Wardrobe This might be the most important part of the workbook to fill out! Wardrobe is everything and will make or break your session! Most people online have a very limited attention span, so we want to connect with them quickly. The best way to connect with someone in an image is through their eyes and through their smile. Your wardrobe can either distract the viewer from your eyes and smile, or they can help to enhance your eyes and smile. We will go over wardrobe more in depth during your consultation but for now here are a couple of tips! Wear solid colors, avoid distracting prints
Make sure that words are easy to read Bright colors can be great, but go neutral when in doubt. Feel free to layer your clothing Keep jewelry minimal unless making a statement Shoes rarely make into personal branding photos Choose natural, neutral or skin tones for nail polish Wear fitted clothing Aim for clothing that also compliments your location Transitional lenses go dark in great lighting, so have a backup plan Glasses can be angled to reduce glare Try on all your clothing in advance. Have everything ironed, on hangers and ready to go days before your photoshoot.
Props
Props can be a great way to quickly communicate what you do, or give you images that relate to the content you're creating.
To help you brainstorm potential props. I've created some questions for you to ask yourself so that you can think about the content you need.
What is a process you have with each client?
What items do you use for business everyday?
What are some themes you blog about?
What do you have in common with your ideal client?
Now that you have thought about the different props you could incorporate in your business, take a look at the list below. This list is meant to inspire you, but keep your eyes peeled and see If there's anything you can bring that's unique to your business. Remember to focus on props that will allow you to communicate with your ideal client or that will allow you to create more content for your business. If it's important in your branding for you to stick with a color scheme create a mood board and try to stick with those colors as you choose your props.
