jacob (Genesis 49). Moses was the greatest prophet until John The Baptist (Luke 1:13-16), both these men taught and preached about scripture. Joshua took on Moses’ role as prophet (Deuteronomy 34:9; Joshua. 1:1, 5) and after Joshua many other prophets came. Prophets or prophetess’s are not Pastors, Reverends, Ministers or Priests who take on routine works shepherding the congregation. However Pastors, Reverends, Ministers and Priests can prophesy but it is not their mantle. But because Prophets and Prophetess do preach and teach on The Kingdom of God, and as we know speak in utterance and or are moved along by The Holy Spirit’s impression to speak to the body, the church, this does not give them a mantle of Pastor, Reverend, Minister or Priest. For Jesus calls some Apostles, some Prophets, some Teachers and so on. Now lets read of Anna a prophetess who is still under the sacrificial Covenant of the Law. “And there was on Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher: she was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37. And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.” Luke 2:36-37 Scripture reveals that Women went with Jesus throughout every city and village also learning as disciples from their Teacher, their Rabbi Yeshua Bar Joseph of Nazereth. Recall Mary Magdalene His disciple called Jesus Rabbi, He did and would have dispelled the error to some of not letting women learn at synagogue, or at the feet of a Rabbi or to become Rabbi’s. Recall also it was culture for Jews to learn at the feet of Rabbi’s at Synagogue and then to become Rabbi’s themselves so thus it reveals Mary of Magdala was a disciple of Rabbi Jesus. Recall synagogue was a number of 10 or more people who mostly met in houses, they did not meet at Solomon’s Temple, and the Temple was a different place. We know by the scriptures there was built a physical synagogue by a Roman Centurion who feared Yahweh and loved Israel and the Jews. However synagogue to a Jew meant a group of ten or more people who met in a house to study, learn and become. 48

“And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him. 2. And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3. And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.” Luke 8:1-3 Women were given The Holy Spirit in the upper room with the twelve disciples. Some of these women would have been and then become disciples. They continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, even Mary the mother of Jesus was there that day of feast. Those women would have been there of those mentioned above, disciples of Jesus and others not mentioned. Recall Mary who sat at Jesus feet as does all disciples to listen to Him teach, and remember Martha complained. Recall this promise. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. .... 16. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18. And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: (See Acts chapter1) Acts 2:1, 16-18 We see Mary who sits at Jesus feet as a disciple and or as all disciples do before their Rabbi’s. And recall, when Rabbi’s taught they sat down not stood up. In Jewish understanding to sit at someone’s feet was to learn from him or her as his or her disciple, so this we read of Mary being a disciple. “... And a certain woman, Martha by name received Him into her house. 39. And she had a sister being called Mary, who also was sitting alongside, at the feet of Jesus, and heard His word. 40. But Martha was distracted about much serving. And coming on she said, Lord, is it not a care to you that my sister left me alone to serve? Then tell her that she should help me. 41. But answering Jesus said to her, Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things. 42. But there is need of only one; and Mary chose the good part, which shall not be taken from her.” Luke 10:38-42 Jesus here is affirming, affirming women to sit at the feet of a Rabbi’s releasing them from rabbinic custom of serving the men. And releasing women who 49

have been taught not to learn the whole Word of God or sit at the feet of Rabbi’s or even hold Torah. Martha we see still had her stereotypical female attitude of serving and serving males, the attitude that woman must serve rather than learn. So we also see Jesus is freeing up Martha, that life is not all household chores and serving, but study and learning the Word of God is the good part. Jesus may well of served them all after His teaching, it certainly is a possibility; recall He cooked the Disciples fish (John 21:9-14)! Recall the prejudices of Rabbinic Judaism I’ve written on? Jesus had a lot of renewing of the mind to do, to re teach men’s understanding of the Kingdom that was on hand. He had to introduce the Kingdoms ways of women’s real status and callings for the New Eternal Blood Covenant to come. He had to lay the foundations for Peter, whom He said “upon this rock I will build my Church.” But it was for Paul whom He gave the specifications for His Church to be built upon as the master builder, revealing women in ministry positions with male and female instructions and for another – man or woman to build upon (1 Corinthians 3:1011). Lets look at what Paul the master builder said about women, firstly Phoebe; she is written as a servant of the church in Cenchrea, a small seaport town adjoining to Corinth. She is a servant of the Church; she has a position other than being just a member of the Church. Phoebe would have been a disciple learned of the Word of Yahweh. Why, because traditionally no person could take any servant, teacher or other position of authority unless they had learnt themselves at the feet of a Rabbi. “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea;” Romans 16:1 The Strongs concordance of the Bible reference 1249 of servant is; diakonos, dee-ak-on-os; from diako (to run on errands; comp.1377) an attendant, i.e. (gen) a waiter (at table or in other menial duties); spec. a Chr. teacher and pastor (techn. a deacon or deaconess): - deacon, minister, servant.” 3. [Strong, 1986:27] Therefore is evident Paul’s specification for the Church in this dispensation is for women to be a deaconess as is for men. Further you will read in this study women were apostles! When you consider John Knox the Scotsman who translated the Bible - Knox version, he did women and the church and God’s redemptive plan and purpose a lot of ‘damage.’ What he did was not for advancing the Kingdom of God, or for bringing down strongholds. He unknowingly sided with the enemy, partnered him 50

to give the adversary much ground. Ego or gender cannot rule when it comes to the plans and purposes of God. Further what you sow you will reap. His generations to follow birthed women that could of been ‘great’ only he reaped what he sowed, he blocked his women out of ministry, out of Kingdom purposes, out of the very reason we all serve Him as His body. Consider this thought; to a thousand generations I promise callings for your daughters, wives and sisters! Names that will be seen and heard, names that will be remembered, if you will only get off ‘your’ many thrones, and reassess your theological views. Lets look at Priscillia, wife of Aquila who was Paul’s helper (s) in Christ Jesus. Again we see women in an anointed position other than being just a member of the congregation. She has a position of authority under Paul. When you read the scriptures below of Euodias and Syntyche they helped Paul tell the Good News to others, tell and or teach men. Priscillia a woman would of helped Paul in the same way. Pricilla is recorded by writers to of been known by the early church as a teacher of teachers. Because both Aquila and Pricillia gave Apollos, who as we know from Acts 18:24-28 and who we know was a Jew, a man learned in the Scriptures. We know he only had an understanding of the baptism of John. It was then Apollos learnt from Priscillia and Aquilla in The Holy Spirit and went with power proclaiming that Jesus was Messiah and thereafter the early church called Pricilla “a teacher of teachers.” Further by custom the person who has greater recognition was recorded first as we see here Priscillia comes before Aquila; “I commend unto you Phoebe our sister, which is a servant of the Church which is at Cenchrea: ... Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus” Romans 16:1-3 What does Paul write on the two women Euodias and Syntyche; they worked side by side with Paul “telling the Good News to others.” So we see they were preaching and teaching along side him. Paul is revealing women can preach and teach the good news to others, teach men, have authority over men. Further these women may well of been some of those not mentioned who were like those that were “among the Apostles” (Romans 16:7) for they worked side by side with Paul telling the good news. Recall you have to teach to tell, you have to teach to proclaim, you have to bring forth scriptures and interpretation to tell the good news. “And now I want to plead with those two dear women, Euodias and Syntyche. Please, please, with the Lord’s help, quarrel no more-be 51

friends again. 3. And I ask you, my true teammate, to help these women, for they worked side by side with me in telling the Good News to others: and they worked with Clement, too, and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are written in the Book of Life.” Philippians 4:2-3 CJB “I beseech Euodias, and besech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. 3. And I entreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow laborers, whose names are in the book of life.” Philippians 4:2-3 KJ This version King James reads very different from The Complete Jewish Bible and other versions. Read the KJ version again, when reading verse 3 “help those women” it appears as if that statement is not referring to the names mentioned in verse 2, but as some other women, leaving it open to read that the names maybe masculine and the women are someone else. It is understandable given versions are translations of translations. For example in Mark it is written Gadarenes, in Matthew of that same account it is written as Gergesenes. When these two towns are different geographical positions. Gergesa is coastal, on the Sea of Galilee and Gadara is way inland. So we see the translators here are incorrect in their translation of a translation. Keep this in mind, the translations we have today do not mean they are 100% accurate – Gergesa as opposed to Gadara is a great example. To bring to your remembrance again, the name Lord, Jesus, and Jesus Christ is deleted in many modern Bible translations. “Lord 39 places, the name Jesus 87 places and Jesus as Christ 52 places.” 4. [Cited 8th August, 2011] This is also true for the word blood it has been deleted in many versions. Translators usage of punctuation, prefixes (a, an, ex, all) adverbs (er, est) adjectives (ly) pronouns (that which), suffix’s, synonyms (a word having approximately the same meaning and use as another), the word the used with adverbial force, tenses of verbs and so on alters in some way the meanings of the sentence and or the whole paragraph and chapter. When you view the language spoken in and written in Wiclif – 1380, Tyndale 1534, Cranmer 1539, Geneva 1557, Rheims 1582 and Authorised 1611 and you will see how translation has changed to fit current English usage and spelling which has in many ways altered translation meanings of a scripture(s). View as many different versions of Romans 16:12 and in all this light can you see the word her, she, woman, women and references to women altered and deleted many times in early versions? Plus because it was not the theology the translators in those eras wanted to construct, just like the theologian John Knox, (not 52

Ronald Knox) his version ‘Knox Version’! We see this truth when it is written of Nympha some versions refer to her as a woman, some refer to her as a him adding an s. Nympha as a woman is running the local congregation that meets for services in her home, possibly the leader and or Minister/Pastor of the church within her house. “Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.” Colossians 4:15 K.J “Give our greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and Nympha and the congregation at her house.” Colossians 4:15 NEB “Greet the brethren at Laodicea, and Nymphas, with the church that is in his household.” Colossians 4:15 Knox Version “Give my greetings to the brothers at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.” Colossians 4:15 NIV “Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church in his house.” Colossians 4:15 Interlinear Bible “Give my greetings to the brothers in Laodicea, also to Nympha and the congregation that meets in her home.” Colossians 4:15 Complete Jewish Bible To add here, women were not accepted as witnesses in a court of law in first century Jewish culture it was entrusted only to men. When Jesus broke all stereotypes and revealed Himself to Mary Magdalene as a first witness and told her to go unto His brothers and tell them He was returning to “my Father and your Father to my God and your God.” (John 20:17) He was again teaching a new lesson to men about the personhood and ministry of women and the honor and respect for women. This is such a foundational stone for women being significant in His redemptive plans and purposes. He could have chosen a man to appear first too, but He did not, therefore He is saying something loud and clear in that era and for us as women today. It’s such a pivotal introduction of recognition, a platform for acceptance into a place of authority in the work of the Kingdom. I want to reveal again in this account how translators may not of given honor to a woman as the first witness to Jesus resurrection (1 Corinthians 15: 4-8). I do not believe Paul was being sensitive to the cultural tradition of his audience, as women were not accepted as a witness. Recall his thorn in the flesh a demon would hit him hard for pride – pride loves to teach heresy error, legalism, tradition, oral law, and false rabbinical interpretations. Moreover, I believe the translator’s translation has deleted woman to maintain the insignificance of women and to keep 53

women out of ministry and or equal opportunity within the Church structure. Verses mistranslated color the minds of translators down the centuries rendering incorrect the whole meaning of the passage. But if you seek you will find and if you ask it shall be given to you, truth will reveal truth. The very net the enemy hides, catches himself because he has missed many a time changing other scriptures context to try and misconstrued the whole interpretation using other scriptures. “and that He was buried; and that He has been raised the third day, according to the Scriptures; 5. and that He was seen by Peter, then to the Twelve. 6. Then He was seen by over five hundred brothers at once, of whom the most remain until now, but some also fell asleep. 7. Then He was seen by James; then by all the apostles; 8. and last of all even as if to one born out of time, He was also seen by me.” 1 Corinthians 15:4-8 As you read there is not one mention of a woman or Mary Magdalene first, I do not believe values and tradition were operative. But I’d say moreover, translators did not want to construct in their theology women in equal position as men. Paul was given a thorn in the flesh (2 Corinthians 12:6-10), a messenger of Satan to hit him hard every time he walked in the flesh. And or went the way of legalism and wrong teachings from his schooling in rabbinic thought under Gamiel. A strong legalist named Hillel taught Gamiel, many of the teachings were steeped in heresy and error. It is in this context what scripture means when it refers to Paul being buffeted by a messenger when he walked in the flesh (Galatians 3:3 “perfect yourself in the flesh”) “a thorn was given me in the flesh”, teachings of the flesh. Besides the abundance of revelations given to him he was brought up and schooled in a house of ‘Pride’ “and put no confidence in the flesh. Though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If any man thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law a Pharisee, as to zeal a persecutor of the church, as to righteousness under the law blameless.” (Philippians 3:3-6 RSV) “I am a Jew, born at Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, educated according to the strict manner of the law of our fathers, being zealous for God as you all are this day.” (Acts 22:3) Gamiel was not sealed with The Holy Ghost, or have his teaching or theology been given to us in the mainstream to date down the centuries. He would have had quite a nest of religious and legalistic spirits (“doctrinal error, doctrinal obsession, doctrines false, ritualism, formalism, legalism, religiosity, judgment, idolatry, Philtygo, Orion, 54

