Tchéky Karyo

A Delightful Accent Tchéky Karyo is French with a delightful accent that sounds so sexy it is enough to curl some ladies' toes. He is flattered to be considered a sex symbol at the mature age of 65, but modest and might not agree with fans who insist he beats Peter O’Toole and Sean Connery in the Silver Fox Department! Female fans better learn to eat their hearts out as Karyo is married to Valerie Keruzore, a gorgeous French actress. They have one child together and he has a previous child from his first marriage, so sorry the man is out off screen when it comes to his personal life. It was hard not to be fascinated by the prime time British TV Series ”The Missing" a macabre production that saw the actor battling a brain tumour, and getting himself involved in a series of sinister, sadistic and scary predicaments! Karyo remained cool and intermittently smouldering throughout. Vacate Your Cave If you have never heard of the delectable French actor, or the "The Missing" TVseries, it is about time you vacated your Himalayan cave and returned to civilisation. He has 113 acting credits to his name, including “The Patriot”; he played the part of an evil French officer, next to Mel Gibson and continued to star in many a Hollywood biopic as a bad guy, including “Bad Boys” with Will Smith. However, he truly excelled as a corrupt and violent Paris cop who frames the hero for murder in “Kiss of the Dragon!” In real life this French thespian is more poetic than evil gangster. He is a song writer and released a popular album in France ensuring he has become a household name over there. However, it was only when he played alongside James Nesbitt in the role of Julien Baptiste in "The Missing", did he became a household name in the "green and pleasant land!". In fact, his "on screen" charisma had Brits sitting on the edge of their seats throughout each stunning episode. His fascinating aura ensures he has a bevy of female fans in his wake. But even Joe Bloggs was glued to the small screen, especially that episode, when he broke the case wide open, and discovered where the “Missing” were being held captive.

A Complex Guy Tchéky Karyo was born in Turkey under the beneficial rays of a Libra Sun, and a Moon in Virgo. He is a complex romantic, of the “closet timid” persuasion: acting probably helps him step out of his shell. He lives on the edge of tension most days, he can be nervous and hyper critical of himself and others. He eases up on the perfectionism, as his artistic self emerges into the light of day; he is not only an actor, but a singer and song writer. Back in his youthful days, when he was employed by the Starsbourg National Theatre, he would have had a varied romantic life. He is gorgeous now, and was devastatingly handsome then, flirting probably balanced out his more sombre Mr Picky tendencies. He expresses his creative side "a gogo", and has never stopped writing songs. His recent album Ce lien qui nous unit "The link that binds us" was released on his sixtieth birthday with considerable success. He is used to success though, he also won the César Award, as the Most Promising Actor for his role in La Balance and in 1986 he won the Jean Gabin Prize!

Harsher on Himself Jupiter in Gemini ensures this monsieur is a socially aware intellectual, a problem solver, who learned to step back from his critical nature. He is usually harsher on himself than others. He can solve most knotty problems, emotional or otherwise, with Mr J on his side. Jupiter optimism exacerbates the “bon ami” elements to his personality and his positive Venus placement ensures he is adaptable and tactful, inner peace and balance being his raison d'etre. His mind is refined of course, with the Goddess of love on his side; Venus also ensures he is gentle, sympathetic to others suffering, and aware of his emotional responses now that he is in his senior years. As a result he portrays his roles with unwavering maturity and authenticity.

His True Nature This is the kind of TV detective we want on our case, even if it would take Sherlock Holmes to understand his true nature; many elements of the actor's lifestyle are carefully kept from public scrutiny. But one thing is sure, he has a youthful quality, a capacity to have fun, to use his ideas and invest money in them. He is also a great story teller, recounting amazing tales through his brilliant acting on stage and screen. And as the dulcet tones of his musical creations play out life's theme tunes, we continue to watch his talents on our small screens and might be tempted to say Vive La France!

