Letter from Your Lieutenant Governor

Hello Division 25W, How do you feel!? It’s summer and school’s out and that means it's time for summer vacation! But hold on. That doesn’t mean you should slack off and don’t care about Key Club during the summer. In fact, summer is the best time to go out there and help out your community. So take some time out of your summer to volunteer and serve your community. My name is Kathryn Aung and I’m your lieutenant governor for Division 25W and hopefully by the end of my term, I will get to meet and bond with each and every one of you. If you have any service projects or events that you would like me to be there, please invite me so I can participate with you. Please tell your clubs to update the Club Officer Contact Information (COCI) on the Texas-Oklahoma DIstrict website (www.tokeyclub.com) if you have not done so. But if you have, thank you so much! I have more information about COCI on pg 11. I am looking to have our regional training conference (RTC) and our first divisional council meeting (DCM) some time during August so if you have any suggestion or preference about the location or the date, please let me know and I’ll take that into consideration. One last note, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns or suggestions. I would love to hear from you and get to know you. Have a glorious summer! Dcon theme pitch Are you creative? Do you have a great idea for the DCON theme? Submit your ideas in a presentation format to Kelly Poland (kelly.poland@yahoo.com) and CL-Dajah Brooks (epabrooks2000@gmail.com) Things to include in your presentation are: Your vision for the stage, t-shirts, pins, souvenir bags, badges, theme games and anything else that would make DCON great! It also needs to be reasonable in cost and do ability." While DCON is far in the future, we have to start planning it now. These are due this Friday, June 2nd. This is YOUR year. YOUR convention. It is up to you to bring some ideas to the table, and they don't have to be perfect. Any theme or idea that you have ever hoped to see at DCON, this is your chance for it to be presented.
