Nature of support 2011/12 The additional money received as a result of PPG allowed us to over staff by 1FT teacher. This has enabled the coaching and development of other teaching staff to secure Quality Wave 1 teaching across the school. Writing at KS1 and KS2 have been identified as particular focus areas.

In addition to this the additional funding has supported the 1:1 intervention of vulnerable children across Key Stage 2.

Curriculum focus of PPG spending 2011/12 Supporting 15 children in English and Maths across Key stage 2, through 1:1 and small intervention groups. The impact of this was that all children receiving 1:1 made outstanding progress in writing and maths. Considerable investment in IT has supported learning across all phases.

Measuring the impact of PPG spending The impact of this was outstanding progress made (4APS) across all groups of learners including those entitled to FSM, SEN and those identified as vulnerable.

95% of learners made 2 levels progress from KS1 – KS2 in English 2012.
