Truck Driver General Laborer

The Peterborough Public Works Dept. is accepting applications for a full-time Truck Driver/ General Laborer.

Job responsibilities include the operation of heavy equipment including dump trucks, plow trucks, backhoes, loaders, and other equipment in support of Dept. objectives; manual labor in support of the maintenance of public streets, sidewalks, drainage systems, and other Town-owned property, including buildings; roadside mowing; street sweeping; traffic safety; and other duties as required to help achieve Dept. initiatives. Persons with construction, carpentry, landscaping, paving, building and facility maintenance, or similar skills and experience are encouraged to apply. Normal working hours for this position are Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm 10-hour workday schedule, with mandatory overtime for emergencies and weather events.
