Mobile Square on Tracks Shanghai, China Spring, 2014 Academic Individual Project Survey Partner: Lu Jie Design Date: 3/2016 - 7/2016 Supervisor: Lin Yifeng, yflintgu@gmail. com The site is located in the fashion center of Shanghai, Xintiandi where diversified events are held there. A multifunctional square is needed for such various events. The movable structures on the tracks is proposed for the possibilities of the different functions. Variable compositions allow the plaza to transfrom from a boulevard to a weekend market, from a square to film festival field.
