Objectives
Most of the people have a smart phone with them. Whether they are in a totally new place or just checking out places to go from their current location, they’ll take out their phone and search for information. Smart travel is a convenient app for people to find information about flights, hotel, rentals, and restaurants‌ etc. from places around the world. It will also suggest the top 10 places on the list after the user type in the location. It is helpful for travelers and for people who are searching in their own cities.
The goal is to help and advise people on what they need and where they want to go from almost any locale.
Target Audience People who like International travel and need information in new places or even people who are just curious about what’s going on around their area.
Media This app works though smart phones and other devices that people now have with them most of the time.

Kayak
Kayak is similar to Trip Advisor. From the research, Kayak actually integrates Trip advisor’s ratings and reviews, so you can see both of them on the website, but not on the app. The information is very useful and easy to navigate. The color theme is similar to Viator Tours & Activities which is gray and orange; the logo is bright and easy to recognize, but in the app, the background color brings down user’s mood while using it.
Viator Tours & Activities
Viator Tours & Activities is an app that tells people where can they go for travel and what can they do for activities. People don’t really know about it, but Viator Tours & Activities is actually working with Trip Advisor in order to make booking plans easier. Compared with other apps, the special thing about this app is that it only gives attractions, activities, and discounts, not restaurants and hotels.
Tripit
The pros for Tripit is that it automatically creates complete travel itineraries from your email confirmation notices, includes maps of destinations and airport terminals. It also offers a unique service by automatically turning travel email confirmations into a complete and neat itinerary. It's an ideal service to offer in a mobile app.