Python, Pride and …”) 5. [Worley, 20:1983] Walking in the flesh was perfection by flesh in this context, to walk by works of the law, (Galatians 3:1-3) to walk by fulfilled laws, and in rabbinic traditions that were heresy and error. When he talked, walked by works and in the false teachings of the Rabbi(s) he had sat under and lived as a lifestyle, the messenger would be commanded to buffet him by The Holy Spirit. Paul was given ‘the’ great call so he had to teach accurately the things of the Lord. Teaching works, perfection by the flesh and false teachings could not be allowed to be passed on, hence a messenger of Satan would buffet him - hit him hard when he went back to these ways he was so accustomed to, the ways mixed with erroneous teachings that he learnt and the ways of righteousness by works. Works had been fulfilled in Christ, He kept the law perfectly to justify us and taught us perfectly as Rabbi Yesuha “you have heard it said, but I say...” And we understand to keep Paul from becoming prideful because of this great call on his life his thorn; the messenger of Satan would buffet him. How could Jesus allow him to teach in mixture when he was establishing the church, the master builder of this dispensation of New Eternal Blood Covenant? He had to use something greater than himself - to bring him down. Now below is the same as the account of Nympha above that the translators again do not reveal that women can be in equal positions as men. You can see how translation and translators can change the context and the history of women, their callings, their equality in the church structure and the plan and purposes of Christ. So can men today when they believe their theology is men ‘rule’ or men are the only ones to have the positions of “authority” and ‘leadership’ and ‘women cannot teach men’ in the Church. Jesus had no ego problems, He had no objections to show Himself in tears, or in washing His servants feet, or cooking or sharing Kingdom works with women, or teaching them or taking them on His journeys. Neither did Paul (1 Corinthians 9:16 “have we not the authority to lead about a sister/kinsman, a wife as the rest of the apostles also). Is it that we become ‘Christ like’ or is it we become ‘Zeus like’? Yes, Christ like. It is written of Junia below as an apostle. It is said, in the thirteenth century, translators changed this name to Junias and the context of the scripture to make it seem masculine. But, Junia is believed to be a woman Apostle with Paul the Apostle, one of those who he mentions as “fellow-workers” “laboring in the Lord” (Romans 16:3-5, Romans 16:3, 1 Corinthians 16:16, 19, Colossians 4:11, Philemon 1:1) Recall no person according to tradition could be given any position of 55

authority unless they had learnt themselves according to Jewish custom, culture and tradition or at the feet of a Rabbi. So Junia as well as Priscilla, Nympha, Chole, Phoebe, Euodia and Syntyche, Tryphena, Tryphosa and Persis would have known Torah, The Writings and the books of The Prophets. Junia, she would have learnt from within her household and from a Rabbi who allowed women to be taught Torah. Further Yahweh would have pre-destined her to be raised up to this position of Apostle before her birth. Ensured her life was geared to learn Torah and The Prophets in a greater measure than other women. He sure did ensure Rebekah to have twins Esau and Jacob and Jacob to have twelve sons, Deborah to be Deborah the Judge, Huldah to be Huldah the Prophetess and Moses sister Miriam to be a Leader and Prophetess. “Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen and my fellow prisioners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.” Romans 16:7 King James “Then there are Andronicus and Junias, my relatives who were in prision with me. They are respected by the apostles, and became Christians before I did. Please give them my greetings.” Romans 16:7 Living Bible “to those outstanding apostles Andronicus and Junias, my compatriots and fellow prisioners who became Christians before me;” Romans 16:7 The Jerusalem Bible “My greetings to Andronicus and Junias, kinsmen and fellow prisioners of mine, who have won repute among the apostles that were in Christ’s service before me.” Romans 16:7 Knox Version “A warm greeting, too, for Andronicus and Junias my fellow countrymen and fellow-prisioners; they are outstanding men amoung the messengers and were Christians before I was.” Romans 16:7 The New Testament Modern English “Greet Andronicus and Junias my fellow-countrymen and comrades in captivity. They are eminent among the apostles, and they were Christians before I was.” Romans 16:7 The New English Bible “Greet Andronicus and Junias, my relatives who have been in prison with me. They are outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was.” Romans 16:7 New International Version “Greetings also to Andronicus and Junias, fellow-Jews who were in prison with me; they are well known among the apostles, and they 56

became Christians before I did.”

Romans 16:7 Good News Bible

Each Version writes differently, some read they were apostles some read they are not. I wrote this same scripture from different versions to reveal again as in Nympha that a scripture can be written way out of context by the translator, changing history, and as we see changing the history of women. Again as in Junia who was a woman, and her name was changed and the wording changed to read in the masculine, thus, a precedent to argue women out of ministry positions of apostles. A strategy long foreseen by Antichrist for the centuries to come to maintain women hatred and women ‘suppression’ and oppression within the Church and to add within the world structures. Antichrist is the religious principality that fights against the Gospel. It is this religious stronghold of heresy, error and false teachings that has kept and keeps women in Churches from taking the same positions within the Church as men. Men when you agree that women should not have the same positions within the church as men, you side and marry up with Anti-Christ. Your teachings maintain women hatred, suppression and oppression within the Church. Antichrist is your enemy, he is Anti Christ, he is Anti, and he is against the Gospel plans and purposes for Jesus redemptive plans and purposes. Anti-Christ also carries the meaning of another gospel, yet still teaching Christ but anti the real truth. I want to add here, Eusebius records Stephen being stoned, James son of Zebedee and the brother John being beheaded. And James the brother of Jesus thrown off a ledge then stoned, then clubbed to death. He writes, the harassment of the others was in innumerable ways and they were driven from the land of Judea. 6. Against such a background from Jews, Romans and Gentiles within the Nation Israel you can see their reluctance to embrace the “narrow way”. Consider then, their reluctance to put and embrace women in Rabbinic, discipleship, apostolic ship or any Church position, this would have been a greater reluctance. So can you now envisage as writers have mentioned “a fragile Gospel environment,” and “women in a fragile Gospel environment.” We can see their struggle to stand in truth and to bring truth to heal the wounds of many a woman under the curse and the false teachings within Rabbinic Judaism that gave woman no equality, no value worth or significance. Consider this, Jerusalem for a time was blotted out from the nations as Hadrian titled it Aelia Capitolina and replaced the name Judah or Land of Israel with Palestine for the Roman goddess Palestra, which is still named Palestine today. So not only were women, the apostles and disciples subject to antichrist but also the land of Israel and Jerusalem the Holy city of Yahweh were, and still are. 57

Judah today is still named Palestine after the goddess Palestra and antichrist still wills to push Israel into the sea so she has no land and to be no longer a Nation. It is noteworthy here also that when Paul was writing his epistles the early church as a whole had much strife and many problems. Church members from Israel to Asia Minor of Jew and Gentile held false doctrines and behaved accordingly to their erroneous doctrines. Heresy was rife and many false teachers male and female opposed the gospel message within and without the Church in Asia Minor. Paul writes his epistles to these to instruct them how to rightly divide the Word of Yahweh. How to, deal with the strife the behavior the error the heresies and the false teachings from both male and female teachers. Also in Asia Minor we are not looking at the church being purely Jews from the Diaspora who have just rabbinic trained backgrounds. But the churches we know had new convert’s from pagan worship as well as Jews who held different beliefs or theologies from the multiplicity of religions and deities they were accustomed too. Now back to translation and some more food for thought. How many times have you heard someone say “I believe we are to take the scriptures as black and white as exactly as they read” Consider this, some translations do not mean what they read in black and white. Consider the words “fellow prisoners.” Is it to be taken literally of Paul as a prisoner in a prison? Or is it to be taken as a prisoner of Christ Jesus. This is why we have to study to know the will of Yahweh, and study to know the doctrine. “Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow worker,” Philemon 1:1 “Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note amoung the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.” Romans 16:7 Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of the elect of God and full knowledge of the truth according to godliness.” Titus 1:1 Lets read again, how in some versions the wording is ambiguous, left open, to more than one interpretation. “Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labor in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which labored much in the Lord.” Romans 16:12 KJ “Greet Tryphena and Tryphosa, those laboring in the Lord. Greet Persis the beloved, who has labored in many things in the Lord.” Romans 16:12 IL Interlinear Hebrew/Greek/English In this scripture the first two names are women as is the third; now you can 58

see how some translators do not want to reveal women. Or women being in positions of authority over others in the early church or in positions that men had in the foundational days of the early house Churches. Paul also reveals, that Persis a woman, labored much with him and in many things. In the Living Bible it is written “The Lord’s workers”. The Good News reveals those “who work in the Lord’s service”. The Revised Standard Bible reveals these are “those workers in The Lord”. Knox Version writes of Persis as “she has been long in the Lord’s service.” The New Testement In Modern English writes these “who toil in the Lord’s service.” The Amplified writes as “those workers in the Lord”. This translation of The Complete Jewish Bible reveals these names are all women, as does NIV and CEV. “Greet Tryphaena and Tryphosa, women who are working hard for the Lord. Greet my dear friend Persis, another woman who has done a lot of hard work for the Lord.” Romans 16:12 Complete Jewish Bible In 1 Thessalonians 5:12 it is written of those which labor in the Lord as being in leadership. So the women in Romans 16:12 would of had leadership roles. “We ask you, brothers, to respect those who are working hard amoung you, those who are guiding you in the Lord and confronting you in order to help you change.” 1 Thessalonians 5:12 The Complete Jewish Bible “And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;” 1 Thessalonians 5:12 KJ Therefore, we read these women Tryphaena, Tryphosa and Persis were in Leadership positions, positions of authority and consider, not noted with having partners and or husbands positions to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord.” If they had husband they were not by Paul to be mentioned with those who were in the Lord’s service over others of the congregations of house churches. So we have read that women were given positions of authority. They were given positions of prophetess who preached and taught. Women were disciples of Jesus. Women were Apostles. Women were deaconesses. Women preached the 59

Good News. Women were given positions over others within the house Church/congregation. And women who were not married were given position within the Church; women did teach men and have authority over them. According to Yahweh’s personal call for a woman she could be released from being the keeper of the home only (Titus 2:5 KJ). And if you consider Lydia of Acts 16, she led the Church at Philippi as recorded by the Church Historian Eusubius 6. [Eusebius, :2001] Therefore women did have roles the same as men in the Church. Women were not to be bound to be keepers of the house only - “thou shalt not permit any woman to be partakers of the calling within the church, women shall be home keepers and bear children only” this belief is studied negligence, studied ignorance, studied deception, studied! Said in humility, “no you didn’t commit yourself to study!” Eusebius works in Ecclesiastical History also mentions women Quadratus and Ammias in Philadelphia who followed Montanus who prophesied. 6. [Eusebius :2001] Paul the master builder revealed the instructions and specification on how to build upon that which he had laid, that women are to be in equal positions as men. When Yahweh puts upon the heart of a woman that she will be raised up as an Apostle, Prophetess, Teacher, Pastor, Leader recall He did it in days of old and did it in early house churches. I guess you are wondering? Well what about what is written by Paul in Timothy about a woman learning in submission and not permitted to teach a man or exercise authority over him but to be in silence and for them to stay at home and raise children! And what about what Paul the master builder wrote to the church at Corinth in telling them it is a shame for women to speak in the church (1 Corinthians 14:34-35). And a man only is allowed to be a bishop/overseer and an elder (1 Timothy 3:1-13). And about what Paul wrote to Titus in appointing elders that are husbands of one wife (Titus 1:5-9, 2:1-8). These will be addressed in the following chapters in greater depth, firstly lets go into 1 Timothy 2:10-15.

Chapter 7 1 Timothy 2:10-15 “10 but that that bicometh wymmen, bihetynge pitee bi good werkis, 11 a woman lerne in scilence, with al sbieccioun, 12 But I suffer not a woman to teche: nether to haue lordschip on the housbonde, but to be in scilence, 13 for adam was first formed: aftirward eue, 14 and adam was not disceyued: but woman was disceyued in brekinge of the lawe, 15 but sche schal be saued bi generacioun of children: if sche dwellith perfiztli in feith and loue, and holynesse with sobirnesse.” WICLIF – 1380 “10 but with suche as becommeth wemen that professe the worshippynge of God thorow good workes. 11 Let the woman learne in silence with all subjeccion. 12 I suffer not a woman to teache, nether to have auctoricie over a man: but forto be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed and then Eve. 14 Also Adam was not deceaved, but the woman was deceaved, and was in transgression. 15 Notwithstondynge thorow bearinge of children they shal be saved, so they continue in fayth, love and holynes with discrecion.” TYNDALE – 1534 “10 but as becommeth wemen, that professe godlynesse thorow good worckes. 11 Let the woman learne in silence with all subieccyon. 12 I suffer not a woman to teach, nether to vsurpe auctorite ouer the man: but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first fourmed, and then Eue. 14 Adam also was not deciaued, but the woman was deceaued, and was subdued to the transgressyon. 15 Notwithstandynge thorow bearynge of children she shalbe saued, yf they contynue in fayth and loue, and holynes, with discrecyon.” CRANMER – 1539 “10 But (as becommeth women that professe the feare of God) with good workes. 11 Let the woman learne in silence with all subiection. 12. I suffer not a woman to teache, nether to vsurpe auctoritie ouer the man, but for to be in silence. 13. For Adam was first formed, and then Eue. 14. And Adam was not deceaued, but the woman was deceaued, and was made giltie of the transgression. 15. Notwithstanding, through bearing of children they shalbe saued, so they continue in faith, loue, and holynes with modestie.” GENEVA – 1557 “10 but that vvhich becommeth vvomen professing pietie by good vvorkes. 11 Let a vvoman learne in silence, vvith al subiection. 12 But to teach I permit not vnto a vvoman, nor to haue dominion ouer the man: but to be in silence. 13. For Adam vvas formed first: then Eue. 14. and Adam vvas not deducjed: but the vvoman being seduced, vvas in preuarication. 15. Yet she shal be saued by generation of 61

children: if they continue in faith and loue and sanctification vvith sobrietie.” RHEIMS – 1582 “10 But (which becommeth women professing godliness) with good works. 11 Let the woman learne in silence with all subiection: 12. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to vsurpe authoritie ouer the man, but to be in silence. 13. For Adam was first formed, then Eue: 14. And Adam was not deceiued, but the woman being deceiued was in the transgression: 15. Notwithstanding she shall be saued in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charitie, and holinesse, with sobrietie.” AUTHORISED – 1611 “But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11. let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13. for Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.” Authorized Version – 19-“Women in turn are to dress modestly and quietly in seemly garb; they are not to adorn themselves with plaits of hair, with gold or pearls or expensive finery, but with good deeds (as befits women who make a religious profession). A woman must listen quietly in church and be perfectly submissive; I allow no woman to teach or dictate to men, she must keep quiet. For Adam was created first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, it was Eve who was deceived and who fell into sin. However, women will get safely through childbirth, if they continue to be faithful and loving and holy as well as unassuming.” A New Translation Of The Bible – James Moffatt – 1935 “but – as befits women making a claim to godliness-with the ornament of good works. A woman should learn in silence with entire submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach, nor to have authority over a man, but she must remain silent. For Adam was formed first and then Eve: Adam was not deceived, but his wife was thoroughly deceived, and became involved transgression. Yet a woman will be saved through child-bearing if she continue in faith and love and holiness, with selfrestraint.” The New Testament In Modern Speech – Weymouth – 1938 “But clothed with good works, as is right for women who are living in the fear of God. 11. Let a woman quietly take the place of a learner and be under authority. 12. In my opinion it is right for a woman not to be a teacher, or to have rule over a man, but to be quiet. 13. For Adam was first formed, then Eve; 14. And Adam was not taken by deceit, but the woman, being tricked, became a wrong doer. 15. But if they go on in faith and love and holy self-control, she will be kept sage at the time of 62

child-birth.”

