PAD talked to Babcock Health and Safety Development Manager, Alan Meikle, about the company’s success in this year’s RoSPAs where it won the Sector Award in the Facilities Management category.

A key element of this service is safety provision as Health and Safety Development Manager Alan Meikle explains: “My role is to provide support to the business by providing the safety strategy linked to the company objectives and targets.” The majority of Babcock’s work is provided by Ministry of Defence (MoD) contracts including the management of its sizeable Regional Prime Contracts in the South West and the East of the country where the company is responsible for various FM services.
