FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY PROGRAM Hopewell Redevelopment and Housing Authority The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) program is designed to assist participating families in achieving financial stability by increasing earned income. Residents in the program work closely with a case manager to establish goals for up to a five year period of time. Program participants can work on furthering their education, enroll in job training programs and much more. Participants have a maximum of five years to complete goals they establish while in the program. An opportunity to earn escrow funds is also available to those whose income increases while in the program.
