This is an Ad design for an engagement ring for a male who is educated but does not have a disposable income. I chose to have the words algined like this to form a box of sorts, but placed the “O” of over outside of the box to really draw your attention to it. When I placed the Ad on the page I wanted the ring to be the center of the page. I used a gradient on “over” to have it draw more attention to the ring.
This is an Ad design for a gaming system for a boy or girl that is between the ages 14 to 18. I chose to have the phrase “do not overthink this� in lowercase and form a PS4 controller to show which system is in the Ad. I then put the same phrase over the top of the controller in all caps to really have it pop at you. I chose the background to be a blue color because blue is strongly associated to PS4 when it comes to gaming systems.

This is an Ad design for soil premixed for gardening for ages 36 to 42 with a disposable income. I wanted to show rows of soil for gardening, so I used photoshop to make the phrase “DO NOT OVER THINK THIS� do just that. I did not want the letters to look perfectly warped because soil has lumps in it. I did not want it to take up the entire page because I felt like the feeling it all blurred together and made it hard to understand.
This is an Ad design for a tour of Las Vegas for ages 18 to 24. I wanted to resemble the welcome sign of Vegas so I tried to find fonts and colors that closely match the actual sign. I chose the background color to that of the night sky because it makes the sign pop and that Vegas is not Vegas unless it is at night.

This is an Ad design for a tour to Europe, specifically Italy. I wanted the Ad to show a land mark that was well known. The reason I chose this typeface was because it showed that even though it is leaning it is still sturdy, like the leaning tower of Pisa. I also chose to make the colors the color of the flag. I chose to have the background this color because I wanted to have the background as a color that would not take focus off of the type.
This is an Ad design for kitchen appliances and tools for men that are rich and retired around the ages 48 to 56. I chose this typeface because it looks very sleek and eloquent. I wanted the word “NOT� to look like a stove burner so it would draw attention to it. I stacked the words because I wanted it to be contained and look nice.

This is an Ad design for skateboarding for boys and girls of any age. I chose this typeface because it is playful and it has a skater look to it. I chose to do the background and the words “do not over� like this because I wanted to make it look like it was cut out of the grip tape of a skateboard. I placed it at the bottom of the page because I wanted it to have to show more of the white space above it like it is cut out towards the tail of the skateboard.