New Testament In Basic English – 1941

“But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13. For Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they a continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.” SELF-PRONOUNCING EDITION – conformable to the edition of 1611, commonly known as the Authorized or King James Version – 1946 “I recommend that women, for their part, array themselves in decorous attire, harmonizing with their modesty and self-control, not in braided tresses, in gold, in pearls, nor in costly raiment, but-as becomes women professing the fear of God, - by good deeds let them be adorned. Let a woman be in your gatherings a learner-not a speaker-in unvarying submission. To a woman I give no commission to be a teacher, nor to lord it over man: she must abide in silence. The distinction dates from the origin of our race: Adam was the first created, then Eve. Moreover, it was not Adam that was actually deceived by the tempter, but it was entirely through her being utterly deceived that woman has become involved in transgression. Yet through her motherhood shall woman be saved, if your women swerve not from faith and love and self-consecration, coupled with virtuous self-control.” The Letters Of Saint Paul – Arthur S. Way – 1950 “as befits women who profess religion. Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness. I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to deep silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with modesty.” Revised Standard Version – 1952 “But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12. but I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”” King James [unknown date published, given as a gift in] – 1959 “Women again must dress in becoming manner, modestly and soberly, not with elaborate hairstyles, not decked out with gold or pearls, or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, as befits women who claim to be religious. A woman must be a learner, listening quietly and with due submission. I do not permit a woman to be a 63

teacher, nor must woman domineer over man; she should be quiet. For Adam was created first, and Eve afterwards; and it was not Adam who was deceived; it was the woman who, yielding to deception, fell into sin. Yet she will be saved through motherhood-if only women continue in faith, love, and holiness, with a sober mind.” The New English Bible – New Testament –1961 “It is my wish that prayer should everywhere be offered by the men; they are to lift up hand that re sanctified, free from all anger and dispute. So, too, with the women; they are to dress themselves modestly and with restraint in befitting attire; no plaited hair, no gold ornaments, or pearls, or rich clothes; a virtuous life is the best adornment for women who lay claim to piety. Women are to keep silence, and take their place, with all submissiveness, as learners; a woman shall have no leave from me to teach, and issue commands to her husband; her part is to be silent. It was Adam that was created first, and Eve later, nor was it Adam that went astray; woman was led astray, and was involved in transgression. Yet woman will find her salvation in child-bearing, if she will but remain true to faith and love and holy living.” The New Testament translated by Ronald Knox – first published in 1945 - this edition 1962 “a virtuous life is the best adornment for women who lay claim to piety. Yet woman will find her salvation in child-bearing, if she will but remain true to faith and love and holy living.” Knox [John] Version – first published in 1955 - this edition – 1966 “It is not for them to have an elaborate hair-style, jewellery of gold or pearls, or expensive clothes, but, as becomes women who profess to believe in God, it is for them to show their faith by the way they live. A woman should learn quietly and humbly. Personally, I don’t allow women to teach, nor do I ever put them in authority over men-I believe they should be quiet. (My reasons are that man was created before woman. Further, it was Eve and not Adam who was first deceived and fell into sin. Nevertheless I believe that women will come safely through childbirth if they maintain a life of faith, love, holiness and modesty.)” The New Testament In Modern English Revised Student Edition J.B. Phillips – first printed, 1958 – this edition 1972 “Similarly, I direct that women are to wear suitable clothes and to be dressed quietly and modestly, without braided hair or gold and jewellery or expensive clothes; their adornment is to do the sort of goods works that are proper for women who profess to be religious. During instruction, a woman should be quiet and 64

respectful. I am not giving permission for a woman to teach or to tell a man what to do. A woman ought not to speak, because Adam was formed first and Eve afterwards, and it was not Adam who was led astray but the woman who was led astray and fell into sin. Nevertheless, she will be saved by childbearing, provided she lives a modest life and is constant in faith and love and holiness.” The Jerusalem Bible - Popular Edition – 1974 “but with good deeds, as is proper for women who claim to be religious. 11. Women should learn in silence and all humility. 12. I do not allow them to teach or to have authority over men; they must keep quiet. 13. For Adam was created first, and then Eve. 14. And it was not Adam who was deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and broke God’s law. 15. But a woman will be saved through having children, if she perseveres in faith and love and holiness, with modesty.” Good News Bible – Today’s English Version – 1976 “And the women should be the same way, quiet and sensible in manner and clothing. Christian women should be noticed for being kind and good, not for the way they fix their hair or because of their jewels or fancy clothes. 11. Women should listen and learn quietly and humbly. 12. I never let women teach men or lord it over them. Let them be silent in your church meetings. 13. Why? Because God made Adam first, and afterwards he made Eve. 14. and it was not Adam who was fooled by Satan, but Eve, and sin was the result. 15. So God sent pain and suffering to women when their children are born, but he will save their souls if they trust in him, living quiet, good, and loving lives.” The Living Bible – Paraphrased – first printed, July 1971 – Forty-ninth printing, February 1979 “but which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. 11. Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. 12. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. 13. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 15. Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.” New King James Version – Holy Bible The New Testament – 1982 When we read 1 Timothy 2:10-15 we can see various differences in the translations. All translations are a translation of a translation and or translations. Some change the true content of this scripture verse to read and infer all women in general. But Paul is not referring to all women; he is addressing particular women in Ephesus for reasons we will learn. Recall Phoebe, Chole, Priscilla, Lydia, Junia, Tryphena, Tryphosa, Persis, Nympha, Syntyche and Euodia. The 1611 King James Version had been highly esteemed over centuries, as it 65

was believed the Texus Receptus was the most accurate text of the New Testament. The Old Testement Text used was Complutensian Polyglot; Antwerp Polyglot. 1. [Wegner, 1999:333] This first version, 1611 took five (5) years to complete and first appeared in 1611 AD. “dedicated to King James and the title, in its entirety, read: “The Holy Bible, containing the Old Testament and the New: Newly Translated out of the original tongues: and with the former translations diligently compared and revised, by his Majesty’s special Commandment. Appointed to be read in the churches.” The wording of the title is somewhat surprising, since there were no decrees or laws authorizing it as a translation or requiring its usage. It acceptance as the authorized version of 1611 is apparently based upon the king’s influence and the reputation of its translators.” 2. [Wegner, 1999:333] There were fifty-four (54) men appointed by King James as translators and only forty-four (44) men listed. 3. [Wegner, 1999:333] He had draw up principles for these translators to guide them in their translating. In this first versions printing there were two printers used since no single printer could make that many copies for its demand. 4. [Wegner, 1999:333] There then came “a great many, mostly minute discrepancies.” 5. [Wegner, 1999:333] “In the years following its completion the Authorized Version was reprinted many times, and by the 1613 edition there were already more than three hundred variations between it and the earliest editions.21. Jack P. Lewis, former professor of Bible at Harding Graduate School of Religion, notes that the sources used for the Authorized Version were significantly inferior to those available today: “Of the five primary uncial manuscripts now received as authority for the purity of the text of the New Testament, only Codex Bezae was then available, and there is no evidence that it was used. Papyrus discoveries came three hundred years later. The King James scholars could have known fewer than twenty-five late manuscripts of the New Testament, and these were carelessly used. Today there are 5,358 known New Testament manuscripts and fragments. ... The 1611 situation for the Old Testament was even poorer. The Complutensian Polyglot (1517) and the Antwerp Polyglot (1572) would have been the sources from which they would have known the Old Testament. Where these two differ, the KJV agrees with one or the other except in about a half-dozen places where it agrees with neither.... About 800 Hebrew manuscripts have now been studied.15” 6. [Wegner, 1999:333] To date there have been various translations from the original 1611 and differ significantly especially in language or word usage. Many Modern translators now disagree that the Texus Receptus is the most accurate text of the New Testament. 7. 66

[Wegner, 1999:326] One of the many translators “John Wesley in 1768 revised the Authorized Version with some twelve thousand changes, entitling it The New Testament with Notes, for Plain Unlettered Men who know only their Mother Tongue.” 8. [Wegner, 1999:333] In the year “(1769) Dr. Benjamin Blayney, Regius Professor of Hebrew at Oxford, once again revised the Authorized Version and introduced many modifications dealing with weights, measures, and coins. 31. E.J. Goodspeed estimated that this version differed in at least seventy-five thousand places from the Authorized Version of 1611, 32. And it became known as the Oxford standard edition with which we are familiar today.” 9. [Wegner, 1999:333] “There is no doubt that the King James Bible has had a significant influence upon the English-speaking population, and while many people will continue to use this version due to familiarity or even because they believe the text is preferable, many newer versions are much more accurate and understandable to modern readers.” 10. [Wegner, 1999:333] We can now see translators change words, vocabulary and grammar according to their theology, gender, language culture and to add ‘brokenness’ and ‘bias’. The bottom line is; word study is not fool proof; word study is not a fully accurate way in interpreting passages or contextual verses of a Chapter. Whilst Busnell wrote and majored on words, I find her teachings not accurate with a bias to female equality, when Yahweh had not intended woman to be the major person in ministty or did He take from men their firstborn status or head as husband or their head in ministry positions. Further too highly esteem one version over another as more accurate is an additional net (Psalms 35:8 RSV). All translations contain controversial elements, especially regarding textual interpretations. Therefore it is wise to have various translations so as The Holy Spirit can lead and teach us the more accurate. A classic example of word and contextual change is believed to be “tentmakers.” Some believe translators have changed the word prayer shawl makers to tentmakers in Acts 18:3. Implying that Paul, Priscilla and Aquila made tents that were used to sleep and dwell in. The New Bible Commentary 1953-1965 writes “Tentmakers (3). The word may mean, more broadly, ‘leather-workers.’ It was regarded as proper for a rabbi to practice a manual occupation, so as not to make monetary profit out of his sacred teachings.”11. [Davidson 1965:926] There was no great need for tents in Corinth or Rome or Athens or Jerusalem, the only people who used tents was the nomadic Bedouin tribes in the deserts and their tents were made of goat’s hair and they made their own. When interpreting and testing a scripture it has to be in line with social 67

traditions, governments and kings in reign, city, culture, translators, translations, era, language, customs, Law, oral laws, writers and word(s) and other scriptures from various books of The Word just to mention a few. Now in this light going back to 1 Timothy 2:10-15, the time this book was written, Paul left Timothy in Ephesus. Various demonic strongholds of a multiplicity of deities, mainly female deities fortified this city. The major principality over Ephesus was Jezebel in the goddess Diana (Acts 19:24, 27-28) with her various Mother goddess cults. In some versions, Diana (RSV, NIV, NASB) is named as Artemis. The Romans knew her as Diana, the Ephesians as Artemis; it was this goddess who held a fortified stronghold of feminine supremacy in religion over the city of Ephesus. Women in the major beliefs of religion in Ephesus enlightened the men; they were considered the ones who received divine enlightenment not the men. Women were the mediators, teachers and leaders. “I do not allow [these women – words in brackets here mine] to teach, nor to exercise [their – words in brackets here mine] authority over a man.” This is why Paul begins with this truth in Chapter One of being only one mediator between Yahweh and us. He is making this known and other ‘truth’ to those of the house churches in Ephesus so they would come out of multiple beliefs to a full knowledge of ‘Truth’. “For this is good and acceptable before God our deliverer, 4. who desires all men to be delivered, and to come to a full knowledge of truth. 5. for God is one, also there is one Mediator of God and of men, the Man Christ Jesus,” 1 Timothy 2:5 It was in this environment of this city that was one of the major religious centers of the ancient world that Paul leaves a young Torah, Prophets, Writings, Oral Torah ‘learned’ Timothy. A city that had a very developed theological system including Gnostic Theology, Hellenism, Philosophy and other religions and cults which were anti Yahweh, anti God of the Hebrews, anti One God, anti One Mediator. There were cults of Isis the goddess of fertility, Fortuna the goddess of romance, Vesta the goddess of the hearth, Cybele The Great Mother goddess of the gods, and Diana or Artemis the goddess of chastity, hunt and the moon. There was the Gnostic sect, “One of the heretical sects that plagued the churches at Ephesus and a Pergamum (see v. 15), and perhaps elsewhere. Irenaeus identifies the Nicolaitants as a Gnostic sect:” 12. (White 2001:745) “The “Nicolaitans”, 2-6, it is thought, were a sect who advocated licentiousness as the proper way of life.” 13. (Henry 1965:579) 68

