EXCLUSIVE MpH TECHNOLOGY FOR pH MODULATION
Actyva Coloro introduces the new MpH technology that modulates the pH of the colour mixture depending on the activator used.
Thus, the same product can be utilised to achieve different results and meet multiple needs:
• Covering grey/white hair with a natural-looking effect while minimising hair colour regrowth
• Adding shiny, long-lasting tones to natural hair
• Restoring the level and tone of processed hair, leaving it silky soft and lustrous
To obtain these results, Kemon’s Research and Development laboratories have designed two different activators, created synergistically with the hair colour:
1) 10-volume Actyva Coloro Cream Activator is specific for natural hair and develops a slightly alkaline mixture that does not change the base colour level. It makes it possible to cover grey/white hair up to 60% with extremely naturallooking and shiny results At the same time, it makes hair colour regrowth minimally noticeable and adds lustrous and long-lasting tones to natural hair.
2) 6.5-volume Actyva Coloro Cream Activator is intended for processed hair and develops a mixture with an essentially neutral pH that restores the colour level and tone while leaving hair radiant and conditioned, vibrantly and luminously coloured.

KEY INGREDIENTS
Velian Complex
In 2006, in the hills of Umbria – not far from our plant – we converted 20 hectares of land to organic farming.
This is how we started a long and intense period of experimentation with the plants in our “open-air laboratory”, a research activity that still goes on today and has led us to achieve unprecedented results for cosmetics. After a long period of studies, we selected four plants for their emollient and soothing properties. These plants, native to the area, hardy and resistant, do not need a lot of water and are grown in accordance with organic farming techniques in our Kemon Open Lab.
Velian Complex is the result of the combination of:
• Mullein (Verbascum densiflorum): with soothing powers
• Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum): with calming and refreshing powers
• Flax (Linum usitatissimum): with protective and emollient powers
• Dyer’s Chamomile (Anthemis tinctoria): with antioxidant powers
The result is a patented blend of plant extracts, the fruit of extensive scientific research conducted by Kemon in collaboration with Vivacell Biotechnology (Denzlingen, Germany) and the University of Ferrara.
Actyva Coloro has been enriched with this very important ingredient to boost the protective action on the scalp throughout the entire colouring process.

Organic helichrysum from our Kemon Open Lab
Scientific studies have demonstrated that “specific blends of extracts of mullein, helichrysum, flax and dyer’s chamomile, produced using plants grown in accordance with organic farming techniques in our Kemon Open Lab, possess noteworthy anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant characteristics” and that the patented Velian Complex blend produces an important synergistic effect, with results greater than those expected from the sum of the individual extracts.
Coconut oil
Coconut oil is a key ingredient that gives Actyva Coloro some of its more peculiar characteristics.
Coconut oil, due to its intrinsic low-melting-point properties, enables very quick mixing with the activator, almost immediately giving a gel-textured blend that goes on easily and instantly.
Additionally, it is rich in lauric acid, a substance that is highly similar to the hair’s protein structure. For this reason, it penetrates deep inside the cuticle, preventing damage and partly acting as a carrier for colour pigments, thus lending a richer, more vibrant and lasting colour result plus a protected fibre.

All formulas* are certified “Green&Clean Cosmetics”, a self-imposed procedural guideline that sets very high standards for our research and development of every product in the line. THE PRODUCT
Available in two strengths, Coloro Cream Activator features a smooth texture and acts synergistically with Actyva Coloro. It is in fact an essential complement to the exclusive MpH technology that enables pH modulation in order to achieve maximum coverage and extremely lustrous results.
Both Coloro Cream Activator formulas are enriched with Velian Complex, which is also found in the colour. Coupled with the coconut oil contained in the colour formulation, this ingredient delivers a highly conditioning mixture.
The opportunity to choose between two activators and modulate the pH level of the colour mixture allows for service diversification, making this product a must-have for the salon.
Coloro Cream Activator comes in a 1000 ml GREEN PE* bottle.

Directions for use
Actyva Coloro is mixed at a ratio of 1:1 with 10- or 6.5-volume Actyva Coloro Cream Activator, depending on the desired result.
Correctors/Intensifiers
This colour series is used to intensify the tone or personalise the end result. The Red, Copper and Violet shades are mixed at a ratio of 1:1 with the activator and can be used either on their own or in combination with the other shades.
In the latter case, it is necessary to add the amount of activator corresponding to the sum of the quantities of corrector and shade used
Example: 30 ml of 6.4 + 30 ml of Copper + 60 ml of Actyva Coloro Cream Activator, selected based on the desired effect.
Actyva Coloro Gloss, either on its own or in combination with the chosen shade, can only be mixed with 6.5-volume Actyva Coloro Cream Activator at a ratio of 1:1. Depending on the desired tone intensity, the amounts to be used vary as shown in the following table:

Colour and tone
On colour-treated or bleached hair, this service enhances the colour’s beauty, expression and longevity while adding maximum gloss. It is usually provided during regrowth touch-up processing. It is ideal for toning hair after any bleaching technique, as the colour palette offers a wide range of shades, especially in the cool range that is particularly indicated for this type of service.
Mix: 60 ml of Actyva Coloro + 60 ml of 6.5-vol. Actyva Coloro Cream Activator.
Application: either on dry or damp hair.
Processing time: 20 minutes if the hair is colour treated; check visually if the hair is sensitised and porous.
Rinsing: once the processing time is up, emulsify, rinse thoroughly and finish with a specific post-colour shampoo.
Colour and strength
This service is especially suited to recover the structure of damaged and sensitised hair. The synergistic action of Actyva Coloro and Actyva Nuova Fibra Serum allows for one-step hair colouring and restructuring, providing fullness, a compact look, strength and extreme shine.
Mix: 15 ml of Actyva Coloro + 15 ml of Actyva Coloro Gloss + 30 ml of 6.5-vol. Actyva Coloro Cream Activator + 30 ml of Actyva Nuova Fibra Serum.
Application: on freshly-washed and towel-dried hair.
Processing time: 15 minutes.
Rinsing: once the processing time is up, emulsify and rinse thoroughly. If necessary, apply Actyva Nuova Fibra Mask throughout the mid-shafts and ends. Leave in place for 5 minutes. Emulsify, rinse thoroughly and proceed to dry.

Colour and luminosity
This service is provided to cover grey/white hair up to 60%. It stands out from traditional grey/white coverage services in that it does not change the hair’s natural colour and allows for longer-lasting results without the brassy tones that are typical of extremely alkaline hair colourants. Indeed, the exclusive MpH technology, coupled with low oxidation, keeps natural melanin from being affected.
Mix: 60 ml of Actyva Coloro + 60 ml of 10-vol. Actyva Coloro Cream Activator.

Application: on damp hair.
Processing time: 15 minutes.
Rinsing: once the processing time is up, emulsify and rinse thoroughly. If necessary, apply Actyva Colore Brillante Mask throughout the mid-shafts and ends. Rinse thoroughly and proceed to dry.
Colour and shape
This service is provided in combination with the Unamy Wave treatment. More specifically, it replaces the second application of neutraliser, restoring disulfide bonds as well as the colour faded during the waving service.
Directions: at the end of the processing time after the first application of neutraliser, remove the rods and apply the desired shade mixed with 6.5-vol. Actyva Coloro Cream Activator. Leave in place for 8 minutes, then rinse.
Tips for rinsing Actyva Coloro quickly
During rinsing, the product creates a foam that will disappear completely once the shampoo is applied.
