ADTO 2022 Black-Tie Gala & Awards Ceremony

The ADTO put time and resources into launching an event that was only a few months into the making. The Annual Black-Tie Gala & Awards Ceremony presented by the Association of Dental Technologists of Ontario took place on Friday, October 21, 2022, at the CN Tower. After a cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, this was one of the most sought-after events in the dental industry. The night was filled with many professionals, such as RDTs, dentists, and industry leaders from all avenues of the dental umbrella. This night was dedicated to bringing the dental technology industry together and bringing light to our resilience as a profession. We started with an inclusive cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour, which led us to our delicious ‘Taste of Greece’ dinner. Twelve specialized choreographed performances from Samba Heat and Sahab Habibi had us all in awe – truly a night to remember.

A Leadership Award was granted to Franklin Parada, DD, RDT, for “Outstanding Vision, Dedication, and Commitment to Excellence.” We got to connect with our audience, collaborate with all kinds of interesting people, create meaningful memories, and enjoy the thrill of growing registration numbers and hype around our event and brand. But in the end, it’s all about results, and, to that effect, the event report is the undisputed piece-deresistance. This event report illustrates the performance and success of our event with all kinds of data. That’s why it’s important to do it right and do it like the ADTO. Still, we could not have achieved such an enormous guest count and validated appreciation without our most reputable supporting sponsor Ivoclar. We thank Mr. Rob Mior for his continuous effort in supporting the ADTO and providing invaluable benefits to our membership.

ADTO will continue to remain the authoritative voice of dental technology in Ontario, and we thank our members, partners, and external agencies for their continued support. Stay tuned for more information on our next event. Please visit www.adto.ca to see all the photos from the event.
