My Pop Rocks He’s there for early mornings and late nights; he helps tack up the horse and hold the chaps; but what matters the most is he is there for the ups and downs and all the emotions along the way. Whether it’s your dad, grandfather or another father figure, the Pinto Horse Association “dads” are a large part of each exhibitor’s support system.
When at the horse show, dad’s don’t always get the thank yous they deserve. Exhibitors are always so busy, something as simple as saying thank you can get overlooked. Today is Father’s Day, the day to say thank you. Youth and amateur exhibitors alike have father figures in their lives that are proud of their accomplishments. These fathers enjoy sharing show
memories with their families and friends. To show appreciation, exhibitors can pick up a “My Pop Rocks” button at the show office, Pinto Place and other areas around the barns. Exhibitors can also take these show “dads” out to the PWC Welcome Party tonight in the Exchange Building at 5:30 p.m. for some free food and fun.
