Kaustubh Kulkarni / Syl

As a multidisciplinary artist and architect, I strive to bring a unique perspective to the field of design. My work is driven by a passion for creating narrative-driven spaces and designs that are both thought-provoking and functional. I have honed my skills through a variety of experiences, including architecture, interior design, landscape design, illustration, concept art, and graphic design. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in Los Angeles, where I am furthering my education and gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Prior to my studies, I co-founded and served as the principal architect of CanvasBorn Design Studio, a boutique architecture and interior design firm based in Bangalore, India (2019-2021). In addition to my traditional design techniques, I am also proficient in using software such as Blender and Unreal for 3D modeling and rendering, as well as incorporating an AI-based workflow into my methods, readying myself for an evolving industry. With my diverse skill set and professional experiences, I am committed to making a positive impact on the design world. I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead and am eager to use my knowledge and passion to create works that are both beautiful and meaningful.
