Staff Spotlight This month’s staff spotlight features Trevor M., who is a concierge that works Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Trevor has worked for the Residences for a few months and has quickly become an asset to the Concierge staff. Trevor says that his favorite part of the job is the fact that he has a lot of interaction with our residents. Trevor grew up in Assonet, MA and attended college in Washington DC, where he was a Political Science major. He moved
back to New England a few months ago and loves being back in the area. Trevor likes the small town familiarity of Providence, as well as the proximity to the beach. Trevor enjoys eating out in Providence, and his favorite restaurants are Nick’s on Broadway and Andino’s on Federal Hill. In his spare time, Trevor enjoys spending time with his family in Massachusetts, boating and eating out with friends.

Resident Testimonial This month’s testimonial comes from a married couple who made the decision to purchase their residence after leasing it for a few months. They loved the services, their neighbors and the location of tower in Providence, and we are so happy to have them stay! 1. How did you come to live at The Residences? We moved to Providence from upstate New York to be closer to our children, especially our daughter and son-in-law who live in the Federal Hill neighborhood, and other family who live in New Bedford. Before deciding on a specific location, we used a real estate agent who showed us many different neighborhoods in Providence. Almost immediately we began to focus on downtown condominiums. 2. Why did you chose The Residences? What made you purchase at the Residences? In comparing the amenities associated with downtown condominiums, the Residences clearly stood out as offering the best. We loved the location and the luxury. 3. Have you used the concierge or Westin Hotel Services? Yes we have, but not on a day-to-day basis. However, we know they are there if we need them. They have always been most helpful when we have used them. 4. Are there any stories about living here that you would like to share? An observation: we have met wonderful neighbors here at the monthly social gatherings. 5. What do you like about living in Down City Providence? We love the convenient access to fine restaurants, theaters, libraries, museums, churches, Water Fire, farmers market, shopping, convention center attractions. That only begins to cover the advantages of Down City Providence living. 6. What floor plan do you have an why did you choose it? We have floor plan A3. We chose it because it was the perfect size for us. We wanted to make a radical down size move from our five bedroom home. One bedroom would have been too small, other units were larger than we needed at this stage in our life. (Our four daughters do the holiday entertaining now.) We also like the sunset view.
