hese imported cutters are meant to deliver solid results for home hobby and light production users at an introductory price point. Excellent for vinyl, card stock, and paint mask applications, these machines are a great way for new users to build their business on a budget. Very thin media like laminate and window tint can cause static interference issues so it is not recommended, as well as very thick materials like sandblast mask and reflective media. Creating
designs on apparel with rhinestones is easy with tools from USCutter. From the rhinestones themselves, to the sticky flock, to the transfer tape, to the vinyl cutter, everything you need to get started is available, as a kit, or separately. To make a rhinestone design, simply cut your template into the sticky flock using your vinyl cutter (USCutter has a variety of craft cutters including Table Titan and Cameo Silhouette). Vinyl comes in cast and calendered varieties. Cast vinyls are thinner, more conformable, and last longer on a surface without shrinking. They are ideal for curved substrates like auto exteriors and cycling helmets and for vinyl application over rivets and other irregular surfaces. Calendared vinyls cost less but do not last as long. As they age the vinyl will shrink and pull away from the substrates. Use calendared vinyl for short-term applications.
BLADES
Blades are made from carbide steel and have different angles for different cutting applications. Each blade should be kept in its own blade holder to facilitate easy interchange during operation. USCutter recommends you replace your blades and cutting strips every six months to ensure continued cut quality.
Transfer tape preserves and protects the integrity and spacing of your vinyl graphic as it is transferred from the release liner of the vinyl to the desired mounting surface. It comes in 3 tacks (levels of stickiness) for different applications. Most applications require a medium or high tack tape, while a thicker low-tack tape is useful for providing rigidity when placing wide format digital graphics on a substrate.

TEMPERATURE •Most heat transfer vinyls require the temperature to be set between 295° and 320°, while sublimation occurs in a higher temperature range of 350° to 400°. •Heat presses can be off a few degrees, so do a test press first with some scraps of fabric and vinyl to ensure your machine is correctly calibrated.
COLD/HOT PEEL
•Usually the pressure setting for your heat platen must be manually set with a knob.
•Different heat transfer vinyls require that you remove the carrier sheet at different points following the heat press cycle.
•Most heat transfer vinyls and sublimation applications require medium pressure. Some textures like holographic or glitter require firmer pressure, but careful you don’t leave the knob cranked too much. This can lead to damaged equipment.

Using your inkjet or laser printer, simply print the mirror image of your design onto this heat transfer paper. In the case of light-colored garments, weeding of this image is not necessary-the ink-free portion of the background will not transfer. Heat press onto your fabric for a washable design with a soft hand. And unlike with sublimation, you can print on cotton with this product.