Changing your life and harnessing your potential through Astrology! Like all personal horoscopes, this analysis is based on the planet positions in the signs and houses, their aspects to each other and other celestial influences that help mould your personality. The difference is, I won't just be telling you what this all says about you but I will suggest what you can do, too, to build on your strengths and overcome the weaknesses shown through the negative features of your chart.

Holidays can put a strain on your relationship Many people have high expectations of their holidays. They spend weeks, even months, hoping that everything will be blissful, idyllic. Reality can mean that things don't always go to plan as they discover that they're not as relaxed with their partner as they'd hoped, may have even grown apart from each other. Holidays can put one heck of a strain on our relationship! It's interesting that many family lawyers comment that whilst New Year is often the busiest time for people to seek a divorce, after the full-on closeness, stress and drama of a family Christmas spent together, holiday times and long Bank Holiday weekends can equally place an inordinate amount of strain on our relationship. Consider how our normal day-to-day living consists of much familiar, automatic routine, of us being aware of our roles, of what's expected of us, having tasks that we regularly do before we collapse in front of the TV or wander off exhausted to bed. Holidays can put any flaws or short-comings in our relationship under the spotlight as we book time away, expectantly hoping to have fun together and rekindle some of the old spark and intimacy during our trip. Here are some tips that can help to ease the strain of holidays: A de-stress session before your holiday can be a good idea. I have clients who come for hypnotherapy so that they're able to relax immediately their holiday starts, rather than typically take 2-3 days to wind down from their busy work schedule. A pre-holiday massage is another valuable way to manage stress, strain and tension.

Children often benefit from playing and spending time with other children whilst they're on holiday, as do their parents from having a little free time on their own. Check if you need to book children's clubs in advance and then aim to make the most of your personal time and spend it doing companionable things as a couple.

Holidays can provide an opportunity to put life's daily stresses and pressures to one side for a while and interact with each other as the couple you used to be before life, children, work & stress got in the way. They can provide time to revisit what attracted you both to each other in the first place, time to reconnect with your relationship and remind yourselves of how good it could be once again.

Discuss in advance if there are specific things either of you would like to do during the holiday. Some people simply want to relax by the pool or on the beach. Others would hate to do that and prefer to explore, walk miles, browse through markets and sight-see. Discuss if you're happy to compromise and do a little of both or prefer to spend some time enjoying things separately. That way any areas of potential strain are out in the open and have been agreed in advance. Some couples only realise when they're on holiday that they have lost the art of chatting conversationally with each other. They've stopped sharing banter and chit-chat and now simply exchange information and updates when they're at home. It may be a revelation to discover how far they've drifted apart and lost touch with each other's lives, interests, hopes & dreams. If this is you then your holiday can be a good time to focus on what needs to be done; talking, taking time for intimacy & love-making, having fun together. It can be a great opportunity to sensitively discuss your relationship and agree on the importance of scheduling regular 'us' time as part of your post-holiday plans. You could agree to start scheduling weekend walks, a regular evening meal for just the two of you, going to bed a little earlier to talk, turning of your technology and being more present. If you're spending the holidays at home ensure that some time is committed to fun activities and not just doing chores, DIY and projects around the house. Plan some leisurely time together for relaxing lunches, walks and catching up on idle conversation. Aim to reconnect and enjoy each other's company. Many attractions offer special deals at this time so check online and in local media and source fun, inexpensive ways to spend your time. Use the opportunity to relax, practise sensitivity, respect and commit to communicate well whilst letting go of some of your daily stresses and strains. Use your holiday as a time to refresh yourself and your relationship. Cold Feet

ITV have confirmed that BAFTA winning comedy drama, Cold Feet, has been recommissioned for a ninth series from acclaimed creator and writer Mike Bullen and award winning producers Big Talk Productions. Six further episodes of the Manchester based series will begin shooting later this year commissioned by ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill. Cold Feet stars James Nesbitt, Hermione Norris, Robert Bathurst, Fay Ripley and John Thomson.

