Craveable Brands
Craveable Brands has a vision to be a powerhouse of craveable food brands with unparalleled scale, capability and people. The team at Craveable Brands are passionate about people and food. They work together to build better experiences for their customers, partners and people. The last 12 months have provided Cravers with a chance to look at things differently. In the face of significant operational challenges and opportunities, adjusting the existing strategic and tactical approach was critical to achieving a record performance year across the Craveable Brands Group. The pandemic forced the leadership team to challenge assumptions around pace in decision-making and gave them an opportunity to truly see the value in the scale of a genuine group approach. Real efficiency was gained by centralising the pandemic response and adopting consistent messaging across the brands. Empowering operational leaders to make decisions quickly was also key to enabling talented individuals to accelerate development, leading to many internal promotions and development opportunities. The focus on safety was also sharpened, with real success achieved via the implementation of a new WHS MS system that exceeded benchmarks against ISO standards. Above all, a genuine focus on wellness and improved communications meant that Cravers knew what was happening in real time. A new wellness strategy, an updated learning approach with the inclusion of multiple new offerings, and the introduction of a comprehensive new compliance approach have all made 2020/21 a year to remember.