There was “Dionysus the god of wine with drunkenness.” 14. (Keener 1992:260) We read “But women’s roles were especially prominent in this cult, and, given Roman male views on property, this naturally led to social disturbances,” 15. (Keener 1992:259) “Music, sexual liberation, and abuse of wine were not limited in any way to the mysteries,” 16. (Keener 1992:259) all revealing a multiplicity of religions at Ephesus. “If Paul wished to distinguish Christianity from the wild rites associated with the less acceptable mysteries, he would need to encourage the Christians to avoid wrong impressions concerning the orderliness of their worship, the roles of women in their congregations, and perhaps the use of wine in the Lord’s Supper.” 17. (Keener 1992:258) History also reveals, “Ephesus was excavated by J. T. Wood, 1868-1874; British Museum, 190405; and an Austrian expedition, 1894 – and 1930. Ruins of the Temple of Diana were uncovered; also ruins of the Theatre in which the great Riot was held, Acts 19:29. Also they found remains of a Roman Bath, constructed of marble, with many rooms: steam rooms, cold rooms, lounge rooms; an evidence of the luxury of the city.” 18. (Hadas, Moses, Morton, Smith 1965:) They also found a temple which contained a statue of Domitian, the Emperor “[emperor, 81-95]” 19. (Hadas, Moses, Morton, Smith 1965:238) who called himself “God”, who had banished John to the Isle of Patmos, and who was Persecuting Christians while these Visions of the book of Revelation were being given to John.” 20. (Halley 1965:579) “In the midst of a crowded theater at Ephesus he applied to Domitian the lines of Euripides declaring that tyrants whose power has been long in growing are tripped up by little things. When it was reported that Domitian had condemned three priestesses of the goddess Vesta to death for unchastity, Apollonius prayed in public that the sun might be purified because of the unjust murder it beheld throughout the world.” 21. (Hadas, Moses, Morton, Smith 1965:239) It is here in Ephesus that Timothy is a fellow worker with Paul to admonish and not allow these women and men wishing to be teachers of Law “charge some not to teach other doctrines”. Particularly the women “some” as Paul told Timothy “Let a woman learn in silence, [the Jewish understanding of learn in silence is “learn before you can teach’ illustrated below – words in brackets here mine] in all subjection: 12. But I do not allow a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man; but to be in silence.” These particular women were to be stopped from being teachers they were 69

teaching different doctrines to the Apostles. As they neither understood what they said about the Law or that which they strongly affirmed. “Even as I begged you to remain in Ephesus – I going to Macedonia – that you might charge some not to teach other doctrines, 4. nor to give heed to fables and to endless genealogies – which provide doubts rather than a stewardship of God in faith – 5. but the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and faith not pretended; 6. from which having missed the mark some turned aside to empty talking, 7. wishing to be teachers of Law, neither understanding what they say, nor about that which they strongly affirm. 8. And we know that the Law is good, if anyone uses it lawfully;” 1Timothy 1:3-8 It is here under this stronghold Timothy receives instructions in the letter from Paul in Macedonia (3:15) about the work he was to do; in this he was to bring Godly order. It is here also Timothy receives instructions on the choosing of overseers. Written in 1 Timothy 3:1-13, Paul’s first instructions are “if (generic) anyone reaches out to overseership” (V1. IL) they must be... (V2) Then he goes on to describe if the man desires this office he must be blameless.......... (V2 KJ) In verse 11 the instructions are for the wives. Now consider; from Acts 19 we discern Paul made a multitude of Christian converts in Ephesus. “There were no church buildings. Houses for Christian worship did not begin to be built till two hundred years after the days of Paul, and were not general till Constantine put an end to the persecutions of Christians. In Paul’s day churches met mostly in the homes of the Christian people. Thus, the scores of thousands of Christians, in and around Ephesus, met, not in one, or a few, great central congregations, but in hundreds of small groups in various homes, each congregation under its own pastoral leadership.” (…) “The Pastors. There must have been hundreds of them. In Acts 20:17 they are called “elders”. In this Epistle they are called “bishops”, 3:1: different names for same office.” 22. (Halley 1965:525) “These elders are called ‘overseers’, the term later stereotyped for ‘bishops’, and obviously have to teach, as part of their functions.” 23. (Hanson 1967:323) Now given the stronghold of feminine supremacy, Paul’s instructions are directed to the men [with overtones in these verses to women “anyone’ ‘likewise.’ Women could be chosen, but not necessarily young widows as they may cast off their first faith and or vow to remarry (1 Timothy 5:11-11)] who want to take these “offices of bishop” (KJ) and or overseers. It is particularly a strategy for the 70

pulling down of the strongholds of teaching and training under women supremacy. Not that it should be dominated by men, or men only, but men were to take a place and be a part of the church structure with the women, it was not to be under women supremacy. It was also for learned men ‘Judaizing teachers’ who were to be those put into ‘overseership’ and or pastoral positions of house churches. Timothy was young and ‘learned,’ but in Jewish understanding a thirty-five year old male or female is considered young. So those who reached out to overseership (1 Timothy 3:1) were to understand what they said and about that which they strongly affirmed (1 Timothy 1:7). Not “a novice, lest being puffed up he may fall into the judgment of the Devil.” (1 Timothy 3:6) and a novice is an ‘unlearned’ person. These men were also to be tested first (1Timothy 3:10) before they could serve as an overseer and or someone who was to lead/pastor a house church (Romans 16:1). And Paul writes they were not to “lay hands quickly on no one,” (1 Timothy 5:22) to put them into overseership (Acts 6:6, 13:2-3; 1 Timothy 4:14). Given the nature of the city, its environment and problems it has been said about Timothy “he was to develop his pastors [overseers] out of his converts. Sometimes he got brilliant men; but probably most of his pastors were from the ordinary walks of life, He had to do the best he could with available material.” 24. (Halley 1965:525) However, recall the Emperor Claudius had evicted all Jews from Rome, therefore many Jewish exiles would have been in Ephesus, and other cities of Asia Minor. There would have been rabbinical schooled men and ‘learned’ women and even schooled women of Torah, the Prophets and the Writings in Ephesus. The instructions were not sent to the churches of the Philippi, Corinth or Jerusalem. Neither is this a specific instruction for all churches today in that only men are to be in the position of pastor/overseer/elder/bishop or men only with wives, but directly to that church at Ephesus because of the spiritual stronghold, it’s environment and problems. Recall again, Phoebe, Chole, Priscilla, Lydia, Junia, Tryphena, Tryphosa, Persis, Nympha, Syntyche and Euodia. Keep in mind also what I have written about translation and translators. We see though, Paul is building upon the foundation in giving ‘the credentials’ required. The Godly requirements of any man/male or husband woman/female or wife who desires to be in that office within the church of today and tomorrow that allows both women and men to be overseers - pastors, bishops, elders, and or deacons. When Paul refers to ‘the woman’ in the scripture of 1 Timothy 2:10-12, he refers to those who were teaching another doctrine. Importantly to note, some of 71

these converted women were once Priestess’s to Diana, mediators of and to the goddess’s. Some of these ‘the women’ had been involved in temple prostitution, temple teaching, leadership, worship and service and also drunkenness and sexual immorality before their conversion to Christianity. It was these women Paul speaks about who needed to learn submission to men and authority, and to learn in silence, they were novices in Judaism. And they were not to add their own interpretations to teachings when they had not been taught or schooled moreover in Law, Rabbinic schools, nor who knew the Gospel teachings of The New Eternal Blood Covenant (1 Timothy 1:7). Some of these women would have been schooled in the multiplicity of religions, which even included perverted Judaism - “forever learning and never coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ” (2 Timothy 3:7) To add these women may not of renounced totally their former doctrines therefore they would still have had the spirits associated to the heresies and false religions (1 Timothy 4:1-2). This is why Eve was so deceived by Satan’s teachings, because she had not been formed enough, or she had not been taught enough on the teachings of Yahweh as Adam was formed [formed = Jewish understanding for taught] first before Eve was created – again, Adam was instructed in the ways of righteousness before Eve was created in other words in Hebraic understanding ‘he was formed first’. Therefore she was so easily deceived she had not been instructed in righteousness/ formed as much as Adam. As so with these women who were not formed in Judaism, they were novices in Torah, The Prophet, The Writings and the Oral law, open for Satan’s demonic deception, open vessels to “give heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, to teach such pretension and lies (1 Timothy 4:1). When Paul refers to women professing godliness in 1 Timothy 2:10, he is actually confirming to us they were teaching. The word professing according to a teaching I am reading means ‘I deliver a message’ and “to profess to teach’”, taken from Greek. The author is unknown as it is only a photocopy of a booklet of 43 pages named “The “Magna Charta” of Woman “According to the Scriptures.” I am told written in 1915. 25. (Penn-Lewis) This is a noteworthy extract form this writing confirming the era; “* It is interesting as showing the way that women’s emancipation is advancing, that after this was written, the Church of England bishops, in Convocation, passed unanimously the resolution, “That recognizing the legitimacy of the Women’s Deaconate, this House desires to see its formal and canonical restoration.” (“Times,” February 14th, 1919)” 26. (Jessie Penn-Lewis) This writer I have since found to be Jessie Penn-Lewis who records that 72

hidden away in this text is the very confirmation of women’s public work. I agree, and add that here Paul is also confirming that women can still profess godliness, or deliver a message to teach, but there is a certain criteria they must first fit. To learn in submission and to be silent (“Let a woman learn in silence in all subjection” v. 11) in Jewish understanding was to be still, to be silent to receive teaching from Yahweh. One needed to have a readiness to submit oneself to learn submit, to hear the will of Yahweh and to obey it - silent. For one to be open to teaching about scripture and doctrine also for one to lay down one’s doctrines of ‘having arrived’, ‘having the correct interpretation and theology’ and to be teachable. So as one could either add or take away from ones interpretation of scripture one’s doctrines and theology. Be still, be silent, and know that I am God, is a great principle to live by in learning, teaching and training. Now in Ephesus some of these women were learned women of the various religions within the city. They wanted to be teachers of the Hebrew ways of Torah, The Books of the Law, understanding neither what they said nor what they affirmed (1 Timothy 1:7). Some of these women were those who were forever learning and never coming to the saving knowledge of truth of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:7) because of the mixture of religions they learnt about. It is in this light that these women needed to learn in submission and silence - learn the doctrines of the Law (2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Timothy 2:4-5) before they could be approved as teachers before they could become overseers (1 Timothy 3:11). They needed to be established in truth (Romans 16:25). They had to put aside all their multiplicity of doctrines to remain silent and learn before they could become chosen approved vessels to teach the Apostles teachings, and the Hebraic Scriptures (1 Timothy 1:7-8). In Jewish tradition, rabbinic tradition one is to be “formed” first and or taught first and “to be silent” to sit at the feet of a Rabbi as a disciple. Then once you have learnt you could be a teacher of the law. This is Jewish language spoken from a Jewish Paul to both Jewish and Greek audience This is the same principle Paul is teaching for Apostolic tradition before being released into ministry one has to be formed, one has to be silent and learn. One cannot teach unless first being taught. The Spirit of The Living God could not use these ‘unlearned’ women or freely in utterance of Hebraic and Apostolic teaching for they knew not the traditions and the teachings (1 Timothy 1:7). They were used in utterance under spirits of other deities as enlightened ones to teach and to be mediators for the goddesses and gods. Paul was used greatly in utterance, however he had sat at the feet of Gamaliel (Acts 22:3) knowing Jewish oral traditions and the teachings of the Law, the 73

Prophets and the Writings thus he understood what he was making assertions about (1 Timothy 1:7) and what The Holy Spirit taught through him in utterance (Ephesians 3:3; 2 Corinthians 12:7) and impressions on his spirit. This same principle applies today; novices cannot have hands laid upon them (1 Timothy 5:22) to be placed into overseership – Pastoral positions, eldership, deacon or bishops. These women wanted to be teachers of the law but they knew not the Law or the Prophets or The Writings. Consider Phoebe a deaconess and or overseer of the church at Cenchreae and also Priscilla (Romans 16:1-2) they were both ‘learned’ schooled women of the law and oral law, the prophets and the writings to be permitted or ordained by Paul in the position of overseer/deaconess and Apostle. Therefore because these women “some” “certain” (1:3) believed and were considered ‘the enlightened ones’ the one’s who should lead and teach they were not to usurp or have dominion over the ‘learned’ men who the Holy Spirit through Timothy would chose to oversee and teach in the house churches. Further, the knowledgeable and or ‘learned’ men of Torah and the Prophets and the Writings were to have anointed positions which would help bring down this stronghold of ‘women enlightened’ supremacy and ‘women mediators’ so that it would bring Godly order and balance within the church structures. Recall Timothy, his grandmother Lois and mother Eunice had taught him since he was little The Torah and The Prophets (2 Timothy 1:5, 2 Timothy 3:1417). He had been so to speak “fully furnished for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:17) He had been taught the teachings on Law, The Prophets, The Writings and oral law before he was called to the ministry (1 Timothy 4:12). Further it was by two women, His grandmother Lois and mother Eunice where his teachings came from. Timothy had been schooled in Torah before he was called into ministry as a fellow worker of Paul (Romans 1:6, 16:3, 21), before he could be in the ministry of laboring with Paul (Romans 1:6; 16:1-2; 1 Corinthians 16:16), before he could be in ministry as a worthy saint (Romans 1:5-6, 16:1-2) before he could be called to a position of authority (Romans 1:5-6). Interesting to look these scriptures up in this paragraph as these women mentioned would also have been taught ones before they were chosen to be worthy saints, laboring, fellow workers of Paul. Recall again Pricilla in Acts 18:26 taught Apollos a learned man who was powerful in the Old Testament Scriptures (Acts 18:24). Pricilla was mentioned before her husband as she was ‘more learned’ in Old Testament Scriptures; she helped expound more accurately the way of God to Apollos. She would not have been given an anointed position of authority if she had 74

not been powerful and or skilled in the word of righteousness or mentioned before her husband, both Apostles (Romans 1:5-7) both “called out ones of Jesus Christ.” (Romans 1:6) Both Priscilla and Aquila, Paul’s fellow-workers had been to various cities with and without Paul (Romans 16:3- Rome; Acts 18:2 - Corinth; Acts 18:24-26 - Ephesus; 1 Corinthians 16:19 – Ephesus, running a church in their house). According to Jesma O’Hara: “Jews as well as Jesus were weaned at three years of age. They then go to the house of books to study the Torah, the first five books off by heart. At the age of twelve Jesus would have received His first fringes on the prayer shawl and went to the Temple for His first Passover. Then He was allowed to go to the sages and religious leaders to talk and ask questions, in Jewish understanding they are now regarded as men. Then He went to the house of studies and began the oral Torah, learning scripture by memorizing by discussion and arguing. At thirteen He learns the rest of the Old Testament off by heart. By twenty-five years He would have know all the Old Testament off by heart. He could then become a Rabbi at thirty, as this was custom under oral law. Then and only then could He and others have disciples.” 27. (O’Hara) Timothy would have chosen through The Holy Spirit those to be positions of overseership (1 Timothy 3:1-13) to pastor new house churches. He also would have visited existing house churches teaching and bringing Godly order. Mostly men and women who knew Torah would have been chosen, especially because of the problems with the women not knowing Torah and oral law and ‘female supremacy’ coming from the multiplicity of female goddesses, temples and cults and the mixture of false religious doctrines some of the men and women of Ephesus held. Also it was early days (AD) predominately men had learnt Law and oral law and custom and culture played a role in their hearts and minds against women and accepting and receiving women in the ministry positions like men. But I commend to you our sister Phoebe, being a servant of the church in Cenchrea; that you may receive her in the Lord, as is worthy of the saints, and my assist her in whatever she may need of you. For she also became a helper of many, and of myself.” Romans 16:1-2 “Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also...” 1 Corinthians 9:5 75