At the end of series eight Jenny (Fay Ripley) was dealing with her cancer treatment and with husband Pete (John Thomson) by her side, preparing herself for the long road ahead; David (Robert Bathurst) was putting his life back together with the support of his friends; while Karen (Hermione Norris) and Adam (James Nesbitt) were figuring out the boundaries of their burgeoning relationship and the impact it had on the close knit group. “I think we were all overwhelmed by the amazing response to the latest series. Jenny's cancer in particular seemed to touch a nerve with viewers. There are still stories to tell for these characters but I'm conscious that we've raised the bar.” The six episode series will shoot later this year in Manchester to air on ITV in 2020. July Horoscopes from Russell Grant

What effect will the Solar Eclipse have this month?

ARIES Big changes will occur on the home front at the beginning of July. The Solar Eclipse on the 2nd suggests you will move to accommodate someone's career. Alternatively, you might relocate after a government agency takes over a piece of property. The upheaval will be significant, but it will ultimately benefit you. Starting fresh will give you a chance to release some old grudges that have been weighing on your heart. On the 16th, a Lunar Eclipse will bring an end to a tense situation with someone at work. Don't panic if you're forced to find another job. It will be much better working for someone who isn't on a power trip. Look for an opportunity that will allow you to exercise your own excellent leadership ability. You're very good at boosting morale, meeting high standards and delivering on promises. As a result, you'll quickly climb the ladder to success.

TAURUS Harsh criticism on the 2nd will undermine your confidence. The Solar Eclipse in early July beckons you to acquire more skills and knowledge. Taking a course in a subject that has always fascinated you will give you the spiritual lift you need. It doesn't matter if you're learning to cook, sew, build furniture, make spreadsheets or perform office accounting. You will rise to the challenge with a demanding teacher. Contrary to what a critic says, you're extremely intelligent and capable. Don't let the haters get you down. A Lunar Eclipse on the 16th brings the end to a legal matter. Once this decision has been rendered, you'll be able to lead a more stable, organised life. It will be such a relief to not be constantly on call. If you've been longing to take an overseas trip, schedule one. This journey will have a profound impact on your belief system.

GEMINI The Solar Eclipse on the 2nd brings a new source of income, but there will be challenges involved. A demanding partner will force you to play by a strict set of rules. You'll resent being accountable to this taskmaster, but it can't be helped. If you want to improve your financial situation, you should accept this job with all its frustrations. By sticking to your principles, you'll establish yourself as a highly capable person who knows how to turn a profit. On the 16th, the Lunar Eclipse brings an end to an intimate relationship. Someone who has been struggling with an addiction needs to undergo rehabilitation. Don't let their obsessions drag you down. Although you don't want to leave your loved one in their hour of need, it may be the only way they see what needs to be done. Even then, they still may be too stubborn to choose health over substance abuse.

CANCER The Solar Eclipse on the 2nd helps you undergo a radical transformation. You could start your own business, have an image update or take on a new professional role. This shift will possibly put stress on a close relationship. The people you live or work with want to maintain the status quo, but this simply isn't possible. You are being called to fulfil your life's purpose. Embrace every opportunity to improve your circumstances, even if it creates tension in your personal life. It's possible you will relocate on the 16th. That's when a Lunar Eclipse brings closure to a domestic situation. Moving to a different neighbourhood, selling a piece of property or buying a home are among the possibilities. You might decide to move to somewhere smaller. Be ready to find living circumstances that support your new reality. This might mean leaving the country for the city or downsizing your living space. Do what's best for you.

LEO On the 2nd, a Solar Eclipse will prompt you to adopt a low profile. Demands at work will compromise your health unless you take it easy. Instead of enjoying late nights and loud parties, go home early and fix nutritious meals. Get into bed and let your body replenish. This will allow you to wake up and face the day's challenges with a positive attitude. A staffing shortage may require you to accept more shifts or longer hours. Don't panic; the situation is temporary. The Lunar Eclipse on the 16th could find you reaping rewards for a job well done. You will receive a promotion or offer of employment that transforms your life. Instead of being forced to take whatever assignments you can get, you'll have your choice of opportunities. Your health could improve dramatically at the end of the month, possibly because of a surgical procedure or strict regimen.

