Improve your skills By Jonathan Toye The summer season is an opportunity for all young athletes to grow in their respective sports. Sports camps give kids the chance to do just that. Young athletes in the Hill Country are in luck, as there are plenty of sports camps to attend this summer. Whether your children love basketball, baseball, football, tennis, volleyball or softball, there’s a camp they can attend that will cultivate their athletic skills.

Tivy High School 3250 Loop 535, Kerrville All camps except football are held on the athletic field; football camps are held at the football stadium. • Softball camp: June 4-6 See SPORTS, page 16
