While the Halston Pub has been around for years, it is still considered a hidden gem by those who frequent the recently renovated establishment. The Halston Pub has flourished under the direction of Chef Brian Vlodder, who is known for making some of the best soups in Kamloops. FALL, 2010

In his kitchen, everything is made fresh, from the sauces and dressings to the halibut, which he filets and batters or pan fries upon order. Hungry? Portion sizes are huge — so much so that the menu now boasts half-portions for those who just can’t handle the full plate. Great, fresh and homecooked food, served by friendly staff — that’s what you’ll find at the Halston Pub.