VIRGO The Solar Eclipse on the 2nd will draw influential people into your social circle. A romantic partner or someone close won't approve of your new friends. They'll be threatened by their influence in your life. Don't let your loved one's misgivings interfere with these new alliances. You have an opportunity to improve your standing. By joining forces with a powerful group, you'll be able to fulfil your creative potential. On the 16th, a Lunar Eclipse will bring an end to an artistic venture. A respected critic will champion your work, helping you earn fame and acclaim. It's difficult for a naturally modest person like you to be heaped with praise. You'll be suspicious of all the favourable remarks about your work. Put your suspicions aside and let this praise sink into your bones. You have worked hard and have earned these accolades. This is your reward for taking your natural talent to a whole new level.

LIBRA An interesting career opportunity could come your way on the 2nd, courtesy of a Solar Eclipse. Although you welcome the chance to get ahead, you are worried this job will take you far from home. It may be necessary to relocate to another part of the country. Living a long distance from family may be a blessing in disguise. Too often, you try to impress your loved ones instead of pursuing your own desires. Getting some physical distance from them will lead to emotional growth. Embrace this opportunity to change. Your dependence on a habit will come to an end on the 16th. That's when the Lunar Eclipse will give you the courage to break away from a person or activity that fed your insecurities. Instead of turning to them for solace, you'll learn how to cope with problems in a healthy way. You're much stronger than you think. Break off a troubled alliance.

SCORPIO The opportunity to expand your horizons will arrive on the 2nd, thanks to a Solar Eclipse. Going on an overseas trip or launching a new and exciting personal project are all possibilities. You will feel like a fish out of water throughout this journey. Being uncomfortable will help you grow and change. You're about to see just how privileged you really are. Working alongside people who are in a more vulnerable position will make you more compassionate, sympathetic and caring. Being receptive to the unfamiliar will work to your advantage at the beginning of the month. The Lunar Eclipse on the 16th changes your outlook. Recently, you've been cynical about power and authority. When a respected and responsible figure person comes to your rescue, your ideas will change. Instead of being suspicious of people in charge, you'll look past their job titles and evaluate them on their individual merits.

SAGITTARIUS A Solar Eclipse on the 2nd invites you to be more generous with an intimate partner. You've always prized your freedom, but if you're going to enjoy the benefits of a close relationship, you have to open your heart and share your resources. Someone trustworthy and reliable does deserve your financial support. If you're living together or married, pool your resources. Don't make them live on a tight budget when they could benefit from your income. A Lunar Eclipse on the 16th will put an end to an ethical dilemma. Justice will be served to a bullying, oppressive personality who has been abusing their power. This decision will cause you to breathe a sigh of relief. This tyrant has forced you to walk on eggshells. Once they leave the scene, your productivity will soar. You'll also become much more creative. It's easy to brainstorm when you're not afraid of reprisals.

CAPRICORN A relationship will reach a turning point on the 2nd, thanks to a powerful Solar Eclipse. Resist the temptation to maintain the status quo. Give away some of personal power to your best friend, romantic partner or business associate. Trying to control your other half is making you both miserable. Celebrate their accomplishments, encourage their independence and follow their lead. You will be pleasantly surprised. On the 16th, the Lunar Eclipse brings a close to a prominent role. Leaving this position will give you more time to do the things you love. Don't feel compelled to fill your days with work and chores. Instead, venture outdoors. Begin a creative project. Indulge your sensual side. You've always been the useful, productive one in your group. Keeping your nose to the grindstone made you feel worthy. Summon your courage and turn away from the work pile. You've earned the right to rest, relax and reflect on the future.

