Editor’s Note Hello hello key-uites! Happy late new year!! I hope you all had an amazing winter break and a fantastic start to 2018 ☺ I know I enjoyed the snow and lots to sleeping/eating during break. Anyways, welcome to my January newsletter! Yes, it’s January which means there is only two more issues of Royal Report until my term ends. Though it is coming to an end, I hope you take the time to read through and stay updated with the club since DCON is in a few months. Make sure to get those hours in and keep volunteering! I’ll see you all in the next newsletter! ♡ In love and service, Kayla Calso

Presidents Letter Hey Key Clubbers! It’s January which means it’s 2018 now! This also means that the current board only has 2 more months and the new board will take over which is bittersweet. Once we came back from winter break we had our officer elections held and I want to say that I am proud of everyone who ran because you took the risk to be in front of a bunch of people and present your speech. You all did an amazing job even if you didn’t win. Treat yourself because talking in front of all those people is tough and nerve wracking. You all made me proud and I’m glad you decided to run for an officer position! Along with officer positions, we had Lieutenant Governor elections and Justin England from Kentwood! He will be serving the division during the 2018-2019 Key Club year. DCON is coming up very soon! The officer board, Aguayo, John and I have been working very hard on preparations for DCON. The price and attendees will be released shortly because things are still being confirmed. DCON is an amazing experience where you spend the weekend in Portland, Oregon and attend workshops, mega forums, a talent show, and socialize with a bunch of Key Clubbers for the PNW! It will be happening on March 16th-18th. If you want more information contact an officer or come to our meetings. This is all I have for this month. Thanks for reading another one of Kayla’s amazing newsletters! In love and service, Lexie Lam

Month in Review: December 2017 Hey Key Clubbers! I hope you all had a wonderful winter break, I sure did. Here's a recap of the jolly month of December. A special event that took place in December was Dance To Cure! If you don't know what that is, it was a dance where we had a good time while also raising money for KCCP! Around that time of the month, we had our blood drive volunteering and we also took our yearbook photo, shoutout to the Key Clubbers who showed up! Later on in the month, around the time of winter break, we had our gift wrapping volunteering! Huge thanks to those to took time out of their break to wrap presents! Towards the end of the month was a very heartfelt December DCM, which ended with a lot of us feeling great about ourselves and the friends we have, ending the year on a positive note. That's all for the month of December, good luck on finals and always be sure to stay Key-nected!!
