WINTER 2020

HEY FRIEND,

it’s time to get cozy At Joyfully Said, one of our favorite things to do is to welcome each season with fresh decor that turns the place we live into somewhere that we love to be. As winter approaches, our minds have turned to snow, pine, and all things cozy. So we wanted this season’s Joy Box to reflect those things as well. No matter what winter looks like where you live, the items

in this box are a perfect way to bring the sights and smells of the season into your space. We designed this box with a coffee table scene in mind, but of course the items can be split up and used all over your home! Read on for some of our favorite ways to style this season’s box, and snag yours today!

enjoy!

Styling Tip The items in this Joy Box lend themselves perfectly to a cozy living room scene. The tray can be styled on a coffee table with the house, tree, and candle inside of it. The pillow has just enough color to pop on any couch, and the sign ties it all together with the subtle hints of green and red. Don’t be shy about adding a festive table runner to complete the look!

TIDINGS OF COMFORT & JOY This new design is hot off the press, just for the Winter Joy Box! Combining the right amound of whimsy and style, this sign is quickly becoming a winter favorite around our shop. Shown here with our festive Plaid About You sign, it is the perfect statement for a mantle or above a couch!

Styling Tip A bedroom perfectly sets the stage for the items in this box. With the sign situated above the headboard, the pillow easily finds it’s home on the bed and the tray can sit on a dresser or nightstand once you turn down the sheets. We added a festive throw to the bottom of the bed and love this look for the 16 hours a day that you’re not catching some zzz’s!

Styling Tip Something we are learning: don’t be afraid of those layers, girl! Whether it’s another sign, or a mirror and a vintage window like it’s shown here, don’t be afraid to layer your sign with other pieces. It sets the sign as your focal point and draws your eye to it!

MAKER SPOTLIGHT

Meet Laura and Dana Putnam, the couple behind the operation at Finding Home Farms. What started as a hobby in their basement quickly turned into a company selling maple syrup, pantry goods, candles, and other home decor items. The Shine Bright candle in this season’s Joy Box comes from their farm in New York state, and we could not love their products more! We stock them in our shop and love them so much that we wanted to share them with all of our Joy Box recipients!

Brian and Tammie Imel are the brains behind the design and production at Union Farm Goods. Union Farm Goods got its start in early 2016 when Brian and Tammie decided to design and make a few trays for family and friends. They loved what they were creating, but at that point saw it as simply a hobby. Within a few short months, it grew into a budding and successful business. They are the makers of the beautiful tray in this season’s box. Their handmade, quality products are a neutral and unique touch to any space!