AQUARIUS A new job is coming your way on the 2nd, but it will throw you off balance. Normally, you're confident about your professional abilities. This position will make you realise you lack essential skills. Instead of panicking, strengthen your resolve. The Solar Eclipse at the beginning of July will help you acquire some undoubted abilities. Don't be afraid to ask your boss for additional training or taking a course after hours. Be open to growing, changing and improving. Pride is your worst enemy at the start of the month. By the 16th, a Lunar Eclipse will help you conquer a persistent fear. Your fundamental distrust of the establishment has stopped you from realising your full potential. Instead of avoiding a government official, manager or politician, ask for their help. They'll help you gain access to fundamental resources. We're here to help one another. Don't insist being a lone wolf when you can be supported by the pack.

PISCES Friends won't approve of a romantic relationship on the 2nd. That's when a Solar Eclipse forces you to choose between being happy and being popular. Stop trying to impress people who want to control your life. As soon as you start listening to your instincts, you'll become more confident about your choices. When others criticise your choices, you'll simply shrug, laugh and continue on your path. This will be incredibly empowering. The Lunar Eclipse on the 16th brings an end to an abusive association. Although a friendship began as a positive influence, it has devolved into a power struggle. Stop letting an intimidating person put you down. Their hostility has its roots in jealousy. You shouldn't feel defensive about your breakthroughs & good fortune. All the abundance that has come to you is the result of hard work and a positive attitude. Stay positive and keep moving towards the light.

Food Heaven

KFC Vegan Burger Following the launch of KFC’s ‘The Imposter’ burger, you may have been disappointed to try the new burger as the fast food chain announced it has sold out in just four days after the official launch. KFC reported that sales of the burger were 500% higher than their normal burger options. The vegan burger was launched at the KFC stores across London, Bristol and the Midlands. The London (Gloucester Road) branch confirmed they sold approximately one Imposter Burger every minute on before selling out. Victoria Robertson, senior innovation leader at KFC, said: “We knew there were plenty of people who would want to get a taste of the Imposter, but we didn’t anticipate this phenomenal response! She added “We can’t wait to get the Imposter back out in restaurants so vegans can get their finger lickin’ fix.”

Iceland launches Halloumi burger From halloumi fries to halloumi-flavoured crisps, we have become obsessed with anything halloumi, so it’s not surprise that Iceland is the first supermarket to launch this treat! Cheese lovers will be excited for Iceland’s first ever Halloumi Burger at just £2.50 for two (90g) burgers. Iceland’s full-size Halloumi burger is made of a patty of halloumi cheese, which is then coated in crispy breadcrumbs. Iceland recommends serving the Cypriot speciality in a brioche bun with mounds of fresh, crunchy salad and a dollop of hommus. The Halloumi burger is available both in store and online, but Iceland warns they are only available for a limited time. Credit: KFC and ICELAND

Tricia from Ipswich asks “I work in an office that's very sociable, but I'm really shy. How can I come out of my shell..?” As a Gemini, Tricia is fun-loving, friendly and intelligent. She longs to be sociable but with Mercury retrograde in Gemini and Mars retrograde in Sagittarius, it can feel at times as if she is standing on the sidelines watching other people being at ease with each other and wishing she knew what to say to join in. Underneath, Tricia is a wonderfully warm and sociable person but she has allowed feelings of shyness to hold her back. It may be that childhood experiences when she tried to be sociable and was met with a negative response are continuing to affect her. It might help for her to visualise herself as being more confident. Tricia could also suggest meeting up with workmates outside working hours to forge stronger bonds. Going to movies, concerts or games together may be a good start.

Penny from Portsmouth asks “I've recently retired and I don't know what to do with myself. How will this chapter of my life pan out..?” Penny has three planets in Scorpio and three planets in Libra and this suggests that she can usually be as comfortable in her own company as she is with others. Penny needs her solitary moments as much as she needs friendship so getting a balance between the two should be her first priority now. Retirement is a big change. It will take time for Penny’s Scorpio side to adjust to not having the routine of going to work and the sense of purpose this can bring, while the Libra in her will miss familiar work relationships. Loneliness can lead to depression and in order to avoid this, Penny should stay active. She could attend social groups, classes, events and trips where she might meet other people and make new friends. The last thing she should do is withdraw into herself. It’s a time to set new goals, take up new hobbies and find ways to enjoy her retirement.

