Focusing on problems and complaining about them accomplishes nothing, except to steal energy from us that we could be using to put towards the solu ons to them! What we focus on will magnify. It is directly ed to a>tude. A person with the habit of seeing the posi ve in all situa ons will be much happier than those that see more of the nega ve. The best news of all is that how we respond to situa ons is out of habitual thinking and old programming. “Why is that the best news?â€?, you might ask yourself. Because, if you want to, you can change your response to any thought by merely thinking before you respond, instead of reac ng to them as you always have. We do have a choice to think and respond or to stay stuck in an old rut, which, by the way, a rut is merely a grave with the ends kicked out. When we change to a new and be5er way of thinking, those around us reap the beneďŹ ts and in turn, are much more pleasant to be around. Come to think of it, there is absolutely no good reason to whine and complain about anything, now is there? The mustangs are doing well. Brilliant A>tude has been going to fair parades and horse shows and is really enjoying all of the a5en on he is receiving. Cindy changed BA 2’s name to CC Serenity and I think he likes it be5er. There is a nice story in the making with him and Cindy as they develop in their rela onship.
Keep watching our FB page believe that the me I spent with Brilliant A>tude ( Denniscappelhorsemanship) for upcoming events to raise funds to ensure Brilliant A>tude comes back taking him through my “Agility Courseâ€? has allowed home to Missouri aGer the sale Join our newsle5er list him to gain conďŹ dence in training, which is making the to stay in the know at www.denniscappel.com journey with him much easier than some in the past. For that, I am extremely grateful! Brilliant A>tude is a Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey! very trus ng horse that really tries his best to understand what I am asking of him. Several of my Dennis & Brilliant Attitude Agility Course students and I drove our horses in the Lincoln County Fair Parade. I had Brilliant A>tude with this group and he walked down Main Street as comfortable as an old show horse. Then on Wednesday, we went back for his debut as a show horse at the County Fair and once again, he was solid as a rock. This was only about the 4th me I had loped him and he picked up the correct lead both direc ons. He was very solid at the walk and trot as well! I'm looking forward to advancing him so that we can see what he is capable of at even higher levels.

August 2017
August 2, 3 August 2nd 9am-August 3rd Hiking survival School August 3rd, 6pm– August 4th 6pm Equestrian Extension 8-12th Grades and Adults welcome! Experience level: No experience required. Taking a hike or a horseback ride in one of St Louis’s many beautiful parks is fun and enjoyable until something goes wrong! Unforeseen circumstances like sudden weather changes, trail wash outs, an injury, falling off and losing your horse and even your horse spooking and running with you for a few miles from your intended trail do happen. Preparing for these events take a little planning, skill and a “go kit” that includes the tools you will need. We’ll use Hidden Acres Homesteads large acreage & trails to learn to prepare for losing your trail and finding yourself on-the-grid without cell phone service; even to be able to handle the unexpected overnight out in nature! Go Kits are included! The evening will include a camp out with tents and cooking with cast iron over the campfire! Www.holistichorsemanshipllc.summe r-school.html lisa@holistichorsemanshipllc.com

Tranquil Companion Healing touch for Animals Ž Encompassing animals with energetic healing through stress and pain relief. Imagine being able to study the Equine Iris and determine whether you should ride or show today– and what to do about it‌
This is all possible with Equine Iridology Ellen Collinson School of Equine Iridology hosted by Tranquil Companion, enrolling now for September classes! Iridology is one of the most beneďŹ cial and rewarding sciences one can learn. It is a safe and painless and non intrusive form of diagnosis, via the study of the iris using magniďŹ ca on. In this way inherited gene c strengths and weaknesses as well as tendencies toward certain ingrain/system dysfunc on may be ascertained. Professional iridologists agree that acute, subacute, chronic and degenera ve condi ons of the body are all reected in the iris. Iridology is now part of the curriculum for many colleges, including, the medical schools in Moscow and in the Medical Department of the University of Paris Nord. Which is why French equine trainers know immediately what an equine iridologist is.
Ellen Collinson’s School of Equine Iridology is now being oered in the Un!ed States, hosted by Tranquil Companion. Cer ďŹ ca on can be completed in as li le as ďŹ ve days. Curriculum includes four levels of training with prac cal's at the end of each day, books are included. We oer cer ďŹ ca on, life me mentorship, advise, and tools for se+ng up your own prac ce as well as lis ngs on the Tranquil Companion and the Ellen Collinson’s School of Equine Iridology Resource Page and Websites. HELPFUL HINTS SUMMER HORSEKEEPING Well, it's summer. And, it's hot. You're comfortable in your air-condi oned house. But, are you thinking about your horse? How comfortable is he/she on these hot summer days. Well here are a few ps to help your horse deal with the heat. If you stable your horse, you'll want to make sure your barn has good air ow. Fans on your stall fronts, or above can help move air around. Be sure to consult an adult for help in hanging the fan so it is electrically safe and in a place where your horse won't get to it. Make sure your horse has plenty of water throughout the day. A li5le y spray on your horse wouldn't hurt. Be sure your horse's stall is clean and comfortable. If your horse is in a dry lot or pasture, a loaďŹ ng shed or tree shaded area can protect them from the sun. A reliable clean water source or water tank should be provided. Fly spray and a y mask are good for outdoor horses. Be sure to check your y mask daily for proper ďŹ t and to make sure that the horses eyes remain unharmed. There are y sheets and leg wraps made to keep ys o of your horse, but be careful. You don't want your horse to get too sweaty under these. As always a healthy horse and neat surroundings can help your horse be comfortable. Have a safe riding summer!
