After 33 years, over 100 wins, and a number of championships, Kevin Hanifan, the Varsity Head Football Coach, has announced his retirement. His dedication and enthusiasm to the football program will be sorely missed. Firebird Nation wishes Coach Hanifan, a man who truly bleeds blue and gold, all the best in retirement. Going forward, the program will be in the capable hands of Mr. Eric Meisse ’06. Go Firebirds!
The Girls Varsity Crew team may have been cold at practice on November 5, but the sunset did not disappoint. The team worked hard, trying to squeeze in the last few rows of the season. Here’s to a successful winter training and spring season!
The end of an era for the Moulder siblings... Tori ’16 and Colleen ’19 pose with their sister, Teresa ’22, after her last home volleyball game at the Bird’s Nest. Coach Cathy von Schoenermarck said, “For 14 years, the Moulder siblings have graced the court with their athleticism, poise, and leadership.” Part of Kellenberg’s volleyball legacy not pictured are Liz (Moulder) Knudsen ’09 and Billy Moulder ’12. Firebird track alumni enjoyed catching up at a varsity football game at Mitchel Field on October 22.