Friluftsliv

The latest Scandinavian lifestyle trend 'Friluftsliv' has been dubbed the new 'Hygge' but it's actually been popular in Denmark, Norway and Sweden for over a century. It's something so simple that we can all make it a part of our regular routine as the English translation means “free air life” or “open air living”. Unlike Hygge, which is a Danish sense of 'cosy contentment', Friluftsliv was first coined in Norway by Henrik Ibsen (1950’s) and, like Scottish trend Coorie, it's all about spending time outdoors. Friluftsliv means boosting our spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing by being immersed in nature and the great outdoors.

Friluftsliv is so ingrained within Scandinavian businesses, employees are given afternoons off to hike, bike or run outdoors. So how do you make Friluftsliv a part of your every day life? Long weekend walks with the dog, or lacing up your trainers for an early morning run or cycle through the woods are also easy ways to reap the physical and mental benefits of the Great British countryside. Get moving and breathing in fresh air – as anything goes!

Yoga

Yoga originated in India around 5,000 years ago and has been adapted in other countries in a variety of ways. Yoga is now commonplace in gyms, leisure centres, health clubs, hospitals and schools. It’s an ancient form of exercise that focuses on flexibility, strength and breathing to boost physical & mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures to increase strength, flexibility and breathing. Most studies highlight that yoga is a safe and effective way to increase physical activity, especially strength, flexibility and balance and some evidence that regular yoga practice is beneficial for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, aches and pains – including lower back pain – depression and stress. Classes can vary in duration but typically last between 45 and 90 minutes. A longer class will give you more time for learning breathing and relaxation techniques, and will give the teacher time to work with your individual ability. It's worth speaking to a teacher about their approach before you sign up for a class. The main UK yoga associations are: # British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), the Sport England-recognised governing body for yoga # Independent Yoga Network # Iyengar Yoga (UK) # Yoga Alliance Professionals

You have some brilliant ideas that you’ll enjoy sharing with like-minded friends. Regular group activities can be made to step up now with everyone on the same wavelength. With your social life being so hectic, your love life may not be as sparkling, but you can’t have it all.

Don’t be surprised if by the middle of the month, other friends come to you for help with their romantic and financial problems. Up until the 15th you will be spreading your time between numerous commitments and responsibilities. You don’t have a moment to call your own and there isn’t any chance to spend quality time with your partner. People don’t seem to appreciate the sacrifices you are making in order to keep group and community projects running smoothly. You run the risk of losing someone you love. Change this while there is still the chance or you might never get to heal the breach that’s growing between you.

If you want a relationship to work you are going to have to put more effort into it. Devote a little time and affection to your special someone. The first half of July will be great for booking a romantic break. Getting away from it all will allow you to focus on each other. Exciting changes are happening in your relationships. Escaping everyday demands will deepen bonds of intimacy. If you’re single, you could meet someone even if you aren’t looking & suddenly your love life will start to sizzle.

There is something natural and easy about romance as July begins. Meeting up with cheerful friends and enjoying hobbies you all share will lift your spirits. You don’t mind helping anyone who seems to need it and people are quick to show their appreciation. Still, to further your own romantic interests, you may have to turn down a social invitation around the 19th. After all, you can’t be in two places at the same time. Besides, too much partying can drain your energy.

You will hear some tantalising rumours but these will have little basis in reality. So don’t let these lead you to speculating about other people’s private lives. A new friend who radiates glamour also has expensive tastes. If you can’t afford to go to fancy restaurants, admit it. You can be sociable without spending lots of cash. Someone who is kind, sensitive and nurturing will know how to make you feel pampered without it costing a penny. Make holiday plans as the month ends.

