ice painting
Need a way to enjoy the outdoor elements without spending hours outside this winter? This easy and fun painting project is the way to go!
Step one: Gather icicles from outside or, if none are available, use ice from the freezer. Place into a plastic bowl or dish on top of place mat or craft mat.
Step two: Put water into water cup for easy rinsing of the paintbrush. Step three: Using the watercolors, paint any design or paint randomly. This is a perfect opportunity to talk about primary and secondary colors and about mixing colors to create colors. Step four: Easily rinse your ice or gather new ice or icicles to create new projects. Step five: Freeze to save! Optional: Paint outside on the icicles or snow or bring the icicles or snow into the bathtub!
