HOTSPOTS Hotspots are similar to glare in that they draw the attention away from the overall portrait. Hotspots are created when a fixture is improperly placed and the light is focused intensely on one part of the focal point instead of softly illuminating the desired point. Many

times the fixture can’t be relocated due to space. In this case, eliminating the hotspot has to be handled in the fixture. The Creator and Atlas ledge lights can rotate out, which allows the lamp to be lower into the fixture, thus trapping the light and eliminating the hotspot.