A strong desire for freedom could lead you to break away from a restrictive relationship. You don’t want to lead an ordinary life and a possessive friend or partner is making you unhappy. You have no intention of remaining with someone who is trying to control you. Your playful side will be on show between the 8th and 20th and a casual flirtation will put a spring in your step. Enjoy this chance to meet a variety of people before settling down.

A friend will persist on asking for your help when you have genuine reasons for turning them down. If they can’t take no for an answer, be ready to ask for a few favours in exchange for what you are doing for them. You and a partner may need some time apart in order for you both to consider a joint predicament. Retreat to a tranquil hideaway to do some quiet thinking. You will feel less emotional and more able to see things rationally from a distance.

Going Plastic Free..

It’s no secret that the extreme amount of plastic used by people daily is causing a large strain on our planet. The headlines have made it clear, single-use plastics will be the death of our planet if we don’t start to make a change. More and more people across the globe are beginning to realise that something needs to be done before it is too late. In the last month plans to ban plastic shopping bags in New York have been released, Sir David Attenborough backed the manufacture of biodegradable glitter, and a British coffee company happily took a 25% profit loss in order to remove single-use cups from all of their shops. Governments and corporations have

responsibility to take larger action, but what can we do as individuals to cut down our personal plastic footprints? The idea of living completely plastic free can be frightening, after all, we have become so reliant on plastic! There are, however, more and more easy alternatives to help you on your way! Now I’m not suggesting you quit plastic cold-turkey (unless you’re ready to do that), but there are smaller changes you can start with to help you on your way to living a more eco-friendly life. Here are four easy switches to reduce plastic waste.

Bathroom Routine We use a lot of plastic in the bathroom. Just go stand in your bathroom, look around and note all of the plastic items you can see. Your toothbrush, razor, shampoo, shower gel, the list goes on and on. Some of these items can be swapped for products that have been around just as long - if not longer - that are completely plastic free. Shower gel comes in a plastic bottle, so instead opt for a traditional bar of soap. Not only does this typically use more natural products, it is also completely plastic free! Another bar you could switch out a bottle for is a shampoo bar. These products are fairly new and have risen with the fight against plastic, they are a fantastic way to get rid of your plastic bottle. Plastic toothbrushes can also be swapped out for a bamboo toothbrush, which works just as well without the plastic waste when you replace it every 3 months. Another product you may not think about as much when it comes to plastic is razors. Both disposable and reusable razors from the supermarket are mostly made out of plastic. Of course reusable razors are slightly better, though they will still be disposed of eventually as well as having plastic in the razor heads. For plastic free shaving, switch to a safety razor. Not only do they help you cut back on plastic waste (they are completely plastic free), they also help you save money! The English Shaving Company have a fantastic collection of safety razors for both men and women. Reusable Products Replacing typical one-use plastic products with reusable ones is a fantastic way to reduce your waste. The plastic bag fee came into place in 2015 to help reduce the amount of plastic bags people use when shopping. This has helped greatly reduce the amount of plastic bags we use, instead replacing them with reusable carrier bags. Get yourself a few material bags of a variety of sizes for all of your shopping! Cups and straws are another big issue when it comes to plastic use. Paper or metal straws are great alternative to your usual plastic straw. If you are wanting something more permanent and reusable then opt for metal straws. These usually come with a tiny brush for you to clean the straw with after you’ve used it, making it a great reusable option that works just as well as the plastic version. To avoid using plastic disposable cups, carry around your own travel mug and ask for tea’s and coffee’s to be put in this instead.

