It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2nd Annual MWC Investments Inc. Bull & Commercial Female Sale.
This cow herd came originally came from the purchase of Crescent Creek Rosebud 115F and she has made her mark in the whole Angus industry now. The past 4 years Robin has been aggressive buying donor cows that fit into his program, these dams are seen throughout the catalog. The maternal power to the cow herd is second to none with many full sisters working in the herd.
The bulls are fed just right for longevity with a good foot under them. Exercise in the bull pen is a key to the development of these bulls. These bulls are offer need to be considered by all to add to their program. Reminder to all, all bulls selling are parent Verified.
The sale will be run by DLMS with their Time Auction Program, if you need any assistance, please do contact any member of OBI or the sales staff or to Robin directly. I am very familiar with this program and the cows that back up the cattle offered, so please feel free to call myself or any of the sale staff.
I have an exciting set of bulls and heifers this year. On offer are proven strong maternal herd traits as well as introducing some new genetics from rising Angus cow families. I breed for maternal traits, beautiful udders, excellent feet, faultless structure and sensible attitudes. I developed my purebred herd to improve my commercial cows for years. Now I’m offering you the opportunity to share the genetics I’ve developed.
I again have our top donor cows out of Duff Body Builder 763 and Baldridge Bronc daughters MWC Rosebud 23F, MWC Rosebud 7Y and Rosebud 115F represented in our bull pen. I have a strong showing for Tribute 702, Coalition 206C and Sundance 6428 bulls. The pen fills out with 4Real 16250 bulls along with Banknote 4040 and 316 Stunner sons. A really good mix for you to get exactly the bull you need to optimize your herd.
I am offering another 60 open commercial heifers out of Baldridge Bronc sons. Last years’ sale heifers were so sound and consistent that one buyer took them all. These heifers are your opportunity to build a very maternal and consistent herd.

These are 60 commercial heifers from our herd and they come from the heart of the program. You will travel a lot of miles to find the quality of these females. The commercial cow herd is one of the best around. Most of these cows are based from raising herdbulls from the great Crescent Creek Rosebud 115F cow. We flushed her and used all of sons to create this cow herd. Very evenly set of brood matrons with great udders and structure. The calves are sired by Baldridge Bronc sons we used from many of our Rosebud cows at the farm. The commercial heifers are very uniform set backed by a great set of cows. They will all be palpated prior to the sale. We are here to sell you the right bull for your program. We believe you need to see for yourself the animals we have on display. However, if you cannot make it to view the animals before sale time. Please contact any of the above sale day numbers and we will find an animal that fits your needs and budget to the best of our ability, all info is kept confidential.
FERTILITY
All bulls are semen tested and the scrotal measurements taken before sale day by a certified veterinarian and will be provided on sale day. Any bulls who are decision deffered will be noted and presented up front before sale time.
Cash or cheques are in Canadian Dollars and all invoices must be settled before delivery of animal is made unless prior arrangements are made. All bulls sold under the Canadian Angus Association standard terms and conditions. In all cases the seller is not responsible for more than what the animal sold for. OBI Livestock Ltd. will be sending out the invoices after the sale is completed.
We are offering free delivery within 300 km of farm, over 300 km an arrangement will be made. We will hold the animals free of charge until April 15th after such date the amount of 3.00/day will be charged until delivery or pick up is made. Any animals staying at the farms must be insured. If you pick up your animal within a week of sale day, we are offering $100 dollar refund of your animal purchased.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DLMS FARM GATE TIMED AUCTION WITH EXTENDED BIDDING:

1.Visit dlms.ca and follow the link to the DLMS FarmGate timed auction site www.farmgatetimedauctions.ca, click the LOGIN/REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots or someone challenges your proxy bid and this is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number.
2. You can choose your favourite lots in this sale at this time and the program will allow you to open either all sale lots or just your favorite lots on your screen. Any time there is active bidding on a lot you have identified on your favorite list you will get a text and/or an email noting this activity.
3. The program allows you to place a proxy bid on any sale lot. This in fact protects your interest in any lot of interest for you to a specified dollar value you set, when you may not be able to give 100% attention to the sale. If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500.
4. At closing time of the sale the entire sale will extend bidding if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after close time will extend the sale by the time listed on each sale. In Most cases the time gets shorter the longer in to extended bidding the sale is. When no bidding occurs for the extended time the computer will declare the sale finished.
5. Following the sale the Owner or Sale Manager will invoice all buyers in the sale, please contact the seller with questions or to arrange delivery, pick up or shipping of your purchases.
