Standard for Performance Evaluations There should be 3 meetings a year. An action oriented plan at the beginning of the school year (or a new employee meeting upon starting), a mid-year follow up (between semesters), and end-of-year review. These meetings will involve students meeting with their supervisors to talk about performance, goals, and problems within their work. Set a meeting time that works for both parties. Supervisor should send out performance evaluation to student 1 day before the meeting so the student has time to fill out the progress report. o Come prepared with performance evaluation completed. Discuss performance evaluation: Complete Performance Evaluation Plan of Action: Discuss what areas of performance employee will work on during the next trimester (or between this meeting and the next) Set goals: Talk about overarching goals, and set small term goals. Set next meeting time