Packaging There are a lot of occasions where companies put their fruits and vegetables in plastic packaging. This is not necessary, as most produce have their own protective layer or can easily be prepared with a quick wash. Also, paper bags would be just as useful in this situation. When it comes to fresh produce opt for the products the store has available in either no packaging or paper rather than the plastic wrap. If you really want to dedicate yourself to living life with less plastic and helping the environment, you could even begin growing your own produce at home. Skin Care Earbuds are one of these products, a handy little cotton bud that can be used for various reasons. The one-use items are great to use, but awful for the environment. Luckily, someone has made a bamboo alternative! Although not made out of plastic, cotton pads often come in plastic packaging. Cotton pads are a big part of most of our skin care routines, when it comes to removing makeup and applying toner. Fear no more, reusable cotton pads are now a thing. The handy little pack comes in a material bag for storage and are cleaned by simply popping them into the washing machine. They work just as well as usual cotton pads, without the unnecessary added plastic. Small Changes for a Big Difference Small changes can make a huge difference to your plastic footprint. If we all just started making these simple life changes and began to cut plastic out, we will see a drastic difference to our planet. We are running out of time to save our beautiful planet and the creatures who live on it.

DREAM MEANINGS

Dreaming of a zoo are often linked to your aspects of your waking life. It may involve friends, family, current and past lovers and colleagues from work. You or them may be visiting the zoo or they may form part of the display. Zoo dreams are linked to repressed feelings of being "trapped in a cage" or of being on display to entertain passing visitors. Perhaps your role in life involves you engaging with people and this contact and notoriety is now starting to make you feel uncomfortable and perhaps have attracted some unwanted attention that has both embarrassed you and also made you feel very wary of everyone around you. New faces and strangers could have a particular negative impact as your levels of mistrust and uncertainty have increased and you are starting to feel a life in the spotlight is not for you! Dreaming of visiting a zoo could indicate that your life is going through a phase of confusion, upset and chaos. It's often a sign that you need to take a step back from your day to day routine and start to make significant changes to clean up your life. You may have hidden thoughts and desires if you dream of animals escaping the zoo. You can no longer repress these emotions and it's a signal that these now need to be expressed in the open! You are on the verge of losing control over aspects in your waking life if you dream of a zookeeper. There is something significant that has been playing on your mind for some time and you are afraid that this will be revealed to everyone. You will have to face some opposition in your love life if you dream of Apes. They also act as a warning against mischief making in your circle of friends. It's time to buckle down and pay more attention at work as your relaxed attitude will start to be noticed soon by your superiors. Baboons, on the other hand are a good sign if you're single. Marriage could be just around the corner. If you are already married, a baboon spells a rise in status and indicates a lucky and profitable time ahead for business deals.

Bats flying around in daylight are a symbol of reassurance and calm, but if you see one at night a problem is about to be presented in terms of family or finance. If a bat brushes against you as it flies past, it's to remind you that your run of bad luck will soon pass. The noble camel suggests you will have to pull out all the stops work-wise to overcome difficulties. If you ride on a camel your future looks very bright! Dolphins are beautiful creatures but sadly not a good sign in a dream. They often spell worries, dangerous journeys, the failure of a pet project or the illness of a friend. Elephants however, show you are in good health. You are also about to meet someone important who will influence your career and also introduce you some great business contacts too! A long necked Giraffe acts as a warning to stop meddling in other peoples affairs. Your intentions are honest and true but others may not want this unwanted attention from you which could be seen as you being very nosy! Seeing a Hippo in the zoo suggests your future is full of frustrations. You need to double check everything you are currently working on and more importantly have a fall back plan if things don't work to plan or timings. As you are reliant on others there are too many variables to rely on so a back-up plan is essential. Leopards are a symbol of enemies or rivals. Simply see one and you will win in the end. Whereas a running Leopard is a sign of illness. A lion in your dream indicates social success will be yours soon. Hear him roar and you will have to cope with a bit of jealousy. A Lion cub predicts a valuable new friend who you will be able to trust from the moment you meet. Monkeys are often seen as fun and entertaining animals but dreaming of them is a clear warning that you are surrounded by lies and deceit - Trust no one! If you feed them you are about to be betrayed by someone and this will have a deep impact on what you reveal to your friends and family in the future!

To help remember your dreams, try keeping a dream diary. On waking, don’t get out of bed or even change position. Keep a note pad/pen at your bedside and record everything you can remember.
