Welcome Educators and Administrators, The Sparta Area School District and Innovative Educator Consulting are teaming to offer a two day summer “Mobile Literacy Boot Camp.” This innovative technology event will offer dynamic learning opportunities to focus on building a collaborative culture to learn and lead in the digital age. The twenty technology infused a la cart sessions will inspire collaboration and sharing of integration ideas, to help you strengthen your K-12 mobile teaching and learning instructional approaches. We believe that new, innovative forms of professional development are the cornerstone to building educator capacity in the digital age. To excite and engage our next generation of students, we are offering educators and administrators a unique opportunity to re-envision your curriculum in ways that are relevant for today’s digital learner. Virtual Keynote Presenter Building a Collaborative Culture to Learn and Lead in the Digital Age Dyane Smokorowski is an Instructional Technology Coach for the Andover Public Schools USD 385 in south central Kansas. Her 21st Century classroom is centered on higher level thinking skills and real world applications. As a former elementary and middle school classroom teacher and as a current Intel速 Teach Senior Trainer, Dyane has helped lead her district, along with many others across the country, into opening new avenues of technology integration, professional development, and project-based learning.

About the Presenters Jeannette Armstrong is currently a K-2 Learning Support Teacher and District Technology Coach in the School District of Holmen. Jeannette regularly provides staff development trainings in Technology Integration and Differentiated Instruction. During the 2013 year, Jeannette also began teaching iPads in the Lifelong Learning Department at Western Technical College in LaCrosse. Jeannette’s passion lies in researching new and innovative applications and theories of technology infused instruction. Tammy Lind is currently a Technology Integration Coach for the School District of South Milwaukee. She is a Google Certified Trainer and has been instrumental with “Going Google” in South Milwaukee. Prior to becoming a technology integration coach Tammy worked as an elementary classroom teacher, a special education teacher and a math specialist in the Milwaukee Public and South Milwaukee School Districts. Tammy specializes in using Web 2.0 tools with both teachers and students. Beth Lisowski is currently the Assistant Middle School Principal and Technology Integration Coach for the Whitehall School District. She is a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer and an Adjunct Professor for Viterbo University. She has presented at local, state, and national conferences. She has also hosted workshops, held summer technology camps and lead in-services at many school districts. Her passion is engaging students in learning by using technology. About the Presenters Jennifer Malphy is a 4K-12 Teacher Librarian and District Technology Coordinator for the Kickapoo Area School District in Viola, WI. She loves using technology with her students and has been a leader in getting eReaders, specifically NOOKs, into her building and in the hands of teachers and students. He is currently a 1st Grade Teacher and District Technology Integration Coach for the School District of Holmen. Tim enjoys teaching and sharing best practices with staff to further their learning in fun, unique, and enriching ways. Some of his technology integration focus areas include work with Web 2.0 Tools, iPads in the Elementary Classroom, and using Google for organization and to meet the daily tasks of an educator. He works to share and collaborate with educators globally to provide motivating, and engaging 21st Century learning opportunities for both students and staff. Deb is an enthusiastic presenter who understands what it takes to effectively integrate technology into a learning environment. He is also a graduate faculty member for the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, working with practicing educators earning their Masters degree in Professional Development. He’s been an administrator in Wisconsin since 2003 and before that he was a principal and teacher in Illinois, New Mexico, and South Dakota. Jena Sherry is a middle school math instructor though the WI Virtual Academy. Her passions is integrating technology seamlessly into classroom practices to motivate students, and sharing tips and tricks with her colleagues is very rewarding. Additional Staff Jeff Harm is an IT Support Specialist with Innovative Educator Consulting. Jeff’s network administration expertise allows for all of our technology integration workshops to have a technical strand and support focus to make sure the technology works seamlessly within the k12 educational environment. Jeff is our lead trainer and technical support specialist for our Adobe Connect trainings and webinar offerings and also our lead IT specialist for our Google IT deployment and LMS integration with Course Director. Kim Berg is a Virtual Administrative Assistant for Innovative Educator Consulting. She has been working for Naomi in various capacities for the past 9 years and enjoys all the technology tips and tricks she’s learned along the way. Being a “virtual” administrative assistant has given her the flexibility to continue working while juggling the responsibilities of being a full time mom to her three young children.
