THURSDAY 17 MAY 2018 THE STAR SYDNEY Following another excellent year for nominations from the legal profession's finest, Australasian Lawyer is pleased to announce those shortlisted in this year’s awards THE ANNUAL Australasian Law Awards will return to Sydney this May to celebrate excellence in the legal profession. The prestigious event will bring together the most influential industry figures to recognise the leading lawyers, firms, in-house legal teams and the landmark deals that have shaped the business landscape over the past year. The Star Sydney will once again play host to the black-tie event on Thursday 17 May. Our call for nominations in January-February this year was incredibly well-supported in the industry, with a record number of nominations received across all categories. The sheer number of nominations received this year combined with the quality of those nominations
makes being named a finalist an achievement in its own right. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who took the time to submit nominations this year and to all our sponsors whose continued support makes the event a success year on year. Australasian Lawyer is proud to introduce you to the individuals, firms, teams and dealmakers that have outshone their industry peers to make this year’s list of finalists. Over the following pages you will see those shortlisted across the 34 award categories. We look forward to celebrating their and your success at The Star Sydney on Thursday 17 May.

Russell McVeagh's lawyers are the best in their fields and are recognised internationally for their expertise.
Our success reflects our focus on our two key assets: our people and our clients.
