PRESIDENT’S LETTER Hello my fellow key clubbers! If you don’t know, my name is Danielle Dumlao and I am your incoming president of the 2018-2019 term (aka madam prez). I am a Junior in the IB Certificate program, so you will definitely be seeing me around school :) Writing this letter is a bitter sweet experience because the current board’s term will end but a whole brand new board will come to serve you guys! One goal that I have for my term is establishing a good relationship with all members in the club so that everyone would be comfortable coming up to me if they have any questions or need any rides because I will be driving soon. So be ready for me approaching you with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I am looking forward to seeing my keyuties next week!! In love and service, Madam prez PS. April in Review Hey key clubbers, for those who don’t know me, my name is Makhari Coleman, and I’m your Public relations officer. For the past month it was amazing, especially Dcon. Dcon was amazing because I got to attend workshops, receive officer training, network with other attendees, and elect the next District Executive officers. Led and attended by high school service leaders, DCON is a unique event for Key Clubbers to share new ideas to take back

to their clubs and better serve their communities. The Senior breakfast was fun because I get to hang out with our new officer board, and serving seniors breakfast. Make sure to stay KEYnected through our social media, and make sure to volunteer events, and attend Dcm’s. For the meantime, stay toasty In love and service, Makhari Coleman

DCON, who?!

What’s Good Key Clubbers, it’s your VP here. For those of you that don’t know what DCON is, DCON stands for district convention. During DCON there are guess speakers, a talent show, a dance, workshops, and many more. These workshops cover almost any topic, from finding fundraising ideas to speed dating. I’m sure there’s a workshop for you that you’ll find educational or entertaining. Now DCON isn’t just exclusive to your division, the entire PNW is invited! You’ll be able to meet Key Clubbers from different divisions, cities, and states that all share the same passion for service as you! Members from all over the PNW will gather round to celebrate all the service they’ve accomplished throughout the year. This year DCON

was held in Portland, Oregon. We were able to have a meet and greet and meet other key clubbers from different divisions while trading pins and having spirit battles! Workshops were also available for us to attend and we were able to listen to the speeches of the district board candidates. After watching amazing performances during the talent show, we congratulated and welcomed the newly elected district board during closing session. Last, but not least, we ended our trip with governors ball! DCON is an amazing experience and I hope to see you at DCON 2019 in Seattle!

In Love and Service, Vannida Hao
