the heart behind the signs As we look forward to spring and summer this year, I sense a need to remind ourselves of the things we hold most dear- things like our core beliefs, the people we love, and the purposes God has laid out for us. As our world continues to be unsettled and unexpected, it’s those things in our lives that become all the more important to lean into. With them as our focus, I believe it is essential to be intentional with the spaces in our home. When our core beliefs and values meet beauty and comfort within our spaces, they begin to transform from house to home. That’s what the 2022 Collection is all about- defining the values that we hold dear, and reminding ourselves of them daily. Even more, doing so in ways that create beauty in our spaces and tells a story of who we are to all who enter. This year’s collection contains fourteen signs intended to refresh your home for spring and beyond. More than that, we believe they will refresh your heart, too. Because at the core of who we are, we believe that we are refreshed as we create a haven for others within our home. This year we were thrilled to partner with Indiana artist, Nicole Mehl, to collaborate on five new art pieces. Each one is paired with a key verse or sentiment chosen by the artist that reflects the heart behind the artwork. We love the extra layer of depth and meaning this adds to the pieces. In addition to that, we’ve carefully chosen words and phrases for this collection that invite connection, grace, and love to fill your space and become the focal point of your home. We couldn’t be more thrilled to offer this new collection, and we can’t wait to see the life and joy these signs bring to your space for years to come!

nicole mehl
Nicole is an artist from small town Indiana. She married the boy next door and together they have four children. She creates art in her studio, a little room in the basement of her home. This space is like a personal sanctuary, the place where she can work with her hands and connect in prayer and worship with the Lord. Her paintings are made intuitively, she works in the moment and there usually is no plan for what the final outcome will be. She is always looking for that which inspires a creative spark, sometimes a song, a bible verse, the colors of a sunset, the shape of a flower in the garden, light dancing on the wall in the afternoon, or a person that is on her heart. Nicole hopes that her work reflects peace and evokes a longing for what is eternal to the person that is encountering it. “...what is lovely, what is pure, what is true...think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