In the early church, men as well as women were to be anointed (Joel 2:2830) to be overseers and teachers of the apostolic gospel message. Not just men alone and not just anointed women for teaching within the home environment. These women we read of in Paul’s Letter’s who are in positions of authority the same as the men would have most assuredly known and been taught Torah, Prophets and oral law. In that way they would of understood what they taught and strongly affirmed (1 Timothy 1:7). We read in Romans 16:1-3 of Phoebe, a minister/deacon/servant of the church in Cenchrea. Different versions translate the same Greek word in three ways. 1. Minister. 2. Deacon. 3. Servant. Romans 15:8; 1 Corinthians 3:5; 2 Corinthians 3:6, 6:4, 11:23; Ephesians 3:7, 6:21; Colossians 1:7, 23, 25, 4:7; 1 Thessalonians 3:2; 1 Timothy 4:6 translate this same Greek word used here for Phoebe (Romans 16:1) as minister. This same Greek word is used in Philippians 1:1; 1 Timothy 3:8 and 3:12 but is rendered deacon and deaconess. Again this same Greek word in Romans 16:1 is rendered servant for Phoebe. “366. Conybeare and Howson, in their Life of St. Paul, (p. 240), call attention to the use, in connection with Phoebe’s name, of two words associated together in technical legal matters, in Paul’s recommendation of her, which indicate that she was abroad on some important business with the courts, -possibly in behalf of the church. Yet with all this, our translators found no difficulty in leveling her down to the “servant” class. But Paul calls her, not a “deaconess” but a “deacon,” a “minister.” 28. (Bushnell 2003:171) Translator’s translations color the minds of the readers; this is why it is essential to compare and study scriptures – look at the whole picture - and doctrines and prove them for your self. “Earnestly study to show yourself approved to God, a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15) In Romans 16:3 – Priscilla – fellow worker who was in Rome. Consider this same Greek word is written of Timothy in Romans 16:21 “my fellow worker Timothy greet you.” Again these same Greek words are applied to Priscilla. “Timotheus my work-fellow. Paul sometimes calls Timothy his son; but here he styles him his work-fellow, as one equal with him.” 29. (Church 1961:1800) Consider in this light 1 Corinthians 16:16, written by Paul whilst he was in Ephesus on his third missionary journey.” 30. (Bryant 1967:117) Paul was in Macedonia this time when he writes the Epistle to Timothy who is to remain in 76

Ephesus (1:3). “See that you also may submit to such ones, and to everyone working and laboring with me.” 1 Corinthians 16:16 What women, what did you say Spirit of The Living God in the Word? Women, what a man submit to a women, submit to a woman who is called to a position of authority to labor in the Lord, a woman who is a fellow worker in the Lord! Um yes, that is what The Spirit of The Living God said through Paul who in one breath in the same city said he forbids a woman to teach and have authority over a man then in another breath accepts a woman to teach and men to submit to her in her called position in the Lord as overseer, fellow worker, minister or deacon. Therefore the words in 1Timothy 2:10-15 must have more meaning more than what they imply! There must be Hebraic understanding there, mistranslation to be understood and other issues that need to be discerned about the implication of forbidding a woman to teach and have authority over a man. Compare scriptures; Philemon 1, 1 Corinthians 16:16, Romans 16:21 against Romans 16:3. Pricilla here is named as a fellow-worker as are those in these scriptures. And she is highly honored being named firstly in these three scriptures before her husband (Acts 18:24-26, 2 Timothy 4:19, Romans 16:3). In Jewish understanding the one who is more ‘learned’ is to be mentioned first. The scriptures to compare all refer to men we know and read that taught, all who are referred to as fellow-workers of Paul called out ones of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:5-7). Indicating that they as well as Pricilla are fellow-workers in the work of ministry in which he himself was involved. Again consider what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 16:16 with Pricilla in mind; “See that you also may submit to such ones, and to everyone working and laboring with me.” 1 Corinthians 16:16 Consider also here Phoebe, an overseer, a minister, a deacon, poorly rendered servant (IL) “submit to such ones, and to everyone working and laboring with me.” “But I commend to you our sister Phoebe, being a servant of the church in Cenchrea; 2. that you may receive her in the Lord, as is worthy of the saints, and may assist her in whatever she may need of you. For she also became a helper of many, and of myself.” Romans 16:1-2 (IL) “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deaconess of the church at 77

Cenchreae, that you may receive her in the Lord as befits the saints, and help her in whatever she may require from you, for she has been a helper of many and of myself as well.” (RSV) “I commend to you our sister Phebe, who is a deacon in the church in Cenchrea.” (NLT) “I COMMEND to you Phebe our sister, who is a deaconess of the church of Kancreos, 2. that you receive her in the Lord, as is right for saints; and, in every thing which she requests from you, assist her; because she also hath assisted many, and myself also.” 16:21 “Timotheos, a labourer with me, and Lukios and Iason and Sosipatros my kinsmen ask for your peace.” .” 31. [Cited 07/01/20] (Aramaic New Testament Parallel of Peshita -Etheridge) “Romans 16:1 - I ENTRUST to your care Phe'be, our sis ter, who is a deaconess of the church which is at Cen'chre-a: Romans 16:2 - That you may receive her in our LORD, with the respect which is due saints, and that you may assist her in whatever she may need of you: for she has been a help to many, and to me also. Romans 16:21 - Ti-mo'the-us, my fellow-worker, and Lucius, and Jason, and So-sip'a-ter, my kinsmen, salute you.” 32. [Cited 07/01/20] (Dr George Lamsa’s English Peshitta translation) Timothy we know to be minister mentioned in verse 21 as a labourer with me. Also line these scriptures up of 1 Corinthians 9:1-6 against 1 Corinthians 16:16 concerning submitting to women fellow-workers, worthy of the saints to be received in the Lord (Romans 16:1-2). Sisters like Phoebe and Pricilla who have been given authority as fellow workers in the things of the Lord with Paul. (1 Corinthians 11:11) Phoebe a sister is considered worthy as a saint to do the work of a minister, even to be received as an Apostle and be lead about with other Apostles. “Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? (Have) I not seen our Lord Jesus Christ? Are you not my work in the Lord? 2. If I am not an apostle to others, yet I am indeed to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. 3. My defense to those examining me is this: 4. Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord’s brothers do? 6. Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no authority to quit work? 1 Corinthians 9:1-6 Romans 16:6, “Mary who did much labor for us.” Recall again 1 Corinthians 16:16. 78

Romans 16:7 – Junia an apostle. “Paul speaks of Androicus and Junia, “who are of note among the apostles. “Andronicus” is a Greek name borne by some Diaspora Jews. Both are said to be Paul’s relatives (like Herodion in v.11), and whether this means that they were close relatives or only that they were Jewish, they are certainly Jewish.” 33. (Keener 1992: 241) It is also believed and I believe they may have been husband and wife Apostles like Priscilla and Aquila. “Of the three men he commends for their work, two are mentioned in commendations alongside their wives (16:3, 7)” 34. (Keener 1992:240) Consider again Paul’s authority in saying this about women/sisters (1 Corinthians 9:1-6). And wives along side husbands, as he is free (v.1) from human authority, free from rabbinic heresy, free from cultural norms, free in the teachings of The Eternal blood Covenant. He has the authority of Jesus Christ to lead about sisters and or women as Apostles and appoint women as fellow workers of The Lord Jesus Christ with him and to go before him in ministry. Here he is not referring to blood relative sisters (v. 5), but as in kinsmen, Jewish women. He is allowing a sister in ministry, allowing a woman in ministry to do the work of an Apostle, (Romans 16:7, Romans 16:3, Romans 16:1) allowing a woman to be a fellow laborer (Romans 16:3) to labor with him, to be an overseer / minister / deacon of a Church (Romans 16:1-2) allowing women to fill these calls of The Lord. “… - man is not apart from woman, nor woman apart from man, in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 11:11) “Am I not an apostle? Am I not free? (Have) I not seen our Lord Jesus Christ? Are you not my work in the Lord? 2. If I am not an apostle to others, yet I am indeed to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord. 3. My defense to those examining me is this: 4. Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord’s brothers do? 5. Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no authority to quit work? 1 Corinthians 9:1-5 Romans 16:12 Persis – laboring in many things in the Lord “See that you also may submit to such ones, and to everyone working and laboring with me.” (1 Corinthians 16:16) Consider here how then does “I forbid a woman to teach a man or to have authority over a man.” The translation written in 1 Timothy 2:11-15 does not line up with the overall teachings on women in the epistles, letters, gospels, in simplicity it does not line up with the big picture! There are also these women, Euodia and Syntyche in Philippians 4:2 who labored with him in the gospel “see that you also may submit to such ones… laboring with me.” 79

Consider again these prophecies. “And it shall be afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams; your young men shall see visions. 29. And also I will pour out My Spirit on the slaves and on the slaves girls in those days.” Joel 2:28-29 “The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host:” Psalms 68:11 NASB It is in some of the house churches in Ephesus where there were false teachings being taught by women who taught different doctrines to the gospel message and about Law. Consider the whole thread throughout Timothy with regards to false teaching and teacher. It was these who were the women who were to remain silent, who were to be taught the Law, understand oral law and the apostle’s teachings before they could be ‘called’ to teach. They were to become teachable, (Hebraic understanding implied to “be silent,” meant learn (1Timothy 2:12) before you can be given authority to teach. These women could not teach and who already were teaching had to stop teaching their perceived doctrines, their mixture of truth and error (1 Timothy 4:1) because as we read; “As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, nor to occupy themselves with myths and endless genealogies which promote speculations rather than the divine training that is in faith; 5. whereas the aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith. 6. Certain persons by swerving from these have wondered away into vain discussion, desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make assertions.” 1 Timothy 1:3-7 RSV It is in this context Paul speaks of ‘the women’, referring not to women in general as we read of the women above who were fellow servants with Paul, but to the women who once served a multiplicity of goddesses/gods. Women who were once mediators of the goddess’s, teachers of false religions women who held multiple beliefs, ex-prostitutes and ex-priestesses. Some of these ‘type’ of women who were new converts to New Testament Covenant who “desired to be teachers of the law without understanding either what they said or the things abut which they made assertions.” Therefore Paul’s implication is “I forbid these women to teach or to have authority over men.” “Let them submit to the truth, let them submit to the 80

Apostles teachings, let them be silent and be taught before they can teach.” [My rendering] Women who had been schooled in a multiplicity of religions, including perverted Judaism, women who desired to keep their venerated positions of teacher to teach Law, oral law and the apostle’s/gospel message they neither understood what they were saying or of the things of Law and the Apostle’s. Again, some of these new converts to Christianity were women who had had prostitute roles in the temples, priestess positions, teacher and leadership positions and some had just been members of the cults and the temples to Diana. Recall again, these Epistles of Timothy and those connected make much various mentions of false teachers and teachings (1 Timothy 1:3-8, 19; 3:9; 6:3-9, 20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; 2:16-18, 22-23, 24-26; 3:8-9; 4:1-2; Titus 1:10-11, 14-16; 3:9-11; Acts 20:28-30; Galatians 1:6-9). Therefore, there must have been a problem! These women were used to being women in leadership, and women of authority, women who usurped, women who had dominion. Their flesh had to come into submission to righteous instruction of authority over them from Timothy and men. Until they learnt the doctrines “let the women learn in silence” (2:11). In other words, let these women learn about the Law all the Hebrew Scriptures (1 Timothy 1:7-8). Let these women humble themselves so they can be taught truth to come out of error. Let these women become Biblically and Rabbinical qualified before they can be teachers of Law (1 Timothy 1:7) and the apostles doctrines, let them fit the credentials of 1 Timothy 3:1-13 “apt to teach”. Until they matured they were unable to be released into overseership or teaching roles and or profess godliness within a house church(s) by those in authority over them. Promotion comes from Yahweh and this promotion would take considerable years before these unlearned women would be matured enough to teach (1 Timothy 3:6) therefore, childbearing was an option (1 Timothy 2:15). Teaching roles were not to be given to the women and any roles they had were to be taken from them as they taught not Jewish Law accurately or the foundational truths of the Gospel. They could teach not the Apostles teachings nor Paul the master builder teachings that were given to him by The Spirit of Christ Jesus, the foundational builder. They could not marry up Torah, Prophets or The Writing with Gospel or Apostle Truths to build thereon. How could they, they were inept of Torah, oral law, Hebraic understanding, they did not understand what they made assertions about. The women were teaching different doctrines (also men), because it was accepted part of their religions that women teach and train as the enlightened ones. These women knew and were given doctrines from the teachings and the spirits (1 81

