Job Opening: Seasonal Maintenance Laborer
The Peterborough Department of Public Works is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Laborer. This is a temporary/seasonal part-time position that will be staffed approximately 28 hours per week. The starting pay for this position is $15.50 per hour, but is negotiable based on experience.
Job responsibilities will include routine mowing and maintenance of cemeteries, parks, recreation grounds, and facilities grounds. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Specific experience operating mowing and landscaping equipment is preferred but training can be provided.
