Hello! Bright Shadow’s mission is to enable people with dementia, and those affected by it, to live well and to thrive through Brighter Quality Care. We are experts in creative activities that are fun, meaningful, accessible and challenging and that promote wellbeing. Bright Shadow is passionate about Brighter Quality Care, which is invigorating, mood boosting and relationship enhancing. We firmly believe that life and fun shouldn’t stop once you reach a certain age or receive a diagnosis of dementia. In all of our work we celebrate the here and now, ensuring that people with dementia enjoy a bright today and a bright tomorrow. We deliver training that enables people to confidently deliver high quality, creative activities with people with dementia. Vital to achieving Brighter Quality Care is staff that are well cared for, inspired, equipped and empowered. We take the same approach to working with staff as we do with people with dementia: we want people to thrive. We want to enable people to deliver creative care and activities in a way that suits their personalities, talents and skills. Through a combination of sharing knowledge and information and practical hands-on learning of new skills, our training and staff development programmes are designed to discover, encourage and nurture the best in people.