Timothy 4:1) of the goddess’s. And these teachings of paganism were mixed into Jewish customs and teachings as a way of life. When truth and structure were established and all these problems restored and these women found to fit the requirements after they had learnt the truth in silence or in humility listening to be taught they could go back to their equal positions within the house churches and teach, proclaim, profess godliness if they were to be ‘called’ and ‘anointed’ by Jesus Christ. Maybe some chose child bearing and learning at home in the school of The Holy Spirit, maybe some did not choose to remain in the faith (1 Timothy 1:19, 5:15; John 6:66), maybe some did not stay sober (1 Timothy 2:15) and went back to the cult of Dionysus, maybe some wanted to be in venerated position of ‘enlightened ones’ so they no longer followed holiness (v. 15). In the early Church those who taught doctrine in Jewish tradition were those who had sat at the feet of Rabbi’s who were taught Scripture. These had memorized book by books of scripture. And their life revealed they followed The Torah and all the teachings of The Prophets, but, these women of Ephesus being either Jew or Gentile did not, they had no real understanding of Torah or the Prophets or the Writings as a total way of life and lifestyle. To add, in teaching about Ephesus, even Diaspora male and female Jews there had taken on the religions and the ways of life of the Ephesians, including magic. It is noteworthy to add here that in Israel not Ephesus there were various early followers of Jesus, some called themselves the Nazarenes, the Kesherim, the blameless ones; Hasidim, the pious who were believed to be the origin of many followers of Yeshua; Bannaim, the builders of God’s reign; Anshe Ma’sheh, doers of miracles. In this period of time women read from the Torah scrolls in synagogues and houses of study. They also prayed often with phylacteries (the leather boxes that contained Hebrew scriptures) and who presided as celebrants and sages in the community at Sabbath tables. 35. (Johnson 1991:14) Further, it is said by this writer that women and men served together as they were considered as a nation of priests according to the Pharisaic teachings that all creation reflects Yahweh’s glory. And she mentions women’s names appear along with men’s as leaders and members of ancient synagogues. Then she writes all these activities drove St. Jerome to lament years later, to claim that the trouble with Jews was that they give their women too much freedom. 36. (Johnson 1991:15) Also I read of Ann Johnston writings of her study into Jewish records dating from the second century of the Christian era of a rabbinic sage Beruriah who taught Torah all Sabbath night in her home until the hour of the Jewish morning prayers. 37. [Johnson 1991:15] 82

Therefore we see two sides of the coin; some rabbinic schools of thought honored women and considered to take the same positions in synagogue and also as Priests, created in the glory of Yahweh. And some Rabbinic schools of thoughts did not honor or glorify women but kept them suppressed in both pre Messiah and post Messiah times. Now recall, Paul is telling Timothy the law is good if a man uses it lawfully. He is telling him to keep living according to teachings in not allowing the learned in other religions and the unlearned, those particular females/women, those not chosen to teach to remain silent and not teach. Paul is charging Timothy not to allow these women to teach their own interpretation of law or doctrine when they have no rabbinic teachings or lifestyle in their background or those who were schooled in perverted Judaism. To note again, in the days of the apostles, they had the authority on doctrine and the teaching of the Law, and all laws, not someone who feeds from error or milk but only those given authority by the apostles or the appointed Church Overseers/Ministers like Timothy, Apolos, Pricilla and Aquila and others we read of. As these women were young in the gospel message and filled with error they were not to be given the authority, the dominion to teach doctrine or the law. So it is in this light again, that these women in these house churches at Ephesus could not teach doctrine that was contrary to that of the apostle’s authority and doctrines. Because when they did, they could be seen as usurping the authority of the apostles and those chosen by the apostles to make decisions of those who were to teach doctrine and law and the gospel message - “...nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence” (2:12) KJ. Well how does this all marry up with the following verses 13, 14 and 15 of this chapter you may be thinking! “For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.” 1 Timothy 2:13-15 KJ The word formed, does not mean created, but “mould, form, shape,” as mentioned in the Greek Lexion. Paul is not implying here only men can teach or man only has firstborn rights to be teacher or leader, but bringing out the truth he was instructed (formed) first in the ways of righteousness. He was not the one deceived/attacked because He had been taught or “formed” and had known the ways of righteousness that had guarded him only against deception. Or to follow through in Jewish thought, he had been to the house of books, learnt the first five books of Torah off by heart, and received his first fringes on his 83

prayer shawl. He had sat under “The Rabbi” “The Word” made flesh to learnt by discussion before Eve was created, it can be said Eve was Adams disciple. Therefore Eve, the woman was deceived, she had not been “formed” enough or taught enough. She had not learnt the first five books of Torah so to speak. Adam had been taught, this was why he was not the one deceived, but who willfully sinned (Job 31:33; Hosea 6:7) willfully transgressed. Eve was deceived as she had not been ‘formed’ and or instructed the ways of righteousness to the standard Adam had, as we know Adam was in the garden a considerable time before Eve was created. Paul’s main thrust of this Letter of 1 Timothy is false teachers/ings. Deception we know comes when we lack knowledge (Hosea 4:6). If we are not trained in the scriptures we are easily deceived. Paul warns us through The Spirit, “But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons, in hypocrisy of liars, being seared in their own conscience.” 1Timothy 4:1-2 He also tells us when we listen to false teachers we will receive another spirit other than the one we already received. We are to guard our hearts with all diligence (Proverbs 4:23) and Paul and Timothy are to guard the new converts to Christianity by teaching them correct doctrines. “For if, indeed, the one coming proclaims another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive another spirit which you have not received, or another gospel which you never accepted, you might well endure these.” 2 Corinthians 11:4 Consider, do you not think Yahweh knew that not only women would be deceived but also men? Therefore, why would He, will to say it is only women who are susceptible to deception so they cannot teach when He is The Alpha and The Omega. He knows both men and women will depart the truth, depart from the faith cleaving to deceiving demons and doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1-2). Again, why would this scripture refer to women are the only ones who get deceived therefore they cannot teach because they will teach us heresy and error? Truth is every denomination has heresy and error and we, every person, doctrines of devils deceive every man and woman. It is the nature of the game; it’s the strength of the spiritual realm against the natural carnal sinful person. Consider again, how many theologians differ in doctrine, how many denominations differ in doctrine? No offense, but the majority are men who founded these denominations; the majority of men are the theologians. Then how many of these men are deceived by devils “formed” or not “formed” therefore being formed 84

not discerning mixture - that to mean works of “another spirit”. I am sure you will see this joke concludes and sums up this thought. “The RABBI and the priest met at the town’s annual picnic. Old friends, they began their usual banter. “This over-baked ham with pineapple is really delicious,” the priest teased the rabbi. “You really ought to try it even if it’s against your religion. Tell me, when are you going to breakdown and have some?” The rabbi looked at his friend with a big grin, and said, “At your wedding.” 38. (Geraght 2006:) Now reconsider, “But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some [Does The Holy Spirit mean the “some” will be only women, because Eve was second born – Absurd, not at all! Words in brackets here mine.] will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons, 2. in hypocrisy of liars, being seared in their own conscience, 3. forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers, and those knowing the truth.” 1 Timothy 4:1-3 Paul goes on to speak through The Holy Spirit in verse 15: “but she will be delivered through the bearing of children, if they remain in faith and love and holiness with sensibleness.” 1 Timothy 2:15 Now recall these words given to Eve in the scripture below that her husband would rule over her because of her disobedience. Now we know that up to Jesus finished work, spiritually and naturally men ruled over women and held absolute dominance in the house and the things of God because of this curse. Or if you believe this rule was not ordained from Yahweh to be just a warning or an evident future or prophecy for the consequence of her deception and transgression. “Unto the woman he said ... and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” Genesis 3:16 King James “To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your grief and your suffering in pregnancy and the pangs of childbearing; with spasms of distress you will bring forth children. Yet your desire and craving will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” [I will follows through to he will rule – words in brackets here mine] Genesis 3:16 Amplified It is written by Mrs. Penn-Lewis that this verse 16 of Genesis chapter 3 has been “seriously mistranslated, so that its sinister influence upon the interpretation of the language of Paul may be destroyed.” Its correct rendering in light of the original Hebrew understood by her reference to Dr Bushnell’s exegesis reads as follows: “”Unto the woman He said, A snare hath increased thy sorrow and thy 85

sighing; in sorrow shalt thou bring forth children; thou are turning to thy husband, and he will rule over thee...”” This writer Mrs. Penn-Lewis records from her studies of Dr Bushnell’s extensive study on women from Genesis to Revelation that “no “shall” rule, is to be found in the Hebrew original, and “all the ancient versions testify that the verb is a simple future,” therefore no “rule” was pre-ordained by God. The words contained “a warning and a prophecy,” writes Dr Bushnell, “of what has been abundantly fulfilled...”” 39. [Pen-Lewis] However we see Katherine Bushnell leaves the word rule in the context of her rendering of these scriptures. Whether the husband ruling over the wife was a stated truth that resulted through disobedience that gave Satan the opportunity to become the god of this world and to cause men to rule over woman, or it was a pronounced directive or curse of God, today the rule with a capital R is cancelled, “it is finished.” Jesus has disarmed the Devil, has made provision for redemption from curses and is the Second Adam, the new man. 40. [Busnell 2003:] Jesus as the second Adam has the rulership of the earth and it is now His, not men or women’s and the enmity has been fulfilled. If a curse there is now provision for it to be broken, “Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree” (Galatians 3:13). The seed has been born and has risen and, we are under a New Covenant. “Father I ask you to release myself and the women of my household from the curse “he shall rule over thee and your desire shall be to your husband.” I give you praise and thanks and I claim the provision of release because of Blood Covenant. Amen and amen. Therefore woman has been freed up from husband Dominantly ruling over wife and man dominantly ruling over woman. Husband and wife, male and female are under the rulership of the Lordship of Christ as second Adam and as both Lord and Christ (Acts 2:36). Husband is head of wife, but not Head, therefore, man and woman are under the dominion the Headship of His Kingdoms way of life, we are both flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. Now recall what Yahweh said, “I will” to the enemy in the verse prior and the promise of a seed to Eve; “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15 KJ Now bring them both together what Yahweh said first to the enemy, then in verse 16 to Eve. Recall this interpretation is according to Dr Bushnell extensive exegesis; ““I am putting enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy 86

seed and her seed; He shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel. 16. Unto the woman He said, A snare hath increased thy sorrow and thy sighing; in sorrow shalt thou bring forth children; thou art turning to thy husband, and he will rule over thee....”” 41. [Bushnell 2003:] Yahweh puts enmity between the serpent and the woman, and Jesus Christ His Son the seed of Eve. Yahweh reveals to Eve this snare of the serpent has increased her sorrow and sighing, and in sorrow shall children be brought forth, and she will turn to her husband Adam and he will rule over her. Now recall to Adam Yahweh told him that the ground is now cursed because of his disobedience, and in sorrow he would eat of it all the days of his life. And in sweat he would eat bread and return unto the ground where he came from, dust he was and dust he shall return to be. So it could appear that Yahweh has only informed them of truths, but has cursed the serpent and the ground only. Now we know the last enemy to overcome is death, so death would appear to be a curse even though the word curse is not said. Therefore, when Yahweh said to Eve “he will rule over you” this could also be said and or appear to be a curse. But, either way, curse of Yahweh or a statement of a reality because of deception and transgression the husband would and did dominantly rule over the wife and the serpent became the god of this age. The cross is a finished work, Eve has been saved because of childbirth, woman has been saved because of her childbirth, the “shall rule” or “will rule” or “rule” is annulled, and the enmity is fulfilled. Jesus Christ the Seed has delivered us from this curse or prophecy and or consequence of deception of transgression. However, today Jesus Christ the Head of the body has still given the husband a headship, but he does not Rule and or RULE dominantly as he did under the Old Covenant. He is to love his wife as Christ loves the church and or all His people. And, praise Yahweh, in the things and or callings, gifts, ministries of The Lord “man is not apart from woman, nor woman apart from man in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 11:11) Jesus is Lord and is Head over both husband and wife and man and woman and has the Lordship to place women in the same ministry positions as men. Christ the Seed is born and is risen and ascended and has become the second Adam. He is the new man, He is Lord and Christ and we are all, as men and women are flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone, and are the one body (1 Corinthians 12:12), He the Head (Ephesians 1:22). All things have been put under His feet and we as His body are under His Lordship and Headship. We obey to live and walk in The Spirit and are yielded for His redemptive plans and purposes with our lives as 87

