The Town of Jaffrey is accepting applications for the position of Afterschool Program Coordinator. This is a part-time position (28 hour/week, 45 weeks/year) responsible for the directing the town's afterschool program, including planning, implementing and coordinating all details of the program. The program coordinator provides leadership in developing and maintaining extended learning programs and out-of-school activities as well as services that are coordinated with school day learning and goals, both academic and social.
The Afterschool Program is a cooperative effort between the Town of Jaffrey, the JaffreyRindge School District and the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club to resume afterschool activities that ceased in 2020.
Salary $28/hour DOQ

Grand Monadnock Youth Choirs is seeking a teach- er/conductor to lead rehearsals with GMYC's youngest ensembles, Rise Up Peterborough and Rise Up Keene for the 2024-2025 Season. GMYC's Rise Up ensembles provide the opportunity for children in grades K-3 to sing, dance, move, and learn music togeth- er. The Rise Up teacher/conductor will teach music literacy including sol-feg and kodály rhythms alongside aural skills, spoken poetry, folksongs, spirituals, and standard choral repertoire, within a performance-based growth mindset framework.
Each session of Rise Up takes place over the course of 8 weeks, culminating with a private and immersive showand-tell style performance for Rise Up families and their guests. There are three Rise Up sessions per year for each ensemble: SeptemberNovember, January-March, March-May.
Qualifications include:
* Bachelor's Degree in Music plus 2 years of relevant work experience, or at least 5 years of experience working in the field of Music Education
* Demonstrate commitment to the Monadnock Region
* Flexible schedule, including the ability to work occasional additional rehearsals, and for events on weekends
* Pro-active, flexible, and positive attitude
