Letters from the Public Relation’s Hello Key Clubbers, My term as Public Relations opened the way for a lot of new experiences and great memories. Through all the good and bad, Key Club has helped me grow as a person and really give a good viewpoint of what it means to have caring as our way of life. In order to grow, there'll be times where you'll feel like the best version of yourself, but also run into obstacles that you must overcome. With Key Club, not only do you benefit yourself, but you also benefit the people around you, because that's the type of impact Key Clubbers have on each other. I just want to thank all the members and the board for all the great Key Club memories that were made this past term. Shoutout to all of you who made the decision to get involved, get out of your comfort zone, and see what Key Club can do for you. It really does brings a smile to my face seeing all of you serve the community and build friendships with memories that you can cherish. I hope Key Club has had some sort of positive impact on you all that you'll always carry with you, because it certainly has for me. In Love and Service, Elijah Suarez

My goal is to spread the word about our club and service. I bet you want to know how would I do that? I would use social media like Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram, to make sure that you will stay KEY-nected. But not only that, I could make flyers and posters to get more people interested to join our club. I'm aware that our community of the remarkable work our club is doing, with success and growth of our club fundraising and events. I really want to bring more attention to our club, because I want our members to build a stronger community. What I’m looking forward to when I’m officially public relations officer is that I will make sure that every Key Clubbers are happy, active, and excited for service throughout the year. I want to get to know every key club member throughout the divisions.

Letters from the Webmaster’s It has already been a whole term and we it's almost time for the previous board to go. Being your Webmaster was a blast and I can only wish I can be with you guys a little more but it'll be sad for me to let go. Lots of things has happened for my term but I wish I was able to experience it with the all of you but my schedule always interrupts, but I am glad that all of you guys were able to have fun with all the DCM's and club meetings. Your new board will do great and you'll have to just them on their decisions that they make and the direction that they choose for it. We had to make hard decisions as well and they will have to do the same so try to be patient with them and make KM Key Club the best out there.

Hey Key Clubbers, I will be your new and third Webmaster for the 2018-2019 of Kent-Meridian Key Club. At the time of writing this, I am excited for my first DCON and I can’t believe there are 6 days but I want to talk about my goals for the upcoming term first. One of the most important goals for me is to update the website with the latest info so that members will know what is happening within our club such as events, DCMs, and other key club agenda. Another goal that I have is that I want to add a blogs tab so that members can tell a story about an event and how it impacted them. This will maintain our public image. Also, for those people who don’t have Facebook or any social media, I want to post the list of volunteers on the website and use Remind 101 to send text messages to all members with the same list for all community service events. Overall, I look forward to starting my new term and hopefully build more ideas as it goes on. See you guys later! In love and service, Sibin Jacob

Letters from the Editors So the time has finally come. It’s my final newsletter and I have to say, it’s been a long journey with all of you key-uties. My newsletters have been my pride and joy every month and to see them being passed down to my innie makes me even more happy. The only wish I have for you all is to continue to read these newsletters and I hope that every single time you read through it, you’ll smile. For these newsletters connect us all, not just because it reviews the month, but because it shows all the good times we had together. I hope all of you continue to service the community with all your heart and keep the value of Key Club close to you. Stay toasty, my keyuties ♡ In love and service, Kayla Calso

Hi! My name is Deyaneira and I am a junior in running start. So far I've had quite the struggle this year, although I have been able to get by so long as I focus and work hard. My goals for this upcoming term are to help our club grow and to volunteer as much as I can. the past year I haven't been able to volunteer so I would really like to be a lot more involved. Honestly, volunteering more is one of the things I'm looking forward. I enjoy the work very much. I also look forward to creating tighter bonds with everyone and meeting new people. 5

Letters from the Treasurer’s The school year is over in around 4 months which means that more than half of the old officer board will be graduating. Within my term, I was able to create new bonds with members whom were very awkward around me and change their initial impression that I was intimidating. Not only was I able to lead the club along with the best people out there, but I also organized some fundraisers that allowed members a chance to go to DCON 2018 and raised money for KMKC and KCCP. Through this experience, I gained new social and leadership skills that will help me post-high school. This feeling is bittersweet, but I trust the new board with all my heart and soul.

Hey Key clubbers, I am very excited to serve as your 2018-2019 treasurer! As my term is coming close to a start, I have some goals planned that I would like to achieve. First off, I would like to plan many fun fundraisers and raise big bucks! I also want to make the key club environment welcoming and enjoyable for all. Having more events like hosting DCMs at KM. Together let’s have a great year! :) -Jayden

Letters from the Secretary’s I enjoyed being secretary and doing all the behind the scene stuff, like making really aesthetic (and funny) meeting minutes, and getting to know the members through sign in sheets and volunteering! Honestly, I couldn’t wait to be a secretary and I'm sad that I'm leaving now, but I know the club will be in good hands!

ps I really love my board First off I would like to say its an honor that I am elected as secretary, it took a lot of commitment when running for this position but I’m glad I ran. My goal as our Key Club’s new secretary of 2018-19 is to continue to keep everything organized like my outtie Marian did, I also want to get new members and encourage them to stay active since a lot of people disappear throughout the year. I would also love to get involved with our members, get close with them, and provide the help and information and that they need. I am very excited and also nervous out my term starting soon!! Hopefully it’ll be an experience I’ll never forget and cherish in the near future, in the meantime stay toasty! Love in service đ&#x;”‘ - Yasmin Hussein â?¤

Letters from the Vice-President’s Hey Key Clubbers! This will be my last time addressing you guys as your Vice-President! It's bittersweet but I'm very happy to have served as your Vice-President and I wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to do so. I'm happy with what the board has accomplished throughout our term and can say that everyone did a really good job with their roles. As VP, my job is to help and fill in for any of the other officers but everyone did a really good job that I didn't have to fill in as much. I can say that my last year in Key Club was a good one working alongside the board and you Key Clubbers and am excited to see what the future of Kent-Meridian Key Club will be. As always, stay toasty

I’m grateful for all the members for volunteering and showing good spirits and I’m proud of the officer board I worked with because we have all grown and I’m going to miss working with you all. Being president was a huge leap for me. I was scared for this term but it actually ran through very smoothly thanks to the help of the team. This term has been amazing and I know that I put my all into this club and running it. I’m thankful for all of you guys and I can’t wait to see how things turn out with my innie, Danielle! Goodbye and good luck everyone! In love and service, Lexie Lam Hello my fellow key clubbers! A Year in Review Hey Key Clubbers! This is your Vice-President speaking for the last time before I officially retire at DCON. This year has been filled with so many memories and just a mix of emotions and I'm so glad I was able to experience it all with my amazing officer board and Key Clubbers. It's been amazing serving as your Vice-President and I just wanted to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve this role. To the Freshmen, you guys are filled with so much potential and I can't wait to see what you'll accomplish in the near future for this club. To the Sophomores, you guys have shown that you are Proud 'N' Willing to Serve your home, school, and community and I couldn't be happier. To my Juniors, I'm so happy and proud you were still able to keep up with club activities while enduring one of the toughest years in High School (In my opinion.) And to my Seniors, we've been through a lot of "firsts" together, and now we're going to experience a lot of "lasts" including our last DCON, so let's make this one count! I can happily say the club is in good hands with our innies as their term is soon starting and I hope you guys can accomplish just as much!