He proposes to anoint either man or women. Anoint both male and female, as He is Head over all things for the church (Ephesians 1:22). Therefore He does anoint women with whatever gifts and callings for the equipping of His body, for the work of the ministry and the building up of His body of (Ephesians 4:11, 1 Corinthians 12:27-28). Now we know Eve was told a seed would come against the serpent’s power. That she would bring forth this seed that she, as ‘woman’ would be saved by childbearing. So we know that Eve was the progenitor for this seed, the seed Jesus Christ. It is here that most writers’ say this verse fifteen refers to woman is saved by childbirth of the Savior; therefore she is free to take her place in the same ministry positions as men. Now we know Jesus Christ is the second Adam, He is Lord and Head and became a curse and was made manifest that He might destroy the works of darkness and has redemption in His blood the forgiveness of sins. Therefore this does give women the same opportunity as men for the equipping of His body, for the work of the ministry and the building up of His body. And we can rejoice as women and encourage our daughters and sisters in Christ to desire, covet, strive for these calls and receive them when they are laid on our hearts for we are “saved” through childbirth, the birth of Redeemer Jesus Christ our curse breaker, our victor, our redeemer, who has given us this birthright as His body. He is our Head and we can take the same places within the church as men as He wills to lay the call on or hearts. I disagree that the contextual view of verse fifteen (15) is women are “saved by childbirth of the Savior,” however metaphorically it can have that spiritual application. I believe Paul under The Holy Spirit is saying, going with the flow from verse eleven (v11); that women need to learn the doctrines of Christ, the doctrines of the Apostles and Old Testament teachings (“learn in silence with all submissiveness”) before she/they can teach and be given the approval of the authority of the apostles (v12). Because not being ‘learned’ or (“formed”) like Eve she will become deceived because Eve had not been fully instructed (“formed”) in the teachings of righteousness (v13-14). Therefore he forbids these particular women to teach, as they will be open to deception, the doctrines of devils and will teach “men” and women heresy, error and perversion of the gospel. I believe he follows on to say that because it takes years before being formed and or learned, the woman can choose childbearing and she shall still be saved if she desires the ministry of childbearing. Therefore in that time frame of not ‘intensely’ learning to aspire towards the 88

higher calls and appointments in the church (1 Corinthians 27-31) she will be exempt from obeying that part of the gospel teachings of God for she can have the ministry at home as a Mother raising children. So she shall not be judged for not being zealous and coveting these works (Titus 2:14; 1 Corinthians 12:27-31; James 2:14-26; 2 Timothy 2:20-21) and for not doing something with her talents (Matthew 25:14-30) and the callings that come without repentance (Romans 11:29). She shall not be judged for not going into the world and teaching to make disciples of men and women (Matthew 28:1920). Because she can choose the ministry of Motherhood over becoming a disciple who progresses to a Rabbi so to speak who makes disciples of both men and women and who is ready for any good work for His Kingdom’s plans and purposes. She can go from being a spiritual child to a spiritual mother. She shall be saved (Matthew 7:21; Revelation 20:12, 15; 1 John 2:15-17) and not be judged if she remains in the faith (Hebrews 6:12-15), or in Christ (John 15:4-5; Romans 8:5-9, 12-14; 1 John 2:15-17), obeying all His teachings (John 15:9-11, 14; Colossians 3:12-17; 1 John 2:17; Hebrews 5:8-9; 2 Peter 1:5-8, 1011; 2 John 1:9) and the teaching of love (1 Corinthians 13:1-3) for the law is fulfilled in obeying this law (John 13:34-35; Romans 13:8; Galatians 5:14). If she continues to depart from all iniquity (Matthew 7:21-23; Ephesians 4:25-32; Colossians 3:5-9; 2 Timothy 2:19) pursuing a life of holiness (Titus 2:12; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 2 Peter 3:11; Ephesians 1:4; 2 Corinthians 7:1) she shall be saved from being the servant who is cast into the outer darkness (Matthew 25:30; Galatians 6:7-9) for one day we will all as male and female stand before The Lord our Head who will judge our obedience our deeds what we have done in the body (Matthew 7:21-23; Ezekiel 18:24; Luke 13:24-26; Romans 11:17-24; 2 Corinthians 5:6-10; Colossians 3:17; 1 Peter 4:17; Revelation 3:5, 20:12, 15, 22:19) and reward us accordingly or condemn us accordingly. The works of darkness and many deceptions concerning women: ▪ That women have to wear head coverings or some type of westernized veil ▪

That men must lead in prayer at meeting

▪ Men must lead the devotions at home ▪ Men have all the firstborn rights ▪ That women cannot teach or learn or pray in public or men have to start prayer first at an intercessors meeting; ▪ That woman have no equal positions as the men within the Church as Apostles, Preachers, Ministers, Reverends, Priests, Evangelists, Prophets, Teachers, Healers and Workers of Miracles. 89

If these last verses is this truth that Paul is reminding the church; “women have been delivered from men ruling over them. Women have been restored to teach and be in leadership. I believe Paul is saying “You men are all aware at present there are many problems, many false teachings, many fortified strongholds from the multiplicity of deities of the goddess and Mother goddess religions and cults within this region. This great stronghold of feminine supremacy in religion in this region of Ephesus has to be demolished. Men you are to take a place within the church structure in Ephesus, not the preference of women in total dominion, but don’t forget women have been saved because of childbirth, Messiah was born and has redeemed women to equality to these very positions you are to take within the churches. But at present these women teach neither what they know or understand. I forbid these women to teach and have authority over the men who know Torah the ways of The Living God. This stronghold has to be demolished, men you are to take the places of authority and come out from under women supremacy over this city.” Paul is still saying women have their place within the Church to profess godliness. But considering the circumstances in this environment of one of the major religious centers of the ancient world, the church of Ephesus/the people had to come into Scriptural Godly order to have men in such position as women, not the domination of women.

Yet with the various versions how accurate is each Bible? How do present translations and versions compare with the oldest fragments of manuscripts in the earth today? Our modern-day translations of secondary translations, or a translation of a translation in this twenty-first century give loose wording are corrupted and Satan ensures they are written to bring forth error. Therefore we use them with care and discernment. The works of the kingdom of darkness have their workers and spirits at work through not only unbelievers but the believers that ommit and change words confusing contextual meaning. Thus they back up their heresy, error and perversion of the Gospel so the Bible not only loses power and truth for it and us, but brings doubt upon its truthfulness and accuracy. Regardless how people and how the enemy does their works they will never pervert it that we cannot be guided into all truth (John 16:13-15; 1 Corinthians 13:8-10; Revelation 22:18; Jude 3). Jesus is with us even unto the end of the world (Matthew 28:20). He will ensure that we observe all things; to keep and guard His Word as He promised (Revelation 3:10). However, disregarding The Word of God brings apostasy and damnable heresies (2 Peter 2:1-3). It is prophesied about the great falling away (2 93

Thessalonians 2; Matthew 24:22-24), those that walk after their own will and walk in the flesh will be deceived by seducing spirits (1 Timothy 4:1). When we are commanded to keep His commandments it is not just the ten commandments. It is all commands that are new covenant and those from the old testament that are not fulfilled (1 John 2:3-5, 5:2-3). We are to observe all things (Matthew 28:20). If He asks us to observe, keep, preserve and hold fast, He will watch over His Word to preform it. He will preserve His Word from being so corrupted so we can make disciples. We the Chruch of The Living God are the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15) when we obey His will and desire not just the milk of His Word we will be guided into all truth and The Spirit of Christ Jesus will glorify Him (John 16:13-14) by teaching us all that Jesus The Word speaks. We have to search and study to prove truth as corruptions have been from the beginning to now and will be to the end of this world. Test and approve all things as there will always be false apostles, deceitful workers transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) Regardless of the omission of words and translations of translations Christ Jesus promised us He will preserve the older manuscripts. He has “promised to preserve the letters of Scripture down to the smallest stroke of the pen (Matthew 5:18), but He also said, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable..." (2 Tim 3:16) “The most important primary translations are the Septuagint, Syriac Peshitta, and Latin Vulgate because they have been translated directly from some form of the Hebrew or Greek texts.” 1. [Wegner 1999:241] If the original was "given by inspiration of God" does not faith dictate that our final ancestors would retain that inspiration. “Notice in the verse it says, "IS [not was] given by inspiration", and that it says, "ALL Scripture". That would indicate that every correctly translated word is "given by inspiration of God". So we have the inspired Word of God both in the originally given languages (Hebrew and Greek), and we have it in many other different languages also.” 2. [Cited 28/12/19] As John Henry also writes in his article Sanctify Them By Your Truth “GOD HAS OVERSEEN THE PRESERVATION OF HIS WORD AS HE PROMISED: "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, THOU SHALT PRESERVE THEM FROM THIS GENERATION FOR EVER." (Psalm 12:6-7) "As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy 94

mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever." (Isaiah 59:21) "The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations." (Psalm 33:11) "For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations." (Psalm 100:5) "The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness." (Psalm 111:7-8) "O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For ... the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD." (Psalm 117:1-2) "Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever. ... Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever." (Psalm 119:152, 160) "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." (Isaiah 40:8) "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Matthew 5:18) "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." (Matthew 24:35) "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. ADD THOU NOT UNTO HIS WORDS, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." (Proverbs 30:5-6) "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. ... What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it." (Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32) "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But 95

the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." (1 Peter 1:23-25) "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take THE WATER OF LIFE [God's Word - Eph. 5:26] freely. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:17-19) "The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor." (Proverbs 22:12) "For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven."

(Psalm 119:89)

"Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." (1 John 5:6-12; cf Ephesians 5:26) TRANSLATION OF GOD'S WORD CARRY WITH THEM DERIVITIVE INSPIRATION OF THE ORIGINAL: Just as in the days of the apostles with the supernatural gift of the ability of speaking in languages never studied, likewise the "the interpretation of tongues" (1 Corinthians 12:10) was also given for edification. In the same way God supernaturally guided in the translation of His Holy Word into Old Latin and other languages and in these last days in to English. The Apostle Paul wrote:

96

"I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying." (1 Corinthians 14:5) "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. 14 Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it." (Isaiah 28:9-18; cf Acts 2:4-11, 3:19; Matthew 27:22-25; 1 Peter 2:6-8) The primary purpose of the Word of God is to disannulled man's covenant with death and hell through faith in Jesus Christ, "a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation" (Isaiah 28:16). On the day of the Feast of Pentecost God spake by unlearned believers from Galalee "with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people" (Isaiah 28:11). Fifty days after the resurrection of the Lord Jesus on Pentecost "... Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven ... were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? ..., [W]e do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God." (Acts 2:5-7, 11) These Galilaeans were the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ who were given special ability to speak in languages they had never learned in order to tell those who could not speak Hebrew the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. They all perached in various languages and 3,000 received Christ wand were baptized that day. 97

In similar manner God gives His Word through translation into other languages, overseeing the work to insure 100% accuracy in verbal equivalence. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:15-17) The English word "inspiration" is found only once in each of the two testaments. In the Old Testament it is in Job 32:8 where says, "But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding." The Hebrew word used in Job 32:8 is "neshawmaw" (Strong's Hebrew #5397) and it is found 24 times in the Old Testament. It is translated most often as breath 14 times, but also as breathe 2 times, breathed 2 times, blast 2 times, spirit 2 times, souls 1 time, and inspiration 1 time. The first use of "neshawmaw" is in Genesis 2:7: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." A few other examples of the use of "neshawmaw" are: "All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died." (Genesis 7:22) "All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils." (Job 27:3) "The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life." (Job 33:4) "The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly." (Proverbs 20:27) "... he that spread forth the earth ... he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein." (Isaiah 42:5) A study of the Old Testament word "neshawmaw" reveals that a primary and basic meaning is the impartation of life. In the New Testament the Greek word "pneo" (Strong's Greek #4154) is equivalent to the Old Testament "neshawmaw." An example of the use of "pneo" is found in John 3 where the Lord Jesus was teaching on being "born again." The Lord said: 98

"... Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth [pneo] where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit." (John 3:5-8) The word "water" in John 3:5 above is symbolic for the Word of God (cf. Ephesians 5:26; Isaiah 55:10-11; John 15:3, 17:17; Psalm 119:9). Both water and wind (air) are essential for physical life. Likewise the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are essential for spiritual life. God breathed life into the words of the Scriptures, and life begets life. "God formed [Adam] ... and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life ..." Adam then begat sons and daughters. Likewise God breathed life into the words of Scripture and they literally beget born again people. "Of his own will begat he us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." (James 1:18) "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 Peter 1:23) Now the phrase, "given by inspiration of God" in 2 Timothy 3:16 comes from the Greek compound word, "theopneustos" (Strong's Greek #2315). It comes from the word "theo" meaning "God" (Strong's Greek #2316), and "pneo" (Strong's Greek #4154; cf. #1720) which means to breathe, to blow. "Pneo" is the equivalent of "neshawmaw" that we saw in John 3:8, and is also the root word for "pneuma" which means "spirit" (Strong's Greek #4151). In similar manner to the way physical life begets physical life and the way we are born again through Holy Scripture and the Holy Spirit, likewise the words of the Scriptures pass on their life when they go from language to language. The original "breath of life" from God or "inspiration" continues in copies and translations that are true to the original words of the Scriptures. The King James Bible is such a true translation. It received it's life from the Hebrew, Greek, Latin and other manuscripts that God provided for the translators. Some would have us believe that translations are not "given [bestowed, dispensed] by inspiration of God" is "given life by God." My question to that is, If it was not "given by inspiration of God," then how did we get it? And if it is not inspired 99

(living), then is it not expired (dead)? We contend that translations of faithful copies of God's Word are also "given by inspiration of God" and are likewise profitable! We contend that every book, chapter, and word of Scripture was "GIVEN" by derivative inspiration from God and that He superintended in the translation. "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." (Proverbs 21:1). 3. [Cited 28/12/19]

I realize John Henry exalts the King James Version. However, “The King James scholars could have known fewer than twenty-five late manuscripts of the New Testament, and these were carelessly used. Today there are 5,358 known New Testament manuscripts and fragments. The 1611 situation for the Old Testament was even poorer. The Complutensian Polyglot (1517) and the Antwerp Polyglot (1572) would have been the sources from which they would have known the Old Testament. Where these two differ, the KJV agrees with one or the other except in about a half-dozen places where it agrees with neither… About 800 Hebrew manuscripts have now been studied.” 5. [Wegner 1999:309] Thi is why we use many versions, many translations; to test and approve all things, all doctrines, all truth. The Holy Spirit will enlighten truth and the most accurate as we sit at His feet. This is a reason why I write various versions as we are to have faith that we will be led into all truth as we learn to discern The Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:5-6) Ruth Tucker addresses this passage (1 Timothy 3:1) in her book, Women in the Maze. After quoting 1 Timothy 3:1-4 (NIV), she says this: “The King James Version and other translations have rendered the second phrase of this passage: “If a man desire the office….” This has given strength to the argument that this passage applies explicitly to the male gender. “But the Greek pronoun tis refers either to a male or a female.” Thus, the rendering of this word as “anyone” or “whoever” is more accurate. But if this pronoun does not restrict women, so the argument goes, surely the specification that an overseer be “the husband of but one wife” points exclusively to a male. Since a woman cannot be husband of one wife, it naturally follows that she cannot be an overseer. But the matter is not quite that simple. We must determine whether being a husband of one wife is actually a qualification or whether it is rather an assumption that Paul makes. It would seem that Paul is assuming that the individual who desires this office is a man, that he is married, and that he has children. Assuming then that the man is married, he must be “the husband of but one wife”; and assuming he has children, they must “obey him with proper respect.” It is unlikely that being a male, being married and having children are qualifications for leadership, since Paul himself probably could not have met two of those three. Furthermore, Paul placed high value on singleness, actually referring to it as a “gift” in 1 Corinthians 7:7. Those who argue that being a male is a qualification for overseers are inconsistent, if they do not also insist that marriage and parenthood be qualifications—which places them in opposition to 1 Corinthians 7…” 6. [Tucker, 119:1992] 103

