Fragrance Trend Booklet
A fragrance Trend booklet that demonstartes key trends that have been seen in 2014 and what are likely to be predicted to be seen in 2015 in the fragrance advertising industry. My Booklet contains 4 key trends consisting of, Location & Place, Story & Narrative, Casting & Model and Shape & Silhouette. I believe my booklet indicates my thoughts on where I think the fragrance industry is likely to go.

A 1000 word essay where we had to analyse a Fragrance Advert of our choice, created in the style of the magazine that we had taken inspiration from. The Advert I chose was DKNY MYNY and the Magazine used for inspiration was Interview, as I liked the simplistic edgyness of the magazine in contrast to the girly and feminine feel of DKNY’S Fragrance Advert with Rita Ora.

Our first group presentation where we had to show our research and initial concepts for our fragrance brand, by showing an understanding of the fragrance industry. by researching into macro and micro trends we found key insights into the ‘ageing world’ and ‘The Fear of the Unkown’. Also, we gathered information about the fragrance industry off mintel and showed an understanding who our target consumer would be.

We had the opportunity to work with second year graphic design students within this project. Our brief was to create a booklet for our graphic design team, demonstrating our ideas and thoughts on the design of how we wanted our product and packaging to look like.
