A Brilliant Comp For Bocce

On Wednesday 15th March the Newmarket Bocce Club held their first competition for the year and the attendance was outstanding.

The social precision bowl competition served as an ‘ice-breaker’ event and comprised of 23 players with four games being played. Prizes for first, second and third placed were on offer.

Club members also enjoyed a delightful dinner with a three course meal, coffee and biscuits. In the inclusive spirit of all things bocce, a few of the players family members came along too. There was cannelloni, roast pork and salad followed by ice cream and fruit salad. Throw down some vino, and a perfect time was had by all.