As we read above in chapter 3 of 1 Timothy verse 1, some translators imply generic “if anyone reaches out to overseership” (IL); “if anyone aspires to the office of bishop,..” (RSV); “if anyone sets his heart on being an overseer....” (NIV). But, in most other versions it is written, “if a man desire the office of a bishop....” (KJ) yet some versions do follow with “likewise the woman” which is consistent with overall teachings of the Letters for all the Bride of Christ. Etheridges version from The Aramaic Peshitta writes 1 Timothy 3:1, 11-12 as follows: “This saying is faithful, that if a man desire the presbyterate, a good work he desireth. 11. Thus also must the woman be chaste, and they shall be vigilant (in their) minds, and faithful in every thing; and they shall not be accusers. 12. The ministers shall be (of them) severally who have one wife, and shall rule each his children and his household well.” 7. [Cited 5/01/19] Etheridges rendering to infer mans qualifications seperate and also womans qualification to be presbyterate as separate and permissable. Wives being addressed from verse 12. The following verses by Torah of Yeshuah on line accessed Peshitta Aramaic-English and Hebrew Bible-Epistles of Paul to Timothy 1-2, Titus & Philemon writes three different renderings. Bringing us back to rendering according to bias, doctrine intent, and modified according to their understanding. Adding another number to the manuscripts of The New Testament of the Peshitta; “more than 350 are known to exist.” 8. [Wegner 1999:244] To add The Peshitta New Testament is simply a translation of the Greek. 9. [Wegner 1999:244] So again we trust The Holy Spirit to give us most accurate rendering. “1Timothy 3:1 - ‫ מהַ ימנָא הי מֵ לתָ א דֵ אן אנָׁש ָראֵ ג קַ ִׁׁשיׁשּותָ א עבָ דֵ א טָ בֵ א ָראֵ ג‬. 1Timothy 3:1 - This saying is faithful, that if a man desire the presbyterate, [Kashishutho.] a good work he desireth. 1Timothy 3:1 - It is a faithful saying, that if a man desireth the eldership, he desireth a good work. 1Timothy 3:1 - THIS is a true saying, If a man desires the office of a bishop, he aspires to a good work. 1Timothy 3:11 - ‫הָ ַכנָא אָ פ נֵׁשֵ א נֵהויָן נַכפָן ונֵהוֵא עִׁ יר ֵרעיָנהֵ ין ונֵהויָן מהַ ימנָן ּבכֻל מֵ דֵ ם‬ ‫ ולָא נֵהויָן אָ כלָן קַ רצֵ א‬. 104

1Timothy 3:11 - Thus also must the woman be chaste, and they shall be vigilant (in their) minds, and faithful in every thing; and they shall not be accusers.” 1Timothy 3:11 - So also should the wives be chaste and of vigilant minds; and they should be faithful in all things; and they should not be slanderers. 1Timothy 3:11 - Likewise their wives must be chaste, have an alert mind, faithful in all things, and they must not be slanderers.” 10. [Cited 05/01/19] Man’s qualifications are noted in accordance with and in harmony with all the Bible because he is firstborn; male is to have ruling place in the body of Christ. Not that these positions only applies to men and for men, for in verse 11 the qualifications of a woman and a wife as an overseer as written deacon has the same criteria if she is called of God. I believe woman is permitted to aspire and to be in leadership positions. Overseer positions or deacon positions are moreover given to the men, however it is as He wills to give gifts, ministries and anointing according to His will to Govern His Body The Church (1 Corinthians 12:10-12, 2:9-10, 7:7, 12:4, 18; Ephesians 4:7; Hebrews 2:4). Recall Romans 16:1 Paul commends unto them Phoebe who is a “diakonos” of the church which is at Cenchrea. Paul under inspiration of The Holy Ghost is not forbidding women to take overseership/bishop/deacon positions within the church at Ephesus. Yet studies say Paul is also addressing the circumstances of that church at that present time. There were problems in the city of Ephesus of female supremacy among the cults and temple religions. Women are saved by childbirth; the seed has been born and has been raised releasing women to a rightful place now within the church for this dispensation of the Eternal Blood Covenant. This dispensation of now, which is to be “the women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host:” (Psalms 68:11 NASB) “Men don’t think its a man’s domain only in Christianity because remember women were “saved” because of childbirth, Mary birthed the Messiah who redeemed women from the curses of the law, and has taken away the enmity “it is finished” (John 19:30). Jesus’ heel was bruised and Messiah bruised his head (Genesis 3:15). Jesus is now the second Adam, the new man, now men are not to be Ruling over women; women can have ministrial positions with men in the Kingdom of God, they have been restored saved by childbirth, saved by the birth of The Savior.” “… man is not apart from woman, nor woman apart from man, in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 11:11) 105

In the background of this letter to Timothy, Paul is addressing a stronghold within the culture and customs of Ephesus’s religions of female dominion and idolatory. Men are to take the positions with the house churches as of days of old. The Church - all the Christians of Ephesus within their house churches are to have male participation not women dominating. The practice within the temples in Ephesus was a stronghold of the female in leadership and in priesthood. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 is very similar to Ephesus as many writers agree. The city of Corinth being a pagan city where women were temple prostitutes in the Temples of Ishtar. Except these women would have sexual intimacy with demons and men in worship services. These women would become very loud and orgasmic in their worship. So when these women came into relationship with Jesus, they brought their loud style of worship with them. So they still had much flesh structures to be brought to death. Much learning to do about the way the Word instructs to worship in righteousness. When Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35; “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak: but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 He writes about the women in light of them who were separated from their husbands in services. They sat in women’s sections with the children and their babies. If they did not understand something they would shout out to their husbands. This is what Paul meant when he tells them to ask their husbands at home and said it is a shame for women to speak and disrupt in church in such disorder. Paul wanted order in the Church’s service, not disruption all throughout the service. It is in this context that women were to keep silence and not permitted to speak and to ask their husbands at home this would stop them disrupting the teaching, preaching. And consider this instruction does not line up with the other accounts of women in same positions as men as written in Paul’s other Epistles; of the women who are deaconesses, who preach, teach, and lead and who are apostles. Therefore Titus 1:5-9 and 2:1-8 and 1 Timothy 3:1-13 have to be interpreted in light of translators, culture, circumstances, purpose and even the city in which it was addressed by Paul. It is evident that if a woman is or aspires to the office of overseer or deacon she must fit the same criteria as a man; she cannot be there just because of women 106

supremacy. Neither can man or woman take it up as a vocation or a chosen career as it is a calling from God as He wills to put man and women in leadership or Pastoral Ministry. Of course persons do make the choice out of their own will, and the enemy has his servants who transform themselves as workers of light. Also, we may not be spiritually discerning and believe He is calling us to the ministry so we go under spiritual deception. I have written in the previous chapters about Ephesus and the stronghold of feminine supremacy coming from Diana within that city. Women within the temples had positions of mediators and were given authority and leadership because of the stronghold of goddess worship. Women who converted to The Gospel teachings of Christianity were to come into submission, and come into order and the criteria of overseership. Also to firstborn/source headship and men being more predominate in Leadership. Women were not allowed to be in such positions just because of cultural religious woman supremacy. Paul gives instruction to Timothy that if any man even thinks to take a position of overseer or deacon he must fit this criteria written in verses 2 to 9. If a woman is called or if she thinks/aspires she must be “likewise” be what applies to her and to be dignified, not a malicious gossip, temperate and faithful in all things. Paul writes on how one ought to be if a deacon or deaconess and how one ought to conduct oneself in the household of The Living God. In Titus there is no mention of woman only man, therefore it is necessary to address this within the context of the whole letter. In this letter from Paul to Titus, Paul has left Crete (1:5) to go to Nicopolis (3:12). Titus remains and is instructed to organize the churches by appointing elders in every city (1:5). He is to address a number of diverse issues within the Jews, the circumcision who teach error for sordid gain (1:10-11) and the Jews and Greeks that engaged in “Jewish myths” (1:14) and is to rebuke them (1:13) and teach by word and example. Titus also is to instruct the churches of the role of older and younger men and women (2:2-10) and slaves (2:2-10) and advocate submission to the rulers and to authorities (3:1-2), then to meet Paul in Nicipolis (3:12). Titus is within congregations on the Island of Crete who were not only Greeks but mostly Diaspora Jews. Who were all accustom to the Greek and Jewish culture of male dominance. Men in these Churches had male dominion because of Mosaic Law, Jewish culture, custom, tradition and Rabbinic teachings and as well as the Greeks culture, custom, tradition and teachings of their false gods. It is within this light Titus is instructed by Paul’s letter to address men only. There were those of the circumcision, the Jews who taught false teaching, and those who knew Jewish law but did not fully understand it - the Greeks and Jews and those who gave heed to Jewish myths and the commandments of people devoid 107

of truth both Jews and the Greeks. It is these types of men who had Eldership positions within the Church. Titus was to bring order, to silence them and teach truth, teach correct doctrine. He was to reappoint elders who were able to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict sound doctrine. He was to set in order the disorder of those in Eldership positions who taught false teaching and who deceived for sordid gain. He had to reappoint the male elders from those who were rebellious, empty talkers and deceivers and who would upset whole families with false teachings. Therefore males were only addressed in this circumstance; there was no need to address women in leadership, as the problem was the male elders were not properly qualified to keep their positions. Thus, Titus had to reappoint the men’s positions in line with the qualifications of an Elder set out in Paul’s letter. Now we know that in Timothy women were able to be Elders, Deacons or Overseers. But in this circumstance on this Island of Crete men needed to be brought into submission to godly order and qualifications of Eldership, for the problem existed amongst the men, not the women. Recall we have seen Paul the master builder permits women to take exactly the same positions as men within the Church structure. Women in Jesus eyes are accepted as fellow servants for all works, calls, gifts and anointing’s and spiritual blessings within His Church. For to Him there is neither male nor female (Galatians 3:28) and that woman who came from male are not independent of each other in the Lord for both are from God (1 Corinthians 11:11-12; Galatians 3:28) and both male and female are flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone (Ephesians 5:30) and all female and male are members of His body (1 Corinthians 3:10) living stones (Ephesians 2:21-23) His workmanship created in Christ Jesus female and male for good works (Ephesians 2:10) and are no longer strangers to the Covenants of promise (Ephesians 2 :12) but in recipient of Blood Covenant, fellow members of the body and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel (Ephesians 3:6). It is written of women praying and prophesying at the church at Corinth. Consider why Paul is allowing these women to not keep silent and pray and prophesy in the church when he supposedly tells them in the following chapter 14, verses 34 and 35 to keep silent. Therefore keeping silent refers not to praying or prophesying or speaking as a woman in the midst of a congregation or from the sanctuary. Scripture will always answer scripture, scripture does not contradict itself, and one will always find the interpretation of scripture no matter how perverted some portions of scripture have been translated by translators from their own bias or ignorance or what may be a 108

nations tradition. Yahweh’s word will never pass away; it will never return unto Him void, He has ensured through the centuries that other versions reveal the true translation of that particular scripture or scriptures if one would seek to find as the treasure of the truth will be revealed. 1 Corinthians chapter 11 is a book that follows this book to concrete that women can be called to the same positions as the men as Yeshua wills. I am not addressing marriage, but in the things or in ministry places and positions in Christ for the building up and edifying of His body as He will, not as she wills. Lets not forget Deborah the prophetess (Judges 4) Huldah the prophetess (2 Kings 22) Prophetess and Leader Miriam the sister of Moses (Exodus 15:20-21), Teacher Priscilla (Acts 18:26), the four daughers of Philip who were prophettessees (Acts 21:9) and Deaconess Phoebe (Romans 16:1) Evanglists Tryphena and Tryphosa and Persis (Romans 16:12). Yeshusa anointed all these and others as leaders over men and teachers of men/males with authoritative leadership. To add women were in the seventy sent (Luke 10:1). In the conclusion, in a nutshell, the glory of women along side the glory of man, both equipped to be in ministry position, power and authority in Christ is permitted. Both partners in Kingdom business, both called according to His will for His redemptive plans and purposes as He wills. As He permits as He wills, whatever Yeshua binds or looses for the overall ministry to His body the Church is His will for reconciling all things to Himself. As according to Acts 2:17 He pours out His Spirit on all genders. He shall continue to permit women for certain church leadership positions as men as He appoints. The Doctrines, the Church would be in a bigger mess if it only allowed males in leadership. Depriving the churches of able and gifted women in leadership would be the quenching of The Spirit of Christ Jesus (1 Thessalians 5:19). Studied neglegance of Scripture will only continue to take away the truth that THE KINGDOM HAS COME AMOUNG WOMEN. Be blessed and be a blessing

To A Thousand Generations of Women Jesus laid the foundation and to Peter He said “upon this rock I will build my Church. The keys of the kingdom (Matthew 16:13-19) were not or are not only given to men, the keys are given also to women. Callings and promises are not exclusive to male only, but both being His body, His Betrothed, His Bride, His Living Stones, His Temple, His Body as flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone. Jesus did not take from men their first-born authority or their headship in a marriage, neither did He make woman equal with man. Yet He did make provision for them to be called according to His will and purposes for His Government for His Body by permitting them in Leadership positions of authority over men. Paul the master builder to whom He gave the specifications for His Church. Paul was to reveal women were in ministry positions, and permitted to hold the same positions of ministry as men in his writings throughout the Epistles. Called from the womb of my Mother to write this book I now fully believe The Kingdom has come among women to permit them in the same ministry positions as men only if called of Christ Jesus. The study in this book will give you a biblical understanding of the contended verses that have been used to not permit women in ministry. Inside this book you will know the truth and truth you know will set you free. Free to be woman that Jesus Christ has called and will ordain you to be in His Kingdom as woman.
