SPOTLIGHT ON NEW AFFILIATIONS

Dental Care Alliance is proud to have been selected as the business partner of choice by several newly

affiliated practices. The DCA family has welcomed 12 new affiliations, representing general and cosmetic

dentistry, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, and sleep apnea

treatment. With these new affiliations, DCA expanded its footprint into three new states in 2018: West

Virginia, Ohio, and Texas. Please join us in welcoming them to the DCA family!

Led by Dr. J. Scott Eckels, Eckels Orthodontics has served the Mid-Ohio Valley for over 25 years with three office locations in Parkersburg, WV; Ripley, WV; and Marietta, OH. The practice provides many orthodontic treatment options including traditional braces, Invisalign ® and Invisalign Teen ® , clarity (invisible) braces, TMJ treatment, surgical orthodontics and more. Eckels Orthodontics was recognized in 2018 as a Diamond+ Invisalign ® Provider and is highly regarded as a top Invisalign ® provider in the Mid-Ohio Valley. The practice is proud to offer the latest orthodontic technology including accelerated treatment that stimulates tooth movement through gentle vibration with Acceledent, 3D radiology and imaging with an iCat Cone-Beam scanner, 3D scanning with an iTERO scanner and more. Eckels Orthodontics joined the Dental Care Alliance family in June 2018. The practice has demonstrated year-overyear growth for the past 16 years. Since that time, they have added a new provider, Dr. Golnaz Kavand, to help expand their schedule and offer more flexibility to patients.

Argyle Dental Center of Jacksonville, FL provides general and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, sedation dentistry and more. They also have an on-site lab to better accommodate their patients’ needs.

Ballston Dental Arts of Arlington, VA offers general and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, emergency dental care, Invisalign ® , sleep apnea treatment and more under the care of Dr. Duke Kim and Dr. Nitin Rajput.

Buford Family Dentistry of Buford, GA is a full-service general dentistry practice providing dental implants, veneers, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, periodontics and more under the care of Dr. Sunil Mittal, Dr. Joann Soh, Dr. Ankit Patel, Dr. Michael Cohen and Dr. Kara Kramer.

In the future, the practice plans to grow through several identified DeNovo sites and new affiliation opportunities in the area.

iDentity Orthodontics provides orthodontic patient care from two conveniently located practices in Grayslake and Kenilworth, IL. The philosophy of Dr. Michael Stosich and iDentity Orthodontics is to provide patients with a personalized, attentive and compassionate experience to achieve the smile they have always dreamed of. iDentity Orthodontics is highly respected as the orthodontic practice of choice in the greater Chicago market. Founder Dr. Stosich earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois, before earning his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he also completed his residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Made Ya Smile provides comprehensive general, cosmetic, and specialty dentistry at 13 locations surrounding the Houston area. They provide comprehensive dental care to patients beginning at age three. Founder Michael Kesner, DDS is a Texas native and has been practicing dentistry in the Sugar Land community since 1984. Dr. Sheila Birth earned her bachelor’s degree from West Texas State University, her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, and her Master of Science degree in orthodontics from University of Oklahoma.
