PHOTOGRAPHY My next step was replacing the paper by a plain woven cotton. Monoprinting on textile has a different effect. In contradiction to paper, a woven textile already has a textural network on its own. Photographing these cotton monoprints while draping, creasing and pleating them added motion and shadow to the network patterns. This is how a twodimensional network turned into a threedimensional network.
